Глава 16	Chapter 16

1	1
І почув я з храму гучний голос, що говорив до семи ангелів: ідіть і вилийте сім чаш гніву Божого на землю.	And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.

Пішов перший ангел і вилив чашу свою на землю: і зробилися тяжкі й огидні гнійні рани на людях, які мали начертання звіра і поклонялися образу його.	And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshiped his image.

Другий ангел вилив чашу свою в море: і зробилася кров, ніби мерця, і все одушевлене померло в морі.	And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every soul died in the sea.
4	4
Третій ангел вилив чашу свою у річки і джерела вод: і зробилася кров.	And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and into the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.

І почув я ангела вод, який говорив: праведний Ти, Господи, Який є і був, і святий, тому що так судив;	And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:

за те, що вони пролили кров святих і пророків, Ти дав їм пити кров: вони достойні того.	for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood didst thou give them to drink: they are worthy.

І почув я іншого, який говорив від жертовника: так, Господи Боже Вседержителю, істинні і праведні суди Твої.	And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8	8
Четвертий ангел вилив чашу свою на сонце: і дано було йому палити людей вогнем.	And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.
9	9
І палила людей сильна спека, і вони хулили ім’я Бога, Який має владу над цими покараннями, і не напоумилися, щоб віддати Йому славу.	And men were scorched with great heat: and the men blasphemed the name of God who hath power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.
10	10
П’ятий ангел вилив чашу свою на престіл звіра: і зробилося царство його темне, і вони кусали язики свої від страждання,	And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

і хулили Бога небесного за страждання свої і за кари на них; і не розкаялись у ділах своїх.	and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.

Шостий ангел вилив чашу свою у велику ріку Євфрат: і висохла в ній вода, щоб готовий був шлях царям від сходу сонячного.	And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising.
13	13
І бачив я, що виходять з уст дракона, і з уст звіра, і з уст лжепророка три духи нечисті, подібні до жаб:	And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:
14	14
це — бісівські духи, що творять знамення; вони виходять до царів землі усієї вселенної, щоб зібрати їх на битву в оний великий день Бога Вседержителя.	for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.
15	15
Ось, іду, як злодій: блаженний, хто пильнує і береже одежу свою, щоб не ходити йому нагим і щоб не побачили сорому його.	(Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)
16	16
І він зібрав їх на місце, яке по-єврейськи зветься Армагеддон.	And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Mageddon.
17	17
Сьомий ангел вилив чашу свою на повітря: і з храму небесного від престолу пролунав гучний голос, який сказав: звершилось!	And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice from the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done:
18	18
І з’явилися блискавки, громи і голоси, і стався великий землетрус, якого не бувало з тієї пори, як люди на землі. Такий землетрус! Такий великий!	and there were lightnings, and thunders, and voices, and a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.
19	19
І місто велике розпалося на три частини, і міста язичницькі впали, і Вавилон великий згаданий перед Богом, щоб дати йому чашу вина лютости гніву Його.	And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20	20
І всякий острів зник, і гір не стало;	And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21	21
і град, завбільшки як талант, упав з неба на людей; і хулили люди Бога за покарання градом, тому що покарання від нього було дуже тяжке.	And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for this plague is exceeding great.
