| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |
|

| оголоси синам Ізраїлевим і скажи їм: Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, I am the Lord your God. |
|

|

|
| За ділами землі Єгипетської, у якій ви жили, не чиніть, і за ділами землі Ханаанської, у яку Я веду вас, не чиніть, і за встановленнями їх не ходіть: | Ye shall not do according to the devices of Egypt, in which ye dwelt: and according to the devices of the land of Chanaan, into which I bring you, ye shall not do; and ye shall not walk in their ordinances. |

| Мої закони виконуйте і Моїх постанов дотримуйтеся, чинячи за ними. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | Ye shall observe my judgments, and shall keep my ordinances, and shall walk in them: I am the Lord your God. |

| Додержуйтесь постанов Моїх і законів Моїх, виконуючи які людина буде живою. Я Господь [Бог ваш]. | So ye shall keep all my ordinances, and all my judgments, and do them; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord your God. |
|

| Ніхто ні до якої родички за плоттю не повинен наближатися з тим, щоб відкрити наготу. Я Господь. | No man shall draw nigh to any of his near kindred to uncover their nakedness; I am the Lord. |
|

| Наготи батька твого і наготи матері твоєї не відкривай: вона мати твоя, не відкривай наготи її. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, for she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. |
|

|
| Наготи дружини батька твого не відкривай: це нагота батька твого. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's wife; it is thy father's nakedness. |
|

|
| Наготи сестри твоєї, дочки батька твого або дочки матері твоєї, народженої в домі або поза домом, не відкривай наготи їх. | The nakedness of thy sister by thy father or by thy mother, born at home or abroad, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. |
|

| Наготи дочки сина твого або дочки дочки твоєї, не відкривай наготи їх, тому що вони твоя нагота. | The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or thy daughter's daughter, their nakedness thou shalt not uncover; because it is thy nakedness. |

| Наготи дочки дружини батька твого, яка народилася від батька твого, вона сестра твоя [за батьком], не відкривай наготи її. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of the daughter of thy father's wife; she is thy sister by the same father: thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. |

| Наготи сестри батька твого не відкривай, вона єдинокровна батькові твоєму. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister, for she is near akin to thy father. |
|

|
| Наготи сестри матері твоєї не відкривай, бо вона єдинокровна матері твоїй. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, for she is near akin to thy mother. |
|

|
| Наготи брата батька твого не відкривай і до дружини його не наближайся: вона тітка твоя. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, and thou shalt not go in to his wife; for she is thy relation. |
|

|
| Наготи невістки твоєї не відкривай: вона дружина сина твого, не відкривай наготи її. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law, for she is thy son's wife, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. |
|

| Наготи дружини брата твого не відкривай, це нагота брата твого. | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness. |
|

|
| Наготи дружини і дочки її не відкривай; дочки сина її і дочки дочки її не бери, щоб відкрити наготу їхню, вони єдинокровні її; це беззаконня. | The nakedness of a woman and her daughter shalt thou not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter, shalt thou not take, to uncover their nakedness, for they are thy kinswomen: it is impiety. |

| Не бери дружини разом із сестрою її, щоб зробити її суперницею, щоб відкрити наготу її при ній, за життя її. | Thou shalt not take a wife in addition to her sister, as a rival, to uncover her nakedness in opposition to her, while she is yet living. |
|

|
| І до дружини під час очищення нечистот її не наближайся, щоб відкрити наготу її. | And thou shalt not go in to a woman under separation for her uncleanness, to uncover her nakedness. |
|

|
| І з дружиною ближнього твого не лягай, щоб вилити сíм’я і осквернитися з нею. | And thou shalt not lie with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her. |
|

|
| Із дітей твоїх не віддавай на служіння Молоху і не знечещуй імені Бога твого. Я Господь. | And thou shalt not give of thy seed to serve a ruler; and thou shalt not profane my holy name; I am the Lord. |
|

|
| Не лягай з чоловіком як з жінкою: це мерзенність. | And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination. |
|

|
| І ні з якою худобою не лягай, щоб вилити [сíм’я] і осквернитися від цього; і жінка не повинна ставати перед худобою для злучення з нею: це мерзенно. | Neither shalt thou lie with any quadruped for copulation, to be polluted with it: neither shall a woman present herself before any quadruped to have connexion with it; for it is an abomination. |

| Не опоганюйте себе нічим цим, тому що всім цим опоганили себе народи, яких Я проганяю від вас: | Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for in all these things the nations are defiled, which I drive out before you, |

| і опоганилася земля, і Я споглянув на беззаконня її, і звергла з себе земля тих, що жили на ній. | and the land is polluted; and I have recompensed their iniquity to them because of it, and the land is aggrieved with them that dwell upon it. |

| А ви дотримуйтеся постанов Моїх і законів Моїх і не робіть усіх цих гидот, ні тубілець, ні прибулець, що живе між вами, | And ye shall keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and ye shall do none of these abominations; neither the native, nor the stranger that joins himself with you: |

| тому що всі ці мерзоти робили люди цієї землі, що перед вами, і опоганилася земля; | (for all these abominations the men of the land did who were before you, and the land was defiled,) |
|

|
| щоб і вас не звергла із себе земля, коли ви станете опоганювати її, як вона звергла народи, що були раніше вас; | and lest the land be aggrieved with you in your polluting it, as it was aggrieved with the nations before you. |
|

|
| бо якщо хто буде робити усі ці мерзоти, то душі, які роблять це, знищені будуть з народу свого. | For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, the souls that do them shall be destroyed from among their people. |
|

30
|
| Отже, дотримуйтеся повелінь Моїх, щоб не чинити за гидотними звичаями, за якими чинили раніше за вас, і щоб не опоганюватися ними. Я Господь, Бог ваш. | And ye shall keep mine ordinances, that ye may not do any of the abominable practices, which have taken place before your time: and ye shall not be polluted in them; for I am the Lord your God. |
