Глава 11	Chapter 11

1	1
І дано мені тростину, подібну до жезла, і сказано: встань і виміряй храм Божий і жертовник, і тих, що поклоняються в ньому.	And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and one said, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

А зовнішній двір храму виключи і не вимірюй його, бо він відданий язичникам: вони зневажатимуть святе місто сорок два місяці.	And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; for it hath been given unto the nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

І дам двом свідкам Моїм, і вони будуть пророкувати тисячу двісті шістдесят днів, одягнені у веретище.	And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Це два оливкових дерева і два світильники, що стоять перед Богом землі.	These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth.

І якщо хто захоче їх образити, то вогонь вийде з уст їхніх і пожере ворогів їхніх; якщо хто захоче скривдити їх, тому належить бути вбитому.	And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man desireth to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed.

Вони мають владу зачинити небо, щоб не йшов дощ на землю в дні пророкування їхнього; і мають владу над водами, перетворювати їх на кров, і вражати землю всякими недугами, коли тільки схочуть.	These have power to shut the heaven, that it rain not during the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth as often as they shall desire with every plague.

І коли вони закінчать свідчення своє, звір, що виходить з безодні, битиметься з ними, і переможе їх, і вб’є їх,	And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

і трупи їхні залишить на вулиці великого міста, яке духовно зветься Содом і Єгипет, де і Господь наш був розіп’ятий.	And their dead body lieth in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
9	9
І багато з народів і колін, і людей, і племен дивитимуться на трупи їхні три дні з половиною, і не дозволять покласти трупи їхні у гроби.	And from among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations do men look upon their dead body three days and a half, and they shall suffer not their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

І ті, що живуть на землі, будуть радіти цьому і веселитися, і пошлють дари одне одному, тому що два ці пророки мучили тих, що живуть на землі.	And they that dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and shall make merry; and they shall give gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth.

Але після трьох з половиною днів увійшов у них дух життя від Бога, і вони обоє стали на ноги свої; і великий страх напав на тих, які дивилися на них.	And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them.
12	12
І почули вони з неба гучний голос, що говорив їм: зійдіть сюди. І вони зійшли на небо на хмарі; і дивилися на них вороги їхні.	And I heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13	13
І в ту ж мить стався великий землетрус, і десята частина міста впала, і загинуло під час землетрусу сім тисяч імен людських; інші ж охоплені були страхом і воздали славу Богові Небесному.	And in that day there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Друге горе минуло; ось, гряде скоро третє горе.	The second Woe is past: the third Woe, behold, it cometh quickly.
15	15
І сьомий ангел затрубив, і залунали на небі гучні голоси, які промовляли: царство світу стало царством Господа нашого і Христа Його, і буде царювати повік.	And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign forever and ever.

І двадцять чотири старці, які сидять перед Богом на престолах своїх, впали на лиця свої і поклонилися Богові,	And the four and twenty elders who are before the throne of God, who sit on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshiped God,
17	17
говорячи, дякуємо Тобі, Господи Боже, Вседержителю, Який є, і був, і грядеш, що Ти прийняв силу Твою велику і воцарився.	saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who art and who wast; because thou hast taken thy great power, and didst reign.
18	18
І розлютилися язичники; і прийшов гнів Твій, і час судити мертвих і дати відплату рабам Твоїм, пророкам і святим, і тим, що бояться імені Твого, малим і великим, і погубити тих, які губили землю.	And the nations were wroth, and thy wrath came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and the time to give their reward to thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear thy name, to the small and to the great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth.
19	19
І розкрився храм Божий на небі, і з’явився ковчег завіту Його в храмі Його; і сталися блискавки і голоси, і громи, і землетрус, і великий град.	And there was opened the temple of God in heaven; and there was seen in his temple the ark of the covenant of the Lord; and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and great hail.
