| І бисть, єгда́ сконча́ Ісу́с словеса́ сія́, пре́йде от Галиле́ї і при́йде в преді́ли Іуде́йськія об он пол Іорда́на. | And it came to pass when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan; |

| І по Нем ідо́ша наро́ди мно́зі, і ісціли́ їх ту. | and great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. |
|

|
| (Зач. 78) І приступи́ша к Нему́ фарисе́є іскуша́юще Єго́ і глаго́лаша Єму́: а́ще досто́їть челові́ку пусти́ти жену́ свою́ по вся́цій вині́? | And the Pharisees came unto him, trying him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: ні́сте ли чли, я́ко сотвори́вий іскони́, му́жеський пол і же́нський сотвори́л я єсть? | And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, |

| І рече́: сего́ ра́ди оста́вить челові́к отця́ (своєго́) і ма́тер і приліпи́ться к жені́ своє́й, і бу́дета о́ба в плоть єди́ну, | and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? |

| я́коже ктому́ ні́ста два, но плоть єди́на; є́же у́бо Бог сочета́, челові́к да не разлуча́єть. | So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. |
|

| Глаго́лаша єму́: что у́бо Моїсе́й запові́да да́ти кни́гу распу́стную і отпусти́ти ю? | They say unto him, Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorcement, and to put her away? |

| Глаго́ла їм: я́ко Моїсе́й по жестосе́рдію ва́шему повелі́ вам пусти́ти жени́ ва́ша; ізнача́ла же не бисть та́ко; | He saith unto them, Moses for your hardness of heart suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it hath not been so. |

| глаго́лю же вам, я́ко і́же а́ще пу́стить жену́ свою́, ра́зві словесе́ прелюбоді́йна, і ожени́ться іно́ю, прелюби́ твори́ть; і женя́йся пущени́цею прелюби́ ді́єть. | And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery. |

| Глаго́лаша Єму́ ученици́ Єго́: а́ще та́ко єсть вина́ челові́ку с жено́ю, лу́чше єсть не жени́тися. | His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man is so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry. |

| Он же рече́ їм: не всі вміща́ють словесе́ сего́, но ї́мже дано́ єсть; | But he said unto them, Not all men can receive this saying, but they to whom it is given. |

|
| суть бо скопці́, і́же із чре́ва ма́терня роди́шася та́ко; і суть скопці́, і́же скопи́шася от челові́к; і суть скопці́, і́же іскази́ша са́мі себе́ Ца́рствія ра́ди Небе́снаго; моги́й вмісти́ти да вмісти́ть. | For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. |

| Тогда́ приведо́ша к Нему́ ді́ти, да ру́ці возложи́ть на них і помо́литься; ученици́ же запрети́ша їм. | Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should lay his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. |
|

|
| Ісу́с же рече́ їм: оста́віте діте́й і не возбраня́йте їм прийти́ ко Мні; такови́х бо єсть Ца́рство Небе́сноє. | But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven. |

| І возло́жь на них ру́ці, оти́де отту́ду. | And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence. |
|

| (Зач. 79) І се єди́н (ні́кий) присту́пль рече́ Єму́: Учи́телю Благи́й, что бла́го сотворю́, да і́мам живо́т ві́чний? | And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? |

| Он же рече́ єму́: что М'я глаго́леши бла́га? Нікто́же благ, то́кмо єди́н Бог; а́ще ли хо́щеши вни́ти в живо́т, соблюди́ за́повіді. | And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? None is good save one, even God: but if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. |

| Глаго́ла Єму́: кі́я? Ісу́с же рече́: є́же, не убіє́ши; не прелюби́ сотвори́ши; не укра́деши; не лжесвиді́тельствуєши; | He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, |

| чти отця́ і ма́тер; і: возлю́биши і́скренняго твоєго́, я́ко сам себе́. | Honor thy father and thy mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. |
|

| Глаго́ла Єму́ ю́ноша: вся сія́ сохрани́х от ю́ности моєя́; что єсьм єще́ не доконча́л? | The young man saith unto him, All these things have I observed from my youth: what lack I yet? |

| Рече́ єму́ Ісу́с: а́ще хо́щеши соверше́н би́ти, іди́, прода́ждь імі́ніє твоє́ і даждь ни́щим; і імі́ти і́маши сокро́вище на небесі́; і гряди́ вслід Мене́. | Jesus said unto him, If thou wouldest be perfect, go, sell that which thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. |

| Сли́шав же ю́ноша сло́во, оти́де скорб'я́; бі бо імі́я стяжа́нія мно́га. | But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions. |

| Ісу́с же рече́ ученико́м Свої́м: амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко неудо́б бога́тий вни́деть в Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє; | And Jesus said unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. |

| па́ки же глаго́лю вам: удо́біє єсть вельбу́ду сквозі́ іглині́ у́ші пройти́, не́же бога́ту в Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє вни́ти. | And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. |

| Сли́шавше же ученици́ Єго́, дивля́хуся зіло́, глаго́люще: кто у́бо мо́жеть спасе́н би́ти? | And when his disciples heard it, they were astonished exceedingly, saying, Who then can be saved? |

| Воззрі́в же Ісу́с рече́ їм: у челові́к сіє́ невозмо́жно єсть, у Бо́га же вся возмо́жна. | And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. |
|

| Тогда́ отвіща́в Петр рече́ Єму́: се, ми оста́вихом вся і вслід Тебе́ ідо́хом; что у́бо бу́деть нам? | Then answered Peter and said unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee; what then shall we have? |
|

| Ісу́с же рече́ їм: амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко ви ше́дшії по мні, в пакибитіє́, єгда́ ся́деть Син Челові́чеський на престо́лі сла́ви Своєя́, ся́дете і ви на двоюна́десяте престо́лу, судя́ще обімана́десяте колі́нома Ізра́їлевома; | And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. |

| і всяк, і́же оста́вить дом, іли́ бра́тію, іли́ сестри́, іли́ отця́, іли́ ма́тер, іли́ жену́, іли́ ча́да, іли́ се́ла, і́мене Моєго́ ра́ди, стори́цею при́йметь і живо́т ві́чний наслі́дить; | And everyone that hath left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit eternal life. |

| мно́зі же бу́дуть пе́рві послі́днії, і послі́дні пе́рвії. | But many shall be last that are first; and first that are last. |
