| (Зач. 20) Не суді́те, да не суди́мі бу́дете; | Judge not, that ye be not judged. |

| і́мже бо судо́м су́дите, су́дять вам; і в ню́же мі́ру мі́рите, возмі́риться вам. | For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you. |
|

| Что же ви́диши суче́ць, і́же во о́ці бра́та твоєго́, бервна́ же, є́же єсть во о́ці твоє́м, не чу́єши? | And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? |
|

| Іли́ ка́ко рече́ши бра́ту твоєму́: оста́ви, да ізму́ суче́ць із очесе́ твоєго́, і се, бервно́ во о́ці твоє́м? | Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye? |

| Лицемі́ре, ізми́ пе́рвіє бервно́ із очесе́ твоєго́, і тогда́ у́зриши із'я́ти суче́ць із очесе́ бра́та твоєго́. | Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. |

| Не даді́те свята́я псом, ні помета́йте би́сер ва́ших пред свинія́ми, да не поперу́ть їх нога́ми свої́ми і вра́щшеся расто́ргнуть ви. | Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you. |

| (Зач.) Просі́те, і да́сться вам; іщі́те, і обря́щете; толці́те, і отве́рзеться вам; | Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: |

| всяк бо прося́й приє́млеть, і іщя́й обріта́єть, і толку́щему отве́рзеться. | for everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. |

| Іли́ кто єсть от вас челові́к, єго́же а́ще воспро́сить син єго́ хлі́ба, єда́ ка́мень пода́сть єму́? | Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone; |

| Іли́ а́ще ри́би про́сить, єда́ змію́ пода́сть єму́? | and if he shall ask for a fish, will give him a serpent? |

| А́ще у́бо ви, лука́ві су́ще, умі́єте дая́нія бла́га дая́ти ча́дом ва́шим, кольми́ па́че Оте́ць ваш Небе́сний дасть бла́га прося́щим у Него́. | If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? |

| (Зач. 21) Вся у́бо, єли́ка а́ще хо́щете, да творя́ть вам челові́ци, та́ко і ви творі́те їм: се бо єсть зако́н і проро́ци. | All things therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, even so do ye also unto them: for this is the law and the prophets. |

| Вни́діте у́зькими врати́; я́ко простра́нная врата́ і широ́кий путь вводя́й в па́губу, і мно́зі суть входя́щії ім; | Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. |

| что у́зькая врата́ і ті́сний путь вводя́й в живо́т, і ма́ло їх єсть, і́же обріта́ють єго́. | How narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it! |
|

| (Зач. 22) Внемлі́те же от лжи́вих проро́к, і́же прихо́дять к вам во оде́ждах о́вчих, внутр же суть во́лци хи́щници; | But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. |
|

| от плод їх позна́єте їх. Єда́ об'ємлютю от те́рнія гро́зди, іли́ от ре́пія смо́кви? | By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? |

| Та́ко вся́ко дре́во до́броє плоди́ добри́ твори́ть, а зло́є дре́во плоди́ зли твори́ть; | Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. |
|

| не мо́жеть дре́во добро́ плоди́ зли твори́ти, ні дре́во зло плоди́ добри́ твори́ти. | A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. |
|

| Вся́ко у́бо дре́во, є́же не твори́ть плода́ добра́, посіка́ють є і во огнь вмета́ють. | Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. |
|

| Ті́мже у́бо от плод їх позна́єте їх. | Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them. |
|

| (Зач. 23) Не всяк глаго́ляй мі: Го́споди! Го́споди! — вни́деть в Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє; но творя́й во́лю Отця́ Моєго́, І́же єсть на Небесі́х. | Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. |

| Мно́зі реку́ть мні во он день: Го́споди! Го́споди! Не в Твоє́ ли і́м'я проро́чествовахом, і Твої́м і́менем бі́си ізгони́хом, і Твої́м і́менем си́ли мно́гі сотвори́хом? | Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? |

| І тогда́ іспові́м їм: я́ко ніколи́же знах вас, отиді́те от Мене́, ді́лающії беззако́ніє. | And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. |

| (Зач. 24) Всяк у́бо, і́же сли́шить словеса́ Моя́ сія́ і твори́ть я, уподо́блю єго́ му́жу му́дру, і́же созда́ хра́мину свою́ на ка́мені; | Everyone therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock: |

| і сни́де дождь, і прийдо́ша рі́ки, і возві́яша ві́три, і нападо́ша на хра́мину ту; і не паде́ся, основана́ бо бі на ка́мені. | and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock. |

| І всяк сли́шай словеса́ Моя́ сія́, і не творя́ їх, уподо́биться му́жу уро́диву, і́же созда́ хра́мину свою́ на пісці́; | And everyone that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: |

| і сни́де дождь, і прийдо́ша рі́ки, і возві́яша ві́три, і опро́шася хра́мині той, і паде́ся; і бі разруше́ніє єя́ ве́ліє. | and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof. |

| І бисть єгда́ сконча́ Ісу́с словеса́ сія́, дивля́хуся наро́ди о уче́нії Єго́; | And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching: |

| бі бо учя́ їх я́ко власть імі́я, і не я́ко кни́жници (і фарисе́є). | for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. |
