| Ось благословення, яким Мойсей, людина Божа, благословив синів Ізраїлевих перед смертю своєю. | And this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. |

| Він сказав: Господь прийшов від Синая, відкрився їм від Сеїра, засяяв від гори Фарана і йшов з безліччю святих; праворуч Нього вогонь закону. | And he said, The Lord is come from Sina, and has appeared from Seir to us, and has hasted out of the mount of Pharan, with the ten thousands of Cades; on his right hand were his angels with him. |

| Істинно Він любить народ [Свій]; усі святі його в руці Твоїй, і вони припали до ніг Твоїх, щоб слухати слова Твої. | And he spared his people, and all his sanctified ones are under thy hands; and they are under thee; and he received of his words |

| Закон дав нам Мойсей, насліддя громади Якова. | the law which Moses charged us, an inheritance to the assemblies of Jacob. |
|

|
| І він був царем Ізраїля, коли збиралися глави народу разом з колінами Ізраїлевими. | And he shall be prince with the beloved one, when the princes of the people are gathered together with the tribes of Israel. |
|

|
| Нехай живе Рувим і нехай не вмирає, і [Симеон] нехай не буде нечисленним! | Let Ruben live, and not die; and let him be many in number. |
|

|
| Але про Іуду сказав це: почуй, Господи, голос Іуди і приведи його до народу його; руками своїми нехай захистить він себе, і Ти будь помічником проти ворогів його. | And this is the blessing of Juda; Hear, Lord, the voice of Juda, and do thou visit his people: his hands shall contend for him, and thou shalt be a help from his enemies. |

| І про Левія сказав: тумим Твій і урим Твій на святому мужі Твоєму, якого Ти випробував у Массі, з яким Ти сперечався при водах Мериви, | And to Levi he said, Give to Levi his manifestations, and his truth to the holy man, whom they tempted in the temptation; they reviled him at the water of strife. |

| який говорить про батька свого і матір свою: «я на них не дивлюся», і братів своїх не визнає, і синів своїх не знає; бо вони, левити, слова Твої зберігають і завіту Твого дотримують, | Who says to his father and mother, I have not seen thee; and he knew not his brethren, and he refused to know his sons: he kept thine oracles, and observed thy covenant. |

| навчають законів Твоїх Якова і заповідей Твоїх Ізраїля, покладають куріння перед лицем Твоїм і всепалення на жертовник Твій; | They shall declare thine ordinances to Jacob, and thy law to Israel: they shall place incense in the time of thy wrath continually upon thine altar. |

| благослови, Господи, силу його і до діл рук його благоволи, врази стегна тих, що повстають на нього і ненавидять його, щоб вони не могли стояти. | Bless, Lord, his strength, and accept the works of his hands; break the loins of his enemies that have risen up against him, and let not them that hate him rise up. |

| Про Веніаміна сказав: улюблений Господом живе у Нього безпечно, [Бог] покриває його кожного дня, і він спочиває між раменами Його. | And to Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in confidence, and God overshadows him always, and he rested between his shoulders. |

| Про Йосифа сказав: нехай благословить Господь землю його жаданими дарами неба, росою і дарами безодні, яка лежить внизу, | And to Joseph he said, His land is of the blessing of the Lord, of the seasons of sky and dew, and of the deeps of wells below, |

| жаданими плодами від сонця і жаданими плодами місяця, | and of the fruits of the changes of the sun in season, and of the produce of the months, |
|

|
| чудовими плодами гір древніх і жаданими дарами пагорбів вічних, | from the top of the ancient mountains, and from the top of the everlasting hills, |
|

|
| і жаданими дарами землі і того, що наповнює її; благословення Того, Хто явився у терновому кущі, нехай прийде на голову Йосифа і на тім’я найкращого з братів своїх; | and of the fulness of the land in season: and let the things pleasing to him that dwelt in the bush come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of him who was glorified above his brethren. |

| міцність його як первородного тельця, і роги його, як роги буйвола; ними колотиме він народи усі до країв землі: це десятки тисяч Єфремові, це тисячі Манассіїні. | His beauty is as the firstling of his bull, his horns are the horns of a unicorn; with them he shall thrust the nations at once, even from the end of the earth: these are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasse. |

| Про Завулона сказав: веселися, Завулоне, в путях твоїх, і Іссахаре, в наметах твоїх; | And to Zabulon he said, Rejoice, Zabulon, in thy going out, and Issachar in his tents. |

| скликають вони народ на гору, там заколюють законні жертви, бо вони годуються багатством моря і скарбами, прихованими в піску. | They shall utterly destroy the nations, and ye shall call men there, and there offer the sacrifice of righteousness; for the wealth of the sea shall suckle thee, and so shall the marts of them that dwell by the sea-coast. |

| Про Гада сказав: благословенний, той, хто розповсюдив Гада, він спочиває як лев і розтрощує і м’язи і голову; | And to Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlarges Gad: as a lion he rested, having broken the arm and the ruler. |

| він обрав собі початок землі, там ушанований наділом від законодавця, і прийшов із главами народу, і виконав правду Господа і суди з Ізраїлем. | And he saw his first-fruits, that there the land of the princes gathered with the chiefs of the people was divided; the Lord wrought righteousness, and his judgment with Israel. |

| Про Дана сказав: Дан молодий лев, який вибігає з Васана. | And to Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, and shall leap out of Basan. |

| Про Неффалима сказав: Неффалим насичений благоволінням і сповнений благословення Господа; море і південь у володінні його. | And to Nephthali he said, Nephthali has the fulness of good things; and let him be filled with blessing from the Lord: he shall inherit the west and the south. |
|

| Про Асира сказав: благословенний між синами Асир, він буде любимим братами своїми, і занурить у єлей ногу свою; | And to Aser he said, Aser is blessed with children; and he shall be acceptable to his brethren: he shall dip his foot in oil. |
|

|
| залізо і мідь — запори твої; як дні твої, буде примножуватися багатство твоє. | His sandal shall be iron and brass; as thy days, so shall be thy strength. |
|

|
| Немає подібного до Бога Ізраїлевого, Який по небесах принісся на допомогу тобі й у славі Своїй на хмарах; | There is not any such as the God of the beloved; he who rides upon the heaven is thy helper, and the magnificent One of the firmament. |
|

|
| притулок [твій] Бог превічний, і [ти] на раменах вічних; Він прожене ворогів від лиця твого і скаже: знищуй! | And the rule of God shall protect thee, and that under the strength of the everlasting arms; and he shall cast forth the enemy from before thy face, saying, Perish. |
|

|
| Ізраїль живе безпечно, один; око Якова бачить перед собою землю, повну хліба і вина, і небеса його викраплюють росу. | And Israel shall dwell in confidence alone on the land of Jacob, with corn and wine; and the sky shall be misty with dew upon thee. |
|

| Блаженний ти, Ізраїлю! хто подібний до тебе, народе, що охороняється Господом, Який є щитом, що охороняє тебе, і мечем слави твоєї? Вороги твої раболіпствують перед тобою, і ти зневажаєш гордість їх. | Blessed art thou, O Israel; who is like to thee, O people saved by the Lord? thy helper shall hold his shield over thee, and his sword is thy boast; and thine enemies shall speak falsely to thee, and thou shalt tread upon their neck. |
