| (Зач. 44) В то вре́м'я і́де Ісу́с в субо́ти сквозі́ сі́янія; ученици́ же Єго́ взалка́ша і нача́ша востерза́ти кла́си і я́сти. | At that season Jesus went on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples were hungry and began to pluck ears and to eat. |

| Фарисе́є же ви́дівше рі́ша Єму́: се ученици́ Твої́ творя́ть, єго́же не досто́їть твори́ти в субо́ту. | But the Pharisees, when they saw it, said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which it is not lawful to do upon the sabbath. |

| Он же рече́ їм: ні́сте ли чли, что сотвори́ Дави́д, єгда́ взалка́ сам і су́щії с ним? | But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, he, and they that were with him; |
|

|
| ка́ко вни́де в храм Бо́жий і хлі́би предложе́нія сніде́, ї́хже не досто́йно бі єму́ я́сти, ні су́щим с ним, то́кмо ієре́єм єди́ним? | how he entered into the house of God, and ate the showbread, which it was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them that were with him, but only for the priests? |

| іли́ ні́сте чли в зако́ні, я́ко в субо́ти свяще́нници в це́ркві субо́ти скверня́ть і непови́нні суть? | Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath day the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are guiltless? |

|
| глаго́лю же вам, я́ко це́ркве бо́лі єсть зді; | But I say unto you, that something greater than the temple is here. |
|

|
| а́ще ли би́сте ві́дали, что єсть: ми́лости хощу́, а не же́ртви, ніколи́же у́бо би́сте осужда́ли непови́нних; | But if ye had known what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. |
|

|
| госпо́дь бо єсть і субо́ти Син Челові́чеський. | For the Son of man is lord of the sabbath. |
|

|
| (Зач. 45) І преше́д отту́ду, при́йде на со́нмище їх. | And he departed thence, and went into their synagogue: |

|
| І се челові́к бі ту, ру́ку іми́й су́ху. І вопроси́ша Єго́, глаго́люще: а́ще досто́їть в субо́ти ціли́ти? Да на Него́ возглаго́лють. | and behold, there was a man having his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? that they might accuse him. |

| Он же рече́ їм: кто єсть от вас челові́к, і́же і́мать овча́ єди́но, і а́ще впаде́ть сіє́ в субо́ти в я́му, не і́меть ли є і і́зметь? | And he said unto them, What man shall there be of you, that shall have one sheep, and if this fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? |

| кольми́ у́бо лу́чші єсть челові́к овча́те? Ті́мже досто́їть в субо́ти добро́ твори́ти. | How much then is a man of more value than a sheep! Wherefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath day. |

| Тогда́ глаго́ла челові́ку: простри́ ру́ку твою́. І простре́; і утверди́ся ціла́, я́ко друга́я. | Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, as the other. |
|

| (Зач. 46) Фарисе́є же ше́дше сові́т сотвори́ша на Него́, ка́ко Єго́ погуб'я́ть. Ісу́с же разумі́в оти́де отту́ду. | But the Pharisees went out, and took counsel against him, how they might destroy him. |
|

|
| (Зач.) І по Нем ідо́ша наро́ди мно́зі, і ісціли́ їх всіх; | And Jesus perceiving it withdrew from thence: and great multitudes followed him; and he healed them all, |
|

|
| і запрети́ їм, да не я́ві Єго́ творя́ть; | and charged them that they should not make him known: |
|

|
| я́ко да сбу́деться рече́нноє Іса́єм проро́ком, глаго́лющим: | that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, |
|

|
| се О́трок Мой, Єго́же ізво́лих, возлю́бленний Мой, На́ньже благоволи́ душа́ Моя́; положу́ Дух Мой на Нем, і суд язи́ком возвісти́ть; | Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles. |

| не пререче́ть, ні возопіє́ть, ніже́ усли́шить кто на распу́тіїх гла́са Єго́; | He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall anyone hear his voice in the streets. |
|

|
| тро́сти сокруше́нни не прело́мить і ле́на вне́мшася не угаси́ть, до́ндеже ізведе́ть в побі́ду суд; | A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory. |
|

|
| і на і́м'я Єго́ язи́ци упова́ти і́муть. | And in his name shall the Gentiles hope. |
|

|
| Тогда́ приведо́ша к Нему́ бісну́ющася слі́па і ні́ма; і ісціли́ єго́, я́ко сліпо́му і німо́му глаго́лати і гля́дати. | Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb man both spake and saw. |

| І дивля́хуся всі наро́ди глаго́люще: єда́ Сей єсть (Христо́с) Син Дави́дов? | And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, Can this be the son of David? |

|
| Фарисе́є же сли́шавше рі́ша: Сей не ізго́нить бі́си, то́кмо о Веєльзеву́лі, кня́зі бісо́встім. | But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This man doth not cast out demons, but by Beelzebul the prince of demons. |
|

|
| Ві́дий же Ісу́с ми́слі їх, рече́ їм: вся́коє ца́рство разді́льшеєся на ся запусті́єть, і всяк град іли́ дом разділи́вийся на ся не ста́неть. | And knowing their thoughts Jesus said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: |

