| В день же той ізше́д Ісу́с із до́му, сідя́ше при мо́рі. | And on that day Jesus went out from the house, and sat by the seaside. |
|

| І собра́шася к Нему́ наро́ди мно́зі, я́коже Єму́ в кора́бль влі́зти і сі́сти; і весь наро́д на бре́зі стоя́ше. | And there were gathered unto him great multitudes, so that he entered into the boat, and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach. |

| І глаго́ла їм при́тчами мно́го, глаго́ля: (Зач. 50) се ізи́де сі́яй, да сі́єть; | And he spake to them many things in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went forth to sow; |
|

|
| і сі́ющу єму́, о́ва падо́ша при путі́, і прийдо́ша пти́ці, і позоба́ша я; | and as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them: |
|

|
| друга́я же падо́ша на ка́менних, іді́же не імі́яху землі́ мно́ги, і а́біє прозябо́ша, зане́ не імі́яху глубини́ землі́; | and others fell upon the rocky places, where they had not much earth: and straightaway they sprang up, because they had no deepness of earth: |
|

| со́лнцю же возсія́вшу присвя́нуша, і зане́ не імі́яху коре́нія, ізсхо́ша; | and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. |
|

|
| друга́я же падо́ша в те́рнії, і взи́де те́рніє і подави́ їх; | And others fell upon the thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked them: |

|
| друга́я же падо́ша на землі́ до́брій і дая́ху плод, о́во у́бо сто, о́во же шестьдеся́т, о́во же три́десять; | and others fell upon the good ground, and yielded fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. |
|

|
| імі́яй у́ші сли́шати да сли́шить. | He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. |
|

|
| (Зач. 51) І приступи́вше ученици́ (Єго́) реко́ша Єму́: почто́ при́тчами глаго́леши їм? | And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? |
|

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: я́ко вам дано́ єсть разумі́ти та́йни Ца́рствія Небе́снаго, о́нім же не дано́ єсть; | And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. |

| і́же бо і́мать, да́сться єму́ і преізбу́деть (єму́); а і́же не і́мать, і є́же і́мать, во́зметься от него́; | For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath. |
|

| сего́ ра́ди в при́тчах глаго́лю їм, я́ко ви́дяще не ви́дять, і сли́шаще не сли́шать, ні разумі́ють; | Therefore speak I to them in parables; because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. |

| і сбива́ється в них проро́чество Іса́їно, глаго́лющеє: слу́хом усли́шите, і не і́мате разумі́ти; і зря́ще у́зрите, і не і́мате ви́діти; | And unto them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive: |

| отолсті́ бо се́рдце люді́й сих, і уши́ма тя́жко сли́шаша, і о́чі свої́ смежи́ша, да не когда́ у́зрять очи́ма, і уши́ма усли́шать, і се́рдцем разумі́ють, і обратя́ться, і ісцілю́ їх. | For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I would heal them. |

| Ва́ша же блаже́нна очеса́, я́ко ви́дять, і у́ші ва́ші, я́ко сли́шать; | But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. |

| амі́нь бо глаго́лю вам, я́ко мно́зі проро́ци і пра́ведници вожделі́ша ви́діти, я́же ви́діте, і не ви́діша, і сли́шати, я́же сли́шите, і не сли́шаша. | For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not. |

| Ви же усли́шіте при́тчу сі́ющаго; | Hear ye then the parable of the sower. |

|
| вся́кому сли́шащему сло́во Ца́рствія і не разуміва́ющу, прихо́дить лука́вий і восхища́єть всі́янноє в се́рдці єго́; сіє́ єсть, є́же при путі́ сі́янноє. | When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the wayside. |

| А на ка́мені сі́янноє, сіє́ єсть сли́шай сло́во і а́біє с ра́достію приє́млеть є; | And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightaway with joy receiveth it; |

|
| не і́мать же ко́рене в себі́, но привре́менен єсть; би́вши же печа́лі іли́ гоне́нію словесе́ ра́ди, а́біє соблажня́ється. | yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightaway he stumbleth. |

| А сі́янноє в те́рнії, се єсть сли́шай сло́во, і печа́ль ві́ка сего́ і лесть бога́тства подавля́єть сло́во, і без плода́ бива́єть. | And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. |

| А сі́янноє на до́брій землі́, се єсть сли́шай сло́во і разуміва́я; і́же у́бо плод прино́сить і твори́ть о́во сто, о́во же шестьдеся́т, о́во три́десять. | And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; who verily beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. |

| (Зач. 52) І́ну при́тчу предложи́ їм, глаго́ля: уподо́бися Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє челові́ку, сі́явшу до́броє сі́м'я на селі́ своє́м; | Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that soweth good seed in his field: |

| сп'я́щим же челові́ком, при́йде враг єго́ і всі́я пле́вели посреді́ пшени́ці і оти́де; | but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. |
|

|
| єгда́ же прозябе́ трава́ і плод сотвори́, тогда́ яви́шася і пле́веліє. | But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. |
|

|
| Прише́дше же раби́ господи́на, рі́ша єму́: го́споди, не до́броє ли сі́м'я сі́ял єси́ на селі́ Твоє́м? Отку́ду у́бо і́мать пле́вели? | And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares? |

| Он же рече́ їм; враг челові́к сіє́ сотвори́. Раби́ же рі́ша єму́: хо́щеши ли у́бо, да ше́дше ісплеве́м я? | And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we should go and gather them up? |

| Он же рече́ (їм): ні; да не когда́ восторга́юще пле́вели, восто́ргнете ку́пно с ни́ми (і) пшени́цю; | But he said, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them. |

