| Бог, Який багаторазово й різноманітно говорив здавна отцям через пророків, | God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by diverse portions and in diverse manners, hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in his Son, |

| в останні ці дні говорив нам через Сина, Якого поставив спадкоємцем усього, що Ним і віки створив. | whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds; |

| Цей, будучи сяєвом слави і образом іпостасі Його і тримаючи все словом сили Своєї, здійснивши Собою очищення гріхів наших, сів праворуч престолу величі на висотi‚ | who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; |

| ставши настільки кращим від ангелів, наскільки славніше від них успадкував ім’я. | having become by so much better than the angels, as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they. |

| Бо кому коли з ангелів сказав Бог: «Ти — Син Мій, Я нині породив Тебе?» І ще: «Я буду Йому Отцем, і Він буде Мені Сином»? | For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? and again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son? |

| Також, коли вводить Первородного у всесвіт, промовляє: «І нехай поклоняться Йому всі Ангели Божi». | And when he again bringeth in the firstborn into the world he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. |

| Про Ангелів сказано: «Ти твориш духів ангелами Своїми і слугами Своїми вогненне полум’я». | And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire: |

| А про Сина: «Престіл Твій, Боже, повік віку: жезл царства Твого — жезл правоти. | but of the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of thy kingdom. |

| Ти полюбив правду і зненавидів беззаконня, тому помазав Тебе, Боже, Бог Твій єлеєм радости більше, ніж спільників Твоїх». | Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows. |

| Та: «Hа початку Ти, Господи, заснував землю, і небеса — діло рук Твоїх; | And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands: |

| вони загинуть, а Ти перебуваєш, і всі постаріють, як риза, | They shall perish; but thou continuest: And they all shall wax old as doth a garment; |
|

|
| і як одяг згорнеш їх, і зміняться; але Ти Той самий, і літа Твої не скінчаться». | And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up, And they shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall not fail. |

| Кому коли з ангелів сказав Бог: «Сиди праворуч Мене, доки не покладу ворогів Твоїх до підніжжя ніг Твоїх»? | But of which of the angels hath he said at any time, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet? |

| Чи не всі вони духи служіння, що їх посилають служити тим, які мають успадкувати спасіння? | Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation? |