| І а́ще сатана́ сатану́ ізго́нить, на ся разділи́лся єсть; ка́ко у́бо ста́неть ца́рство єго́? | and if Satan casteth out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand? |

|
| І а́ще Аз о Веєльзеву́лі ізгоню́ бі́си, си́нове ва́ші о ком ізго́нять? Сего́ ра́ди ті́ї вам бу́дуть судії́. | And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. |

| А́ще ли же Аз о Ду́сі Бо́жиї ізгоню́ бі́си, у́бо пости́же на вас Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє. | But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. |
|

| Іли́ ка́ко мо́жеть кто вни́ти в дом крі́пкаго і сосу́ди єго́ расхи́тити, а́ще не пе́рвіє св'я́жеть крі́пкаго, і тогда́ дом єго́ расхи́тить? | Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he may plunder his house. |

| (Зач. 47) І́же ність со Мно́ю, на м'я єсть; і і́же не собира́єть со Мно́ю, расточа́єть. | He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. |

| Сего́ ра́ди глаго́лю вам: всяк гріх і хула́ отпу́ститься челові́ком; а я́же на Ду́ха хула́ не отпу́ститься челові́ком; | Therefore I say unto you, Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men. |

| і і́же а́ще рече́ть сло́во на Си́на Челові́чеськаго, отпу́ститься єму́; а і́же рече́ть на Ду́ха Свята́го, не отпу́ститься єму́ ні в сей вік, ні в бу́дущий. | And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in the present world, nor in that which is to come. |

| Іли́ сотворите́ дре́во добро́ і плод єго́ добр; іли́ сотворите́ дре́во зло і плод єго́ зол; от плода́ бо дре́во позна́но бу́деть. | Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit. |

| Порожде́нія єхи́днова, ка́ко мо́жете добро́ глаго́лати, зли су́ще? От ізби́тка бо се́рдця уста́ глаго́лють. | Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. |

| Благи́й челові́к от блага́го сокро́вища ізно́сить блага́я; і лука́вий челові́к от лука́ваго сокро́вища ізно́сить лука́вая. | The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. |

| Глаго́лю же вам, я́ко вся́ко сло́во пра́здноє, є́же а́ще реку́ть челові́ци, воздадя́ть о нем сло́во в день су́дний; | And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. |

| от слове́с бо свої́х оправди́шися і от слове́с свої́х осу́дишися. | For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. |
|

| (Зач. 48) Тогда́ отвіща́ша ні́ції от кни́жник і фарисе́й, глаго́люще: Учи́телю, хо́щем от Тебе́ зна́меніє ви́діти. | Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Teacher, we would see a sign from thee. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: род лука́в і прелюбоді́й зна́менія і́щеть, і зна́меніє не да́сться єму́, то́кмо зна́меніє Іо́ни проро́ка; | But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet: |

| я́коже бо бі Іо́на во чре́ві ки́тові три дні і три но́щі, та́ко бу́деть і Син Челові́чеський в се́рдці землі́ три дні і три но́щі. | for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. |

| Му́жіє Ніневі́тстії воста́нуть на суд с ро́дом сим і осу́дять єго́, я́ко пока́яшася про́повідію Іо́ниною; і се бо́лі Іо́ни зді. | The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. |

| Цари́ця ю́жськая воста́неть на суд с ро́дом сим і осу́дить ї, я́ко при́йде от коне́ць землі́ сли́шати прему́дрость Соломо́нову; і се бо́лі Соломо́на зді. | The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here. |

| Єгда́ же нечи́стий дух ізи́деть от челові́ка, прехо́дить сквозі́ безво́дная мі́ста, іщя́ поко́я, і не обріта́єть; | But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and findeth it not. |

| тогда́ рече́ть: возвращу́ся в дом мой, отню́дуже ізидо́х. І прише́д обря́щеть пра́зден, помете́н і укра́шен; | Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. |
|

|
| тогда́ і́деть і по́йметь с собо́ю седьм і́них духо́в люті́йших себе́, і вше́дше живу́ть ту; і бу́дуть послі́дняя челові́ку тому́ го́рша пе́рвих. Та́ко бу́деть і ро́ду сему́ лука́вому. | Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this evil generation. |

| (Зач. 49) Єще́ же Єму́ глаго́лющу к наро́дом, се, Ма́ти (Єго́) і бра́тія Єго́ стоя́ху вні, і́щуще глаго́лати Єму́. | And while he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him. |

| Рече́ же ні́кий Єму́: се Ма́ти Твоя́ і бра́тія Твоя́ вні стоя́ть, хотя́ще глаго́лати Тебі́. | And one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee. |
|

|
| Он же отвіща́в рече́ ко глаго́лющему Єму́: кто єсть Ма́ти Моя́, і кто суть бра́тія Моя́? | But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? |
|

| І просте́р ру́ку Свою́ на ученики́ Своя́, рече́: се Ма́ти Моя́ і бра́тія Моя́; | And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren! |
|

| і́же бо а́ще сотвори́ть во́лю Отця́ Моєго́, І́же єсть на небесі́х, той брат Мой, і сестра́, і ма́ти (Мі) єсть. | For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. |
