| І сказав Господь Мойсеєві, говорячи: | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, |
|

| скажи це синам Ізраїлевим: хто із синів Ізраїлевих і з прибульців, що живуть між ізраїльтянами, дасть дітей своїх Молоху, той нехай буде відданий на смерть: народ землі нехай поб’є його камінням; | Thou shalt also say to the children of Israel, If there shall be any of the children of Israel, or of those who have become proselytes in Israel, who shall give of his seed to Moloch, let him be surely put to death; the nation upon the land shall stone him with stones. |

| і Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і знищу її з народу її за те, що вона дала дітей своїх Молохові, щоб осквернити святилище Моє і зганьбити святе ім’я Моє; | And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given of his seed to Moloch, to defile my sanctuary, and profane the name of them that are consecrated to me. |

| і якщо народ землі не зверне очей своїх на людину ту, коли вона дасть дітей своїх Молохові, і не умертвить її, | And if the natives of the land should in anywise overlook that man in giving of his seed to Moloch, so as not to put him to death; |

| то Я зверну лице Моє на людину ту і на рід її і винищу його з народу його, і всіх, хто блудить слідами її, щоб ходити блудно услід Молохові. | then will I set my face against that man and his family, and I will destroy him, and all who have been of one mind with him, so that he should go a whoring to the princes, from their people. |

| І якщо яка душа звернеться до тих, хто викликає мертвих і до чаклунів, щоб блудно ходити услід їм, то Я зверну лице Моє на ту душу і знищу її з народу її. | And the soul that shall follow those who have in them divining spirits, or enchanters, so as to go a whoring after them; I will set my face against that soul, and will destroy it from among its people. |

| Освячуйте себе і будьте святими, бо Я Господь, Бог ваш, [святий]. | And ye shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. |

| Дотримуйтеся постанов Моїх і виконуйте їх, бо Я Господь, що освячує вас. | And ye shall observe my ordinances, and do them: I am the Lord that sanctifies you. |
|

|
| Хто буде лихословити батька свого або матір свою, той нехай буде відданий на смерть; батька свого і матір свою він лихословив: кров його на ньому. | Every man who shall speak evil of his father or of his mother, let him die the death; has he spoken evil of his father or his mother? he shall be guilty. |
|

|
| Якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з жінкою одруженою, якщо хто буде перелюбствувати з дружиною ближнього свого, — нехай будуть віддані на смерть і перелюбник і перелюбниця. | Whatever man shall commit adultery with the wife of a man, or whoever shall commit adultery with the wife of his neighbour, let them die the death, the adulterer and the adulteress. |

| Хто ляже з дружиною батька свого, той відкрив наготу батька свого: обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And if any one should lie with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness: let them both die the death, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто ляже з невісткою своєю, то обоє вони нехай будуть віддані на смерть: мерзотність зробили вони, кров їхня на них. | And if any one should lie with his daughter-in-law, let them both be put to death; for they have wrought impiety, they are guilty. |
|

| Якщо хто ляже з чоловіком, як з жінкою, то обоє вони зробили мерзотність: нехай будуть віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And whoever shall lie with a male as with a woman, they have both wrought abomination; let them die the death, they are guilty. |
|

| Якщо хто візьме собі дружину і матір її: це беззаконня; на вогні слід спалити його і їх, щоб не було беззаконня між вами. | Whosoever shall take a woman and her mother, it is iniquity: they shall burn him and them with fire; so there shall not be iniquity among you. |

|
| Хто змішається з худобою, того віддати на смерть, і худобу вбийте. | And whosoever shall lie with a beast, let him die the death; and ye shall kill the beast. |
|

|
| Якщо жінка піде до якої-небудь худоби, щоб злучитися з нею, то убий жінку і худобу: нехай будуть вони віддані на смерть, кров їхня на них. | And whatever woman shall approach any beast, so as to have connexion with it, ye shall kill the woman and the beast: let them die the death, they are guilty. |

| Якщо хто візьме сестру свою, дочку батька свого або дочку матері своєї, і побачить наготу її, і вона побачить наготу його: це сором, нехай будуть вони знищені перед очима синів народу свого; він відкрив наготу сестри своєї: гріх свій понесе він. | Whosoever shall take his sister by his father or by his mother, and shall see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness, it is a reproach: they shall be destroyed before the children of their family; he has uncovered his sister's nakedness, they shall bear their sin. |

| Якщо хто ляже з дружиною під час хвороби кровоочищення і відкриє наготу її, то він відкрив течу її, і вона відкрила течу крови своєї: обоє вони нехай будуть знищені з народу свого. | And whatever man shall lie with a woman that is set apart for a flux, and shall uncover her nakedness, he has uncovered her fountain, and she has uncovered the flux of her blood: they shall both be destroyed from among their generation. |

| Наготи сестри матері твоєї і сестри батька твого не відкривай, бо такий оголює плоть свою: гріх свій понесуть вони. | And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister, or of the sister of thy mother; for that man has uncovered the nakedness of one near akin: they shall bear their iniquity. |

| Хто ляже з тіткою своєю, той відкрив наготу дядька свого; гріх свій понесуть вони, бездітними помруть. | Whosoever shall lie with his near kinswoman, has uncovered the nakedness of one near akin to him: they shall die childless. |
|

| Якщо хто візьме дружину брата свого: це огидно; він відкрив наготу брата свого, бездітними будуть вони. | Whoever shall take his brother's wife, it is uncleanness; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall die childless. |
|

| Дотримуйтесь усіх уставів Моїх і всіх законів Моїх і виконуйте їх, — і не звергне вас із себе земля, в яку Я веду вас жити. | And keep ye all my ordinances, and my judgments; and ye shall do them, and the land shall not be aggrieved with you, into which I bring you to dwell upon it. |

| Не чиніть за звичаями народу, який Я проганяю від вас; тому що вони все це робили, і Я обурився на них, | And walk ye not in the customs of the nations which I drive out from before you; for they have done all these things, and I have abhorred them: |

| і сказав Я вам: ви володарюйте землею їхньою, і вам віддаю у спадщину землю, в якій тече молоко і мед. Я Господь, Бог ваш, Який відділив вас від усіх народів. | and I said to you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you for a possession, even a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, who have separated you from all people. |

| Відрізняйте худобу чисту від нечистої і птаха чистого від нечистого і не оскверняйте душ ваших худобою і птахами і всім, що плазує по землі, що визначив Я, як нечисте. | And ye shall make a distinction between the clean and the unclean cattle, and between clean and unclean birds; and ye shall not defile your souls with cattle, or with birds, or with any creeping things of the earth, which I have separated for you by reason of uncleanness. |

| Будьте переді Мною святі, бо Я святий Господь [Бог ваш], і Я відокремив вас від народів, щоб ви були Мої. | And ye shall be holy to me; because I the Lord your God am holy, who separated you from all nations, to be mine. |
|

| Чоловік чи жінка, якщо будуть вони викликати мертвих або ворожити, нехай будуть віддані на смерть: камінням слід побити їх, кров їхня на них. | And as for a man or woman whosoever of them shall have in them a divining spirit, or be an enchanter, let them both die the death: ye shall stone them with stones, they are guilty. |
