Горе пастирям, які гублять і розганяють овець пастви Моєї! — говорить Господь.
|
Woe to the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of their pasture!
|

|
Тому так говорить Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, до пастирів, які пасуть народ Мій: ви розсіяли овець Моїх, і розігнали їх, і не наглядали за ними; ось, Я покараю вас за злі діяння ваші, — говорить Господь.
|
Therefore thus saith the Lord against them that tend my people; Ye have scattered my sheep, and driven them out, and ye have not visited them: behold, I will take vengeance upon you according to your evil practices.
|

|
І зберу залишок стада Мого з усіх країн, куди Я вигнав їх, і поверну їх у двори їхні; і будуть плодитися і розмножуватися.
|
And I will gather in the remnant of my people in every land, whither I have driven them out, and will set them in their pasture; and they shall increase and be multiplied.
|

|
І поставлю над ними пастирів, які будуть пасти їх, і вони вже не будуть боятися і лякатися, і не будуть губитися, — говорить Господь.
|
And I will raise up shepherds to them, who shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be alarmed, saith the Lord.
|
|

|
Ось, настають дні, — говорить Господь, — і восставлю Давиду Паросток праведний, і воцариться Цар, і буде чинити мудро, і буде робити суд і правду на землі.
|
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous branch, and a king shall reign and understand, and shall execute judgment and righteousness on the earth.
|

|
У дні Його Іуда спасеться й Ізраїль буде жити безпечно; і ось ім’я Його, яким будуть називати Його: «Господь виправдання наше!»
|
In his days both Juda shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell securely: and this is his name, which the Lord shall call him, Josedec among the prophets.
|

|
Тому, ось настають дні, — говорить Господь, — коли вже не будуть говорити: «живий Господь, Який вивів синів Ізраїлевих із землі Єгипетської»,
|
My heart is broken within me; all my bones are shaken: I am become as a broken-down man, and as a man overcome with wine, because of the Lord, and because of the excellence of his glory.

|
але: «живий Господь, Який вивів і Який привів плем’я дому Ізраїлевого із землі північної і з усіх земель, куди Я вигнав їх», і будуть жити на землі своїй.
|
For because of these things the land mourns; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up; and their course is become evil, and so also their strength.
|

|
Про пророків. Серце моє у мені роздирається, усі кістки мої трясуться; я — як п’яний, як людина, яку здолало вино, заради Господа і заради святих слів Його,
|
For priest and prophet are defiled; and I have seen their iniquities in my house.
|
|

|
|
тому що земля наповнена перелюбниками, тому що плаче земля від прокляття; засохли пасовища пустелі, і прагнення їх — зло, і сила їх — неправда,
|
Therefore let their way be to them slippery and dark: and they shall be tripped up and fall in it: for I will bring evils upon them, in the year of their visitation.

|
бо і пророк і священик — лицеміри; навіть у домі Моєму Я знайшов нечестя їх, — говорить Господь.
|
And in the prophets of Samaria I have seen lawless deeds; they prophesied by Baal, and led my people Israel astray.
|

|
За те шлях їх буде для них, як слизькі місця у темряві: їх штовхнуть, і вони впадуть там; бо Я наведу на них біду, в рік відвідання їх, — говорить Господь.
|
Also in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen horrible things: as they committed adultery, and walked in lies, and strengthened the hands of many, that they should not return each from his evil way: they are all become to me as Sodoma, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrha.
|

|
І у пророках Самарії Я бачив безумство; вони пророкували ім’ям Ваала, і ввели в оману народ Мій, Ізраїля.
|
Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will feed them with pain, and give them bitter water to drink: for from the prophets of Jerusalem has defilement gone forth into all the land.
|

|
Але у пророках Єрусалима бачу жахливе: вони перелюбствують і ходять у неправді, підтримують руки лиходіїв, щоб ніхто не навертався від свого нечестя; всі вони переді Мною — як Содом, і жителі його — як Гоморра.
|
Thus saith the Lord Almighty, Hearken not to the words of the prophets: for they frame a vain vision for themselves; they speak from their own heart, and not from the mouth of the Lord.

|
Тому так говорить Господь Саваоф про пророків: ось, Я нагодую їх полином і напою їх водою з жовчю, бо від пророків єрусалимських нечестя поширилося на усю землю.
|
They say to them that reject the word of the Lord, There shall be peace to you; and to all that walk after their own lusts, and to every one that walks in the error of his heart, they have said, No evil shall come upon thee.
|

|
Так говорить Господь Саваоф: не слухайте слів пророків, які пророкують вам: вони обманюють вас, розповідають мрії серця свого, а не від уст Господніх.
|
For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, and seen his word? who has hearkened, and heard?
|
|

|
|
Вони постійно говорять тим, які зневажають Мене: «Господь сказав: мир буде у вас». І всякому, хто чинить за впертістю свого серця, говорять: «не прийде на вас лихо».
|
Behold, there is an earthquake from the Lord, and anger proceeds to a convulsion, it shall come violently upon the ungodly.
|

|
Бо хто стояв у раді Господа і бачив і чув слово Його? Хто прислуховувався до слова Його і почув?
|
And the Lord's wrath shall return no more, until he have accomplished it, and until he have established it, according to the purpose of his heart: at the end of the days they shall understand it.
|
|

|
|
Ось, іде буря Господня з люттю, буря грізна, і впаде на голову нечестивих.
|
I sent not the prophets, yet they ran: neither spoke I to them, yet they prophesied.
|
|

