| І бачив я у правиці Того, Хто сидить на престолі, книгу, написану всередині і ззовні, запечатану сімома печатями. | And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, close sealed with seven seals. |

| І бачив я ангела сильного, який виголошував гучним голосом: хто достойний розкрити цю книгу і зняти печаті її? | And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? |

| І ніхто не міг, ні на небі, ні на землі, ні під землею, ані розкрити цю книгу, ані глянути в неї. | And no one in the heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon. |

| І я багато плакав від того, що нікого не знайшлося достойного розкрити і читати цю книгу, і навіть глянути в неї. | And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look thereon: |

| І один із старців сказав мені: не плач; ось, лев від коліна Іуди, корінь Давидів, переміг, і може розкрити цю книгу і зняти сім печатей її. | and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome, he that openeth the book and the seven seals thereof. |

| І я поглянув, і ось, посеред престолу і чотирьох тварин і посеред старців стояв Агнець, ніби заколений, що мав сім рогів і сім очей, які є сім духів Божих, посланих на всю землю. | And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth. |

| І Він прийшов і взяв книгу з правиці Того, Хто сидить на престолі. | And he came, and he taketh it out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne. |

| І коли Він узяв книгу, тоді чотири тварини і двадцять чотири старці упали перед Агнцем, маючи кожен гуслі і золоті чаші, повні фіміаму, які є молитви святих. | And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. |

| І співають нову пісню, кажучи: достойний Ти взяти книгу і зняти з неї печаті, бо Ти був заколений, і кров’ю Своєю відкупив нас Богові з усякого коліна і народу, і людей, і племені, | And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase us unto God with thy blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, |

| і зробив нас царями і священиками Богові нашому; і ми будемо царювати на землі. | and madest them to be unto our God kings and priests; and they shall reign upon the earth. |

| І я бачив, і чув голос багатьох ангелів навколо престолу, і тварин, і старців, і число їх було тьми тем і тисячі тисяч, | And I saw, and I heard as it were a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; |

| які говорили гучним голосом: достойний Агнець заколений прийняти силу і багатство, і премудрість, і міцність, і честь, і славу, і благословення. | saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing. |

| І всяке створіння, яке є на небі і на землі, і під землею, і на морі, і все, що в них, чув я, говорило: Тому, Хто сидить на престолі, і Агнцеві благословення і честь, і слава і держава на віки віків. | And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and the things that are in them, I heard them all saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever. Amen. |

| І чотири тварини говорили: амінь. І двадцять чотири старці упали і поклонилися Тому, Хто живе у віки віків. | And I heard the four living creatures saying the Amen. And the elders fell down and worshiped. |
