| Нині ж так говорить Господь, Який створив тебе, Якове, і Який упорядкував тебе, Ізраїлю, не бійся, тому що Я відкупив тебе, назвав тебе на ім’я твоє; ти Мій. | And now thus saith the Lord God that made thee, O Jacob, and formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. |

| Чи будеш переходити через води, Я з тобою, — чи через ріки, вони не потоплять тебе; чи підеш через вогонь, не обпалишся, і полум’я не обпече тебе. | And if thou pass through water, I am with thee; and the rivers shall not overflow thee: and if thou go through fire, thou shalt not be burned; the flame shall not burn thee. |

| Бо Я Господь, Бог твій, Святий Ізраїлів, Спаситель твій; у викуп за тебе віддав Єгипет, Ефіопію і Савею за тебе. | For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, that saves thee: I have made Egypt and Ethiopia thy ransom, and given Soene for thee. |

| Оскільки ти дорогий в очах Моїх, коштовний, і Я полюбив тебе, то віддам інших людей за тебе, і народи за душу твою. | Since thou becamest precious in my sight, thou hast become glorious, and I have loved thee: and I will give men for thee, and princes for thy life. |

|
| Не бійся, бо Я з тобою; від сходу приведу плем’я твоє і від заходу зберу тебе. | Fear not; for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and will gather thee from the west. |
|

|
| Півночі скажу: «віддай»; і півдню: «не утримуй; веди синів Моїх здалеку і дочок Моїх від країв землі, | I will say to the north, Bring; and to the south, Keep not back; bring my sons from the land afar off, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; |

|
| кожного, хто називається Моїм ім’ям, кого Я створив для слави Моєї, утворив і впорядкував. | even all who are called by my name: for I have prepared him for my glory, and I have formed him, and have made him: |

|
| Виведи народ сліпий, хоч у нього є очі, і глухий, хоч у нього є вуха». | and I have brought forth the blind people; for their eyes are alike blind, and they that have ears are deaf. |
|

|
| Нехай усі народи зберуться разом, і з’єднаються племена. Хто між ними передбачив це? нехай звістять, що було від початку; нехай представлять свідків від себе і виправдаються, щоб можна було почути і сказати: «правда!» | All the nations are gathered together, and princes shall be gathered out of them: who will declare these things? or who will declare to you things from the beginning? let them bring forth their witnesses, and be justified; and let them hear, and declare the truth. |

| А Мої свідки, говорить Господь, ви і раб Мій, якого Я обрав, щоб ви знали і вірили Мені, і розуміли, що це Я: раніше Мене не було Бога і після Мене не буде. | Be ye my witnesses, and I too am a witness, saith the Lord God, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know, and believe, and understand that I am he: before me there was no other God, and after me there shall be none. |

| Я, Я Господь, і немає Спасителя, крім Мене. | I am God; and beside me there is no Saviour. |

|
| Я передрік і спас і сповістив; а іншого немає у вас, і ви — свідки Мої, говорить Господь, що Я Бог; | I have declared, and have saved; I have reproached, and there was no strange god among you: ye are my witnesses, and I am the Lord God, |

|
| від початку днів Я Той самий, і ніхто не спасе від руки Моєї; Я зроблю, і хто скасує це? | even from the beginning; and there is none that can deliver out of my hands: I will work, and who shall turn it back? |
|

|
| Так говорить Господь, Відкупитель ваш, Святий Ізраїлів: заради вас Я послав у Вавилон і скрушив усі запори і халдеїв, які величалися кораблями. | Thus saith the Lord God that redeems you, the Holy One of Israel; For your sakes I will send to Babylon, and I will stir up all that flee, and the Chaldeans shall be bound in ships. |

| Я Господь, Святий ваш, Творець Ізраїля, Цар ваш. | I am the Lord God, your Holy One, who have appointed for Israel your king. |

| Так говорить Господь, Який відкрив у море дорогу, у великих водах шлях, | Thus saith the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty water; |

|
| Хто вивів колісниці і коней, військо і силу; усі лягли разом, не встали; потухли як світильня, згасли. | who brought forth chariots and horse, and a mighty multitude: but they have lain down, and shall not rise: they are extinct, as quenched flax. |
|

|
| Але ви не згадуєте минулого і про давнє не помишляєте. | Remember ye not the former things, and consider not the ancient things. |
|

|
| Ось, Я творю нове; нині ж воно явиться; невже ви і цього не хочете знати? Я прокладу дорогу в степу, ріки у пустелі. | Behold, I will do new things, which shall presently spring forth, and ye shall know them: and I will make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the dry land. |
|

|
| Польові звірі прославлять Мене, шакали і страуси, тому що Я у пустелях дам воду, ріки у сухому степу, щоб напувати обраний народ Мій. | The beasts of the field shall bless me, the owls and young ostriches; for I have given water in the wilderness, and rivers in the dry land, to give drink to my chosen race, |

| Цей народ Я утворив для Себе; він буде звіщати славу Мою. | even my people whom I have preserved to tell forth my praises. |

|
| А ти, Якове, не волав до Мене; ти, Ізраїлю, не трудився для Мене. | I have not now called thee, O Jacob; neither have I made thee weary, O Israel. |
|

|
| Ти не приносив Мені агнців твоїх у всепалення і жертвами твоїми не шанував Мене. Я не змушував тебе служити Мені хлібним приношенням і не обтяжував тебе фіміамом. | Thou hast not brought me the sheep of thy whole-burnt-offering; neither hast thou glorified me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with sacrifices, neither have I wearied thee with frankincense. |

| Ти не купував Мені запашної трави за срібло і жиром жертв твоїх не насичував Мене; але ти гріхами твоїми утруднював Мене, беззаконнями твоїми обтяжував Мене. | Neither hast thou purchased for me victims for silver, neither have I desired the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou didst stand before me in thy sins, and in thine iniquities. |

| Я, Я Сам згладжую злочини твої заради Себе Самого і гріхів твоїх не пом’яну: | I, even I, am he that blots out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and thy sins; and I will not remember them. |

|
| пригадай Мені; станемо судитися; говори ти, щоб виправдатися. | But do thou remember, and let us plead together: do thou first confess thy transgressions, that thou mayest be justified. |
|

|
| Праотець твій згрішив, і заступники твої відступили від Мене. | Your fathers first, and your princes have transgressed against me. |
|

|
28
|
| За те Я предстоятелей святилища позбавив священства і Якова віддав на закляття й Ізраїля на ганьбу. | And the princes have defiled my sanctuaries: so I gave Jacob to enemies to destroy, and Israel to reproach. |
