І відокремив Давид і начальники війська на службу синів Асафа, Емана та Ідифуна, щоб вони провіщали на цитрах, псалтирях і кимвалах; і були відраховані вони на справу служіння свого:	And king David and the captains of the host appointed to their services the sons of Asaph, and of Æman, and of Idithun, prophesiers with harps, and lutes, and cymbals: and their number was according to their polls serving in their ministrations.

із синів Асафа: Заккур, Йосиф, Ієфанія й Ашарела сини Асафа, під керівництвом Асафа, який грав за настановою царя.	The sons of Asaph; Sacchur, Joseph, and Nathanias, and Erael: the sons of Asaph were next the king.

Від Ідифуна сини Ідифуна: Гедалія, Цері, Ісая, Семей, Хашавія і Маттафія, шестеро, під керівництвом батька свого Ідифуна, який грав на цитрі у славу і хвалу Господа.	To Idithun were reckoned the sons of Idithun, Godolias, and Suri, and Iseas, and Asabias, and Matthathias, six after their father Idithun, sounding loudly on the harp thanksgiving and praise to the Lord.

Від Емана сини Емана: Буккія, Матфанія, Озиїл, Шевуїл та Ієримоф, Хананія, Ханані, Елиафа, Гиддалті, Ромамті-Езер, Іошбекаша, Маллофі, Гофир і Махазіоф.	To Æman were reckoned the sons of Æman, Bukias, and Matthanias, and Oziel, and Subael, and Jerimoth, and Ananias, and Anan, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rometthiezer, and Jesbasaca, and Mallithi, and Otheri, and Meazoth.

Усі ці сини Емана, прозорливця царського, за словами Божими, щоб піднімати славу його. І дав Бог Еману чотирнадцять синів і трьох дочок.	All these were the sons of Æman the king's chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Æman fourteen sons, and three daughters.

Усі вони під керівництвом батька свого співали в домі Господньому з кимвалами, псалтирями і цитрами при служінні в домі Божому, за вказівкою царя, або Асафа, Ідифуна й Емана.	All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, and lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Idithun, and Æman.

І було число їх із братами їхніми, навчених співати перед Господом, усіх, що знають цю справу, двісті вісімдесят вісім.	And the number of them after their brethren, those instructed to sing to God, every one that understood singing was two hundred and eighty-eight.

І кинули вони жереб про чергу служіння, малий нарівні з більшим, вчителі нарівні з учнями.	And they also cast lots for the daily courses, for the great and the small of them, of the perfect ones and the learners.

І випав перший жереб Асару для Йосифа; другий Гедалії з братами його і синами його; їх було дванадцять;	And the first lot of his sons and of his brethren came forth to Asaph the son of Joseph, namely, Godolias: the second Heneia, his sons and his brethren being twelve.

третій Заккуру із синами його і братами його; їх — дванадцять;	The third Zacchur, his sons and his brethren were twelve:

четвертий Іцрію із синами його і братами його; їх — дванадцять;	the fourth Jesri, his sons and his brethren were twelve:

п’ятий Нефанії із синами його і братами його; їх — дванадцять;	the fifth Nathan, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

шостий Буккії із синами його і братами його; їх — дванадцять;	the sixth Bukias, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
