1
The Proverbs of Solomon son of David, who reigned in Israel; При6тчи соломHна сhна давjдова, и4же цaрствова во ї}ли,
2
2
to know wisdom and instruction, and to perceive words of understanding; познaти премyдрость и3 наказaніе и3 ўразумёти словесA мyдрости,
3
3
to receive also hard sayings, and to understand true justice, and how to direct judgment; пріsти же и3зви6тіz словeсъ и3 разрэшє1ніz гадaній, ўразумёти же прaвду и4стинную и3 сyдъ и3справлsти:
4
4
that he might give subtlety to the simple, and to the young man discernment and understanding. да дaстъ неѕлHбивымъ ковaрство, nтрочaти же ю4ну чyвство же и3 смhслъ.
5
5
For by the hearing of these a wise man will be wiser, and the man of understanding will gain direction;
6
6
and will understand a parable, and a dark speech; the sayings of the wise also, and riddles.
7
7
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and there is good understanding to all that practise it: and piety toward God is the beginning of discernment; but the ungodly will set at nought wisdom and instruction. Начaло премyдрости стрaхъ гDень, рaзумъ же блaгъ всBмъ творsщымъ є3го2: бlгочeстіе же въ бGа начaло чyвства, премyдрость же и3 наказaніе нечести1віи ўничижaтъ.
8
8
Hear, my son, the instruction of thy father, and reject not the rules of thy mother. Слhши, сhне, наказaніе nтцA твоегw2 и3 не tри1ни завётwвъ мaтере твоеS:
9
9
For thou shalt receive for thine head a crown of graces, and a chain of gold round thy neck.
10
10
My son, let not ungodly men lead thee astray, neither consent thou to them.
11
11
If they should exhort thee, saying, Come with us, partake in blood, and let us unjustly hide the just man in the earth: ѓще пом0лzтъ тS, глаг0люще: и3ди2 съ нaми, приwбщи1сz кр0ве, скрhемъ же въ зeмлю мyжа првdна непрaведнw:
12
12
and let us swallow him alive, as Hades would, and remove the memorial of him from the earth: пожрeмъ же є3го2 ћкоже ѓдъ жи1ва, и3 в0змемъ пaмzть є3гw2 t земли2,
13
13
let us seize on his valuable property, and let us fill our houses with spoils: стzжaніе є3гw2 многоцённое пріи1мемъ, и3сп0лнимъ же д0мы нaшz корhстей:
14
14
but do thou cast in thy lot with us, and let us all provide a common purse, and let us have one pouch: жрeбій же тв0й положи2 съ нaми: џбще же влагaлище стsжемъ вси2, и3 мэшeцъ є3ди1нъ да бyдетъ всBмъ нaмъ.
15
15
go not in the way with them, but turn aside thy foot from their paths: Не и3ди2 въ пyть съ ни1ми: ўклони1 же н0гу твою2 t стeзь и4хъ:
17
17
for nets are not without cause spread for birds.
18
18
For they that are concerned in murder store up evils for themselves; and the overthrow of transgressors is evil.
19
19
These are the ways of all that perform lawless deeds; for by ungodliness they destroy their own life.
20
20
Wisdom sings aloud in passages, and in the broad places speaks boldly.
21
21
And she makes proclamation on the top of the walls, and sits by the gates of princes; and at the gates of the city boldly says, на крaехъ же стёнъ проповёдуетсz, ў врaтъ же си1льныхъ присэди1тъ, во вратёхъ же грaда дерзaющи глаг0летъ:
22
22
So long as the simple cleave to justice, they shall not be ashamed: but the foolish being lovers of haughtiness, having become ungodly have hated knowledge, and are become subject to reproofs. є3ли1ко ќбw врeмz неѕл0бивіи держaтсz прaвды, не постыдsтсz: безyмніи же досaды сyще желaтеліе, нечести1віи бhвше, возненави1дэша чyвство
23
23
Behold, I will bring forth to you the utterance of my breath, and I will instruct you in my speech. СE, предложY вaмъ моегw2 дыхaніz рэчeніе, научy же вaсъ моемY словеси2.
24
24
Since I called, and ye did not hearken; and I spoke at length, and ye gave no heed; Понeже звaхъ, и3 не послyшасте, и3 простирaхъ словесA, и3 не внимaсте,
25
25
but ye set at nought my counsels, and disregarded my reproofs; но tметaсте мо‰ совёты и3 мои6мъ њбличeніємъ не внимaсте:
26
26
therefore I also will laugh at your destruction; and I will rejoice against you when ruin comes upon you: u5бо и3 ѓзъ вaшей поги1бели посмэю1сz, порaдуюсz же, є3гдA пріи1детъ вaмъ пaгуба,
27
27
yea when dismay suddenly comes upon you, and your overthrow shall arrive like a tempest; and when tribulation and distress shall come upon you, or when ruin shall come upon you. и3 є3гдA пріи1детъ на вы2 внезaпу мzтeжъ, низвращeніе же под0бно бyри пріи1детъ, и3ли2 є3гдA пріи1детъ вaмъ печaль и3 градоразорeніе, и3ли2 є3гдA нaйдетъ на вы2 пaгуба.
28
28
For it shall be that when ye call upon me, I will not hearken to you: wicked men shall seek me, but shall not find me. Бyдетъ бо є3гдA призовeте мS, ѓзъ же не послyшаю вaсъ: взhщутъ менE ѕлjи и3 не њбрsщутъ.
29
29
For they hated wisdom, and did not choose the word of the Lord: Возненави1дэша бо премyдрость, словесe же гDнz не пріsша:
30
30
neither would they attend to my counsels, but derided my reproofs.
31
31
Therefore shall they eat the fruits of their own way, and shall be filled with their own ungodliness.
32
32
For because they wronged the simple, they shall be slain; and an inquisition shall ruin the ungodly.
33
33
But he that hearkens to me shall dwell in confidence, and shall rest securely from all evil. Менe же слyшаzй всели1тсz на ўповaніи и3 почjетъ без8 стрaха t всsкагw ѕлA.
