| (Зач. 65) І приступи́ша (к Нему́) фарисе́є і саддуке́є, іскуша́юще проси́ша Єго́ зна́меніє с небесе́ показа́ти їм. | And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and trying him asked him to show them a sign from heaven. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: ве́черу би́вшу, глаго́лете: ве́дро, чермну́єтьбося не́бо; | But he answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the heaven is red. |
|

|
| і у́тру: днесь зима́, чермну́єтьбося дряселу́я не́бо. Лицемі́ри, лице́ у́бо небесе́ умі́єте разсужда́ти, зна́меній же времено́м не мо́жете (іскуси́ти). | And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the heaven is red and lowering. Ye hypocrites, ye know how to discern the face of the heaven; but ye cannot discern the signs of the times. |

| Род лука́в і прелюбоді́йний зна́менія і́щеть, і зна́меніє не да́сться єму́, то́кмо зна́меніє Іо́ни проро́ка. І оста́вль їх, оти́де. | An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet. And he left them, and departed. |

| І преше́дше ученици́ Єго́ на он пол, заби́ша хлі́би взя́ти. | And his disciples came to the other side and forgot to take bread. |
|

| (Зач. 66) Ісу́с же рече́ їм: внемлі́те і блюді́теся от ква́са фарисе́йська і саддуке́йська. | And Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. |
|

| Они́ же помишля́ху в себі́, глаго́люще: я́ко хлі́би не взя́хом. | And they reasoned among themselves, saying, We took no bread. |
|

|
| Разумі́в же Ісу́с рече́ їм: что ми́слите в себі́, малові́ри, я́ко хлі́би не взя́сте? | And Jesus perceiving it said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? |
|

|
| не у ли разумі́єте, ніже́ по́мните п'ять хлі́би п'яти́м ти́сящам, і коли́ко кош взя́сте? | Do ye not yet perceive, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? |
|

|
| ні ли седьм хлі́би чети́рем ти́сящам, і коли́ко ко́шниць взя́сте? | Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? |
|

|
| ка́ко не разумі́єте, я́ко не о хлі́біх ріх вам внима́ти, (но) от ква́са фарисе́йська і саддуке́йська? | How is it that ye do not perceive that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. |

| Тогда́ разумі́ша, я́ко не рече́ храни́тися от ква́са хлі́бнаго, но от уче́нія фарисе́йська і саддуке́йська. | Then understood they that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. |

| (Зач. 67) Прише́д же Ісу́с во страни́ Кесарі́ї Фили́ппови, вопроша́ше ученики́ Своя́, глаго́ля: кого́ М'я глаго́лють челові́ци би́ти*, Си́на Челові́чеськаго? | Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am? |

| Они́ же рі́ша: о́ві у́бо Іоа́нна Крести́теля, іні́ї же Ілію́, друзі́ї же Ієремі́ю іли́ єди́наго от проро́к. | And they said, Some say John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. |

| Глагола їм (Ісу́с): ви же кого́ М'я глаго́лете би́ти*? | He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am? |
|

| Отвіща́в же Си́мон Петр рече́: Ти єси́ Христо́с, Син Бо́га Жива́го. | And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. |
|

| І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ єму́: блаже́н єси́, Си́моне, вар Іо́на, я́ко плоть і кров не яви́ тебі́, но Оте́ць Мой, І́же на небесі́х; | And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven. |

| і Аз же тебі́ глаго́лю, я́ко ти єси́ Петр, і на сем ка́мені сози́жду Це́рков Мою́, і врата́ а́дова не одолі́ють єй; | And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. |

| і дам ті ключі́ Ца́рства Небе́снаго; і є́же а́ще св'я́жеши на землі́, бу́деть св'я́зано на небесі́х; і є́же а́ще разріши́ши на землі́, бу́деть разріше́но на небесі́х. | And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. |

| (Зач. 68) Тогда́ запрети́ Ісу́с ученико́м Свої́м, да ні кому́же реку́ть, я́ко Сей єсть Ісу́с Христо́с. | Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. |

| Отто́лі нача́т Ісу́с ска́зовати ученико́м Свої́м, я́ко подоба́єть Єму́ іти́ во Ієрусали́м і мно́го пострада́ти от ста́рець, і архієре́й, і кни́жник, і убіє́ну би́ти, і в тре́тій день воста́ти. | From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up. |

| І поє́м Єго́ Петр, нача́т преріца́ти Єму́ глаго́ля: милосе́рд Ти, Го́споди; не і́мать би́ти Тебі́ сіє́. | And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall never be unto thee. |

| Он же обра́щся рече́ Петро́ві: іди́ за Мно́ю, сатано́, собла́зн Мі єси́; я́ко не ми́слиши я́же (суть) Бо́жия, но челові́чеськая. | But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men. |

| (Зач. 69) Тогда́ Ісу́с рече́ ученико́м Свої́м: а́ще кто хо́щеть по Мні іти́, да отве́ржеться себе́ і во́зьметь крест свой і по Мні гряде́ть; | Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. |

| І́же бо а́ще хо́щеть ду́шу свою́ спасти́, погуби́ть ю; і і́же а́ще погуби́ть ду́шу свою́ Мене́ ра́ди, обря́щеть ю; | For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. |

| Ка́я бо по́льза челові́ку, а́ще мир весь приобря́щеть, ду́шу же свою́ отщети́ть? Іли́ что дасть челові́к ізмі́ну за ду́шу свою́? | For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? or what shall a man give in exchange for his life? |

| прийти́ бо і́мать Син Челові́чеський во сла́ві Отця́ Своєго́ со а́нгели Свої́ми, і тогда́ возда́сть кому́ждо по дія́нієм єго́; | For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds. |

| амі́нь глаго́лю вам, (я́ко) суть ні́ції от зді стоя́щих, і́же не і́муть вкуси́ти сме́рти, до́ндеже ви́дять Си́на Челові́чеськаго гряду́ща во Ца́рствії Своє́м. | Verily I say unto you, There are some standing here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. |