| оста́вите расти́ обоє́ ку́пно до жа́тви; і во вре́м'я жа́тви реку́ жа́телем: собері́те пе́рвіє пле́вели і свяжі́те їх в снопи́, я́ко сожещи́ я; а пшени́цю собері́те в жи́тницю мою́. | Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn. |

| (Зач. 53) І́ну при́тчу предложи́ їм, глаго́ля: подо́бно єсть Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє зе́рну гору́шичну, є́же взем челові́к всі́я на селі́ своє́м, | Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: |

| є́же ма́лійше у́бо єсть от всіх сі́мен; єгда́ же возрасте́ть, бо́ліє (всіх) зе́лій єсть і бива́єть дре́во, я́ко прийти́ пти́цям небе́сним і вита́ти на ві́твех Єго́. | which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof. |

| І́ну при́тчу глаго́ла їм: подо́бно єсть Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє ква́су, єго́же взе́мши жена́ скри в са́тіх тріє́х муки́, до́ндеже вскисо́ша вся. | Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened. |

| Сія́ вся глаго́ла Ісу́с в при́тчах наро́дом, і без при́тчі нічесо́же глаго́лаше к ним; | All these things spake Jesus in parables unto the multitudes; and without a parable spake he not unto them: |

| я́ко да сбу́деться рече́нноє проро́ком, глаго́лющим: отве́рзу в при́тчах уста́ моя́; отри́гну сокрове́нная от сложе́нія ми́ра. | that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world. |

| Тогда́ оста́вль наро́ди, при́йде в дом Ісу́с. (Зач 54) І приступи́ша к Нему́ ученици́ Єго́, глаго́люще: скажи́ нам при́тчу пле́вел се́льних. | Then Jesus left the multitudes, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Explain unto us the parable of the tares of the field. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: сі́явий до́броє сі́м'я єсть Син Челові́чеський; | And he answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; |

|
| а село́ єсть мир; до́броє же сі́м'я, сі́ї суть Си́нове Ца́рствія, а пле́веліє суть си́нове неприя́зненнії; | and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; |
|

|
| а враг всі́явий їх єсть дия́вол; а жа́тва кончи́на ві́ка єсть; а жа́телі а́нгели суть. | and the enemy that sowed them is the devil: and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. |
|

|
| Я́коже у́бо собира́ють пле́вели і огне́м сожига́ють, та́ко бу́деть в сконча́ніє ві́ка сего́; | As therefore the tares are gathered up and burned with fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. |
|

| по́слеть Син челові́чеський А́нгели своя́, і соберу́ть от Ца́рствія Єго́ вся собла́зни і творя́щих беззако́ніє | The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity, |

|
| і вве́ргуть їх в пещ о́гненну; ту бу́деть плач і скре́жет зубо́м. | and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
|

|
43
|
| тогда́ пра́ведници просвітя́ться, я́ко со́лнце, в Ца́рствії Отця́ їх. Імі́яй у́ші сли́шати да сли́шить. | Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. |
|

| (Зач. 55) Па́ки подо́бно єсть Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє сокро́вищу сокрове́ну на селі́, є́же обрі́т челові́к скри, і от ра́дости єго́ і́деть, і вся, єли́ка і́мать, продає́ть, і купу́єть село́ то. | Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in the field; which a man found, and hid; and in his joy he goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. |

| Па́ки подо́бно єсть Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє челові́ку купцю́, і́щущу до́брих би́серей, | Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a merchant seeking goodly pearls: |

| І́же обрі́т єди́н многоці́нен би́сер, шед продаде́ вся, єли́ка ім'я́ше, і купи́ єго́. | who, when he found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. |
|

| Па́ки подо́бно єсть Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє не́воду вве́ржену в мо́ре і от вся́каго ро́да собра́вшу, | Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: |

|
| і́же єгда́ іспо́лнися, ізвлеко́ша ї на край, і сі́дше ізбра́ша до́брия в сосу́ди, а зли́я ізверго́ша вон. | which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but the bad they cast away. |

| Та́ко бу́деть в сконча́ніє ві́ка: ізи́дуть а́нгели і отлуча́ть зли́я от среди́ пра́ведних, | So shall it be in the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the righteous, |

| і вве́ргуть їх в пещ о́гненную; ту бу́деть плач і скре́жет зубо́м. | and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |

| Глагола їм Ісу́с: разумі́сте ли сія́ вся? Глаго́лаша Єму́; єй, Го́споди. | Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. |
|

| Он же рече́ їм: сего́ ра́ди всяк кни́жник, научи́вся Ца́рствію Небе́сному, подо́бен єсть челові́ку домови́ту, і́же ізно́сить от сокро́вища своєго́ но́вая і ве́тхая. | And he said unto them, Therefore every scribe who hath been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, who bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. |

| (Зач. 56) І бисть, єгда́ сконча́ Ісу́с при́тчи сія́, пре́йде отту́ду. | And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence. |

| І прише́д во оте́чествіє своє́, уча́ше їх на со́нмищи їх, я́ко диви́тися їм і глаго́лати: отку́ду сему́ прему́рость сія́ і си́ли? | And coming into his own country he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? |

| не Сей ли єсть текто́нов син? Не Ма́ти ли Єго́ нарица́ється Маріа́м, і бра́тія Єго́ Іа́ков і Іосі́й, і Си́мон і Іу́да? | Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? |

| і сестри́ Єго́ не вся ли в нас суть? Отку́ду у́бо Сему́ сія́ вся? | And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? |

| І блажня́хуся о Нем. Ісу́с же рече́ їм: ність проро́к без че́сти, то́кмо во оте́чествії своє́м і в дому́ своє́м. | And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and in his own house. |
|

|
| І не сотвори́ ту сил мно́гих за неві́рство їх. | And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. |
