| (Зач. 16) Внемлі́те ми́лостині ва́шея не твори́ти пред челові́ки, да ви́димі бу́дете ї́ми: а́ще ли же ні, мзди не і́мате от Отця́ ва́шего, І́же єсть на Небесі́х. | Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: else ye have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. |

| Єгда́ у́бо твори́ши ми́лостині, не воструби́ пред собо́ю, я́коже лицемі́ри творя́ть в со́нмищих і в сто́гнах, я́ко да просла́в'яться от челові́к. Амі́нь глаго́лю вам, восприє́млють мзду свою́. | When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. |

| Тебі́ же творя́щу ми́лостині, да не уві́сть шу́йця твоя́, что твори́ть десни́ця твоя́, | But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: |

| я́ко да бу́деть ми́лостиня твоя́ в та́йні; і Оте́ць твой, ви́дяй в та́йні, Той возда́сть тебі́ я́ві. | that thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret himself shall recompense thee openly. |
|

| І єгда́ мо́лишися, не бу́ди я́коже лицемі́ри, я́ко лю́б'ять в со́нмищих і в сто́гнах путі́й стоя́ще моли́тися, я́ко да яв'я́ться челові́ком. Амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко восприє́млють мзду свою́. | And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. |

| Ти же, єгда́ мо́лишися, вни́ди в кліть твою́ і, затвори́в две́рі твоя́, помоли́ся Отцю́ твоєму́, І́же в та́йні, і Оте́ць твой, ви́дяй в та́йні, возда́сть тебі́ я́ві. | But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee openly. |

| Моля́щеся же не ли́шше глаго́літе, я́коже язи́чници; мнять бо, я́ко во многоглаго́ланії своє́м усли́шані бу́дуть; | And in praying use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. |

| не подо́бітеся у́бо їм; вість бо Оте́ць ваш, ї́хже тре́буєте, пре́жде проше́нія ва́шего. | Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. |
|

|
| Си́це у́бо молі́теся ви: О́тче наш, І́же єси́ на Небесі́х, да святи́ться і́м'я Твоє́; | After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. |
|

|
| да при́йдеть Ца́рствіє Твоє́; да бу́деть во́ля Твоя́, я́ко на Небесі́, і на землі́. | Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, As in heaven, so on the earth. |
|

|
| Хліб наш насу́щний даждь нам днесь; | Give us this day our daily bread. |
|

|
| і оста́ви нам до́лги на́ша, я́ко і ми оставля́єм должнико́м на́шим; | And forgive us our debts, As we also forgive our debtors. |
|

|
| і не введи́ нас в напа́сть, но ізба́ви нас от лука́ваго. Я́ко Твоє́ єсть Ца́рствіє, і си́ла, і сла́ва во ві́ки. Амі́нь. | And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. |

| (Зач. 17) А́ще бо отпуща́єте челові́ком согріше́нія їх, отпу́стить і вам Оте́ць ваш Небе́сний; | For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. |
|

| а́ще ли не отпуща́єте челові́ком согріше́нія їх, ні Оте́ць ваш отпу́стить вам согріше́ній ва́ших. | But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. |
|

| Єгда́ же постите́ся, не бу́діте я́коже лицемі́ри сі́тующе; помрача́ють бо ли́ця своя́, я́ко да яв'я́ться челові́ком постя́щеся. Амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко восприє́млють мзду свою́. | Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may be seen of men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. |

| Ти же постя́ся пома́жи главу́ твою́, і лице́ твоє́ уми́й, | But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thy head, and wash thy face; |
|

|
| я́ко да не яви́шися челові́ком постя́ся, но Отцю́ твоєму́, І́же в та́йні; і Оте́ць твой, ви́дяй в та́йні, возда́сть тебі́ я́ві. | that thou be not seen of men to fast, but of thy Father who is in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee. |

| Не скрива́йте себі́ сокро́вищ на землі́, іді́же черв і тля тлить, і іді́же та́тіє подко́пивають і кра́дуть; | Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: |

|
| скрива́йте же себі́ сокро́вище на Небесі́, іді́же ні черв, ні тля тлить, і іді́же та́тіє не подко́пивають, ні кра́дуть; | but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: |

| іді́же бо єсть сокро́вище ва́ше, ту бу́деть і се́рдце ва́ше. | for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |

| (Зач. 18) Світи́лник ті́лу єсть о́ко. А́ще у́бо бу́деть о́ко твоє́ про́сто, все ті́ло твоє́ сві́тло бу́деть; | The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. |

| а́ще ли о́ко твоє́ лука́во бу́деть, все ті́ло твоє́ те́мно бу́деть. А́ще у́бо світ, і́же в тебі́, тьма єсть, то тьма кольми́? | But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness! |

| Нікто́же мо́жеть двіма́ господи́нома рабо́тати: лю́бо єди́наго возлю́бить, а друга́го возненави́дить, іли́ єди́наго держи́ться, о друзі́м же неради́ти на́чнеть. Не мо́жете Бо́гу рабо́тати і мамо́ні. | No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. |

| Сего́ ра́ди глаго́лю вам: не пеці́теся душе́ю ва́шею, что я́сте, іли́ что піє́те, ні ті́лом ва́шим, во что облече́теся. Не душа́ ли бо́льші єсть пи́щі, і ті́ло оде́жди? | Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than raiment? |

| Воззрі́те на пти́ці небе́сния, я́ко не сі́ють, ні жнуть, ні собира́ють в жи́тниці, і Оте́ць ваш Небе́сний пита́єть їх. Не ви ли па́че лу́чші їх єсте́? | Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they? |

| Кто же от вас пеки́йся мо́жеть приложи́ти во́зрасту своєму́ ла́коть єди́н? | And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? |

| І о оде́жди что пече́теся? Смотрі́те крин се́льних, ка́ко расту́ть: не тружда́ються, ні пряду́т; | And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: |

| глаго́лю же вам, я́ко ні Соломо́н во всей сла́ві своє́й облече́ся, я́ко єди́н от сих; | yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |

| а́ще же сі́но се́льноє, днесь су́ще і у́трі в пещ вмета́ємо, Бог та́ко одіва́єть, не мно́го ли па́че вас, малові́ри? | But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? |

| (Зач. 19) Не пеці́теся у́бо, глаго́люще: что я́ми, іли́ что піє́м, іли́ чим оде́ждемся? | Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? |

| Всіх бо сих язи́ци і́щуть; вість бо Оте́ць ваш Небе́сний, я́ко тре́буєте сих всіх. | For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. |
|

| Іщі́те же пре́жде Ца́рствія Бо́жия і пра́вди Єго́, і сія́ вся приложа́ться вам. | But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. |
|

| Не пеці́теся у́бо на у́трей, у́треній бо собо́ю пече́ться; довлі́єть дне́ві зло́ба [попече́ніє] єго́. | Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. |
