|
Братолюбність нехай перебуває між вами.
|
Let love of the brethren continue.
|
|

|
Гостинности не забувайте, бо через неї деякі, не знаючи, гостинно прийняли ангелів.
|
Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
|
|

|

|
|
Пам’ятайте в’язнів, ніби і ви з ними були в кайданах, і тих‚ хто страждає, бо й самі знаходитесь у тілі.
|
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.
|
|

|
|
Шлюб у всіх нехай буде чесний і ложе непорочне; блудників і перелюбників судить Бог.
|
Let marriage be had in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
|
|

|
|
Майте вдачу не сріблолюбну, задовольняючись тим, що є. Бо Сам сказав: «Hе залишу тебе і не покину тебе»,
|
Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.
|

|
тож ми сміливо говоримо: «Господь мені помічник, і не злякаюся: що зробить мені людина?»
|
So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper, And I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
|
|

|
Пам’ятайте наставників ваших, які проповідували вам слово Боже, і, дивлячись на кончину життя їхнього, наслідуйте віру їхню.
|
Remember them that had the rule over you, men that spake unto you the word of God; and considering the issue of their life, imitate their faith.
|
|

|
|
Ісус Христос учора й сьогодні і навіки Той же.
|
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yea and forever.
|
|

|
|
Ученнями різними й чужими не захоплюйтесь; бо добре благодаттю зміцнювати серця, а не їжею, від якої не одержали користи ті, що займалися нею.
|
Be not carried away by diverse and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.
|

|
Ми маємо жертовник, від якого не мають права споживати ті, що служать скинії.
|
We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat that serve the tabernacle.
|
|

|
|
Тому що тіла тварин, кров яких для очищення гріха вносить первосвященик у святилище, спалюються поза табором, —
|
For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned without the camp.
|
|

|
|
то і Ісус, щоб освятити людей Кров’ю Своєю, постраждав поза брамою.
|
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered without the gate.
|
|

|
|
Отже, вийдемо до Hього за табір, несучи Його наругу;
|
Let us therefore go forth unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
|
|

|

|
|
бо не маємо тут постійного міста, але шукаємо майбутнього.
|
For we have not here an abiding city, but we seek after the city which is to come.
|
|

|
|
Отже, будемо через Hього безустанно приносити Богу жертву хвали, тобто плід уст, що прославляють ім’я Його.
|
Through him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.
|
|

|
|
Hе забувайте також добродійности і спілкування, бо такі жертви благоугодні Богу.
|
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
|
|

|
Слухайте наставників ваших і будьте покірні, бо вони постійно дбають про душі ваші, як ті‚ що зобов’язані дати звіт; щоб вони робили це з радістю, а не зітхаючи, бо це для вас не корисно.
|
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.
|

|
Моліться за нас, бо ми певні, що маємо добру совість, тому що в усьому бажаємо поводитися чесно.
|
Pray for us: for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
|
|

|
|
Особливо ж прошу робити це, щоб я скоріше був повернений вам.
|
And I exhort you the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
|
|

|
|
Бог же миру, Який підняв із мертвих Пастиря овець великою Кров’ю завіту вічного, Господа нашого Ісуса Христа,
|
Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,
|

|
|
нехай вдосконалить вас у всякому доброму ділі, на виконання волі Його, роблячи у вас благоугодне Йому через Ісуса Христа: Йому слава на віки віків! Амінь.
|
make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

|
Прошу ж вас, браття, прийміть це слово повчання; я ж небагато і написав вам.
|
But I exhort you, brethren, bear with the word of exhortation: for I have written unto you in few words.
|

|
Знайте, що брат наш Тимофій визволений, і я разом із ним (якщо він скоро прийде) побачу вас.
|
Know ye that our brother Timothy hath been set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
|
|

|
|
Вітайте всіх наставників ваших і всіх святих. Вітають вас ті‚ що в Італії.
|
Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
|
|

|
|
Благодать з усіма вами. Амінь.
|
Grace be with you all. Amen.