|
|
Гнів Господа не відвернеться, доки Він не звершить і доки не виконає намірів серця Свого; у наступні дні ви ясно зрозумієте це.
|
But if they had stood in my counsel, and if they had hearkened to my words, then would they have turned my people from their evil practices.
|
|

|
|
Я не посилав пророків цих, а вони самі побігли; Я не говорив їм, а вони пророкували.
|
I am a God nigh at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off.
|
|

|
|
Якби вони стояли у Моїй раді, то оголосили б народу Моєму слова Мої і відводили б їх від злої путі їхньої і від злих діл їхніх.
|
Shall any one hide himself in secret places, and I not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
|
|

|
|
Хіба Я — Бог тільки поблизу, — говорить Господь, — а не Бог і віддалік?
|
I have heard what the prophets say, what they prophesy in my name, saying falsely, I have seen a night vision.
|
|
24
|

|
|
Чи може людина сховатися у потаємне місце, де Я не бачив би її? — говорить Господь. Чи не наповнюю Я небо і землю? — говорить Господь.
|
How long shall these things be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, when they prophesy the purposes of their own heart?
|

|
|
Я чув, що говорять пророки, Моїм ім’ям пророкують неправду. Вони говорять: «мені снилося, мені снилося».
|
who devise that men may forget my law by their dreams, which they have told every one to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot my name in the worship of Baal.
|
|

|
|
Чи довго це буде у серці пророків, які пророкують неправду, пророкують обман свого серця?
|
The prophet who has a dream, let him tell his dream; and he in whom is my word spoken to him, let him tell my word truly: what is the chaff to the corn? so are my words, saith the Lord.
|
|

|
|
Чи думають вони довести народ Мій до забуття імені Мого за допомогою снів своїх, які вони переказують один одному, як батьки їхні забули ім’я Моє через Ваала?
|
Behold, are not my words as fire? saith the Lord; and as an axe cutting the rock?
|
|

|
|
Пророк, який бачив сон, нехай і розповідає його як сон; а в якого Моє слово, той нехай говорить слово Моє вірно. Що спільного у полови з чистим зерном? — говорить Господь.
|
Behold, I am therefore against the prophets, saith the Lord God, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
|

|
Слово Моє чи не подібне до вогню, — говорить Господь, — і чи не подібне до молота, який розбиває скелю?
|
Behold, I am against the prophets that put forth prophecies of mere words, and slumber their sleep.
|
|

|
|
Тому, ось Я — на пророків, — говорить Господь, — які крадуть слова Мої один в одного.
|
Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets that prophesy false dreams, and have not told them truly, and have caused my people to err by their lies, and by their errors; yet I sent them not, and commanded them not; therefore, they shall not profit this people at all.

|
Ось, Я — на пророків, — говорить Господь, — які діють своїм язиком, а говорять: «Він сказав».
|
And if this people, or the priest, or the prophet, should ask, What is the burden of the Lord? then thou shalt say to them, Ye are the burden, and I will dash you down, saith the Lord.
|

|
Ось, Я — на пророків неправдивих снів, — говорить Господь, — які розповідають їх і вводять народ Мій в оману своїми обманами і звабою, тоді як Я не посилав їх і не повелівав їм, і вони ніякої користи не приносять народу цьому, — говорить Господь.
|
As for the prophet, and the priests, and the people, who shall say, The burden of the Lord, I will even take vengeance on that man, and on his house.
|

|
Якщо запитає у тебе народ цей, або пророк, або священик: «який тягар від Господа?», то скажи їм: «який тягар? Я покину вас, — говорить Господь».
|
Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What has the Lord answered? and, what has the Lord said?
|

|
Якщо пророк, або священик, або народ скаже: «тягар від Господа», Я покараю ту людину і дім її.
|
And do ye name no more the burden of the Lord; for his own word shall be a man's burden.
|
|

|
|
Так говоріть одне одному і брат братові: «що відповів Господь?» або: «що сказав Господь?»
|
But wherefore, say ye, has the Lord our God spoken?
|
|
36
|
38
|
|
А цього слова: «тягар від Господа», надалі не вживайте: бо тягарем буде такій людині слово її, тому що ви спотворюєте слова живого Бога, Господа Саваофа Бога нашого.
|
Therefore thus saith the Lord our God; Because ye have spoken this word, The burden of the Lord, and I sent to you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the Lord;

|
Так говори пророку: «що відповів тобі Господь?» або: «що сказав Господь?»
|
therefore, behold, I will seize, and dash down you and the city which I gave to you and your fathers.
|
|

|

|
|
А якщо ви ще будете говорити: «тягар від Господа», то так говорить Господь: за те, що ви кажете слово це: «тягар від Господа», тоді як Я послав сказати вам: «не говоріть: тягар від Господа», —
|
And I will bring upon you an everlasting reproach, and everlasting disgrace, which shall not be forgotten. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when they shall no more say, The Lord lives, who brought up the house of Israel out of the land of Egypt; but The Lord lives, who has gathered the whole seed of Israel from the north land, and from all the countries whither he had driven them out, and has restored them into their own land.

|
за те, ось, Я забуду вас зовсім і залишу вас, і місто це, яке Я дав вам і батькам вашим, відкину від лиця Мого
|
|
|
40
|
|
|
і покладу на вас ганьбу вічну й неславу вічну, які не забудуться.
|
