Сини Каафа: Амрам, Іцгар, Хеврон та Узиїл.	And these are the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.

Діти Амрама: Аарон, Мойсей і Маріам. Сини Аарона: Надав, Авиуд, Єлеазар і Іфамар.	The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.

Єлеазар породив Финеєса, Финеєс породив Авишуя;	The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these are the families of Levi, according to their families.

Авишуй породив Буккія, Буккій породив Озію;	To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—were born Jeth his son, Zammath his son,

Озія породив Зерахію, Зерахія породив Мераїофа;	Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.

Ось імена синів Гирсонових: Ливні і Шимей.	And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness playing on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.

син Цуфа, син Елкани, син Махафа, син Амасая,	And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,

син Тахафа, син Асира, син Авиасафа, син Корея,	Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,

і брат його Асаф, який стояв праворуч від нього, — Асаф, син Берехії, син Шими,	And these are their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.

син Михаїла, син Ваасеї, син Малхиї,	And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.

син Ефнія, син Зераха, син Адаії,	But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.

син Ефана, син Зимми, син Шимія,	And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, even Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,

син Іахафа, син Гирсона, син Левія.	and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,

А із синів Мерарі, братів їхніх, — на лівому боці: Ефан, син Кишія, син Авдія, син Маллуха,	and Asan and her suburbs, and Bæthsamys and her suburbs:

син Хашавії, син Амасії, син Хелкії,	and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities were thirteen cities according to their families.

син Амція, син Ванія, син Шемера,	And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, there were given out of the tribe, namely, out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.

син Махлія, син Мушія, син Мерарі, син Левія.	And to the sons of Gedson according to their families there were given thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.

Брати їхні левити визначені на всякі служби при домі Божому;	And to the sons of Merari according to their families there were given, by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, and of the tribe of Zabulon.

Аарон же і сини його спалювали на жертовнику всепалення і на жертовнику кадильному, і звершували всяке священнодійство у Святому Святих і для очищення Ізраїля в усьому, як заповів раб Божий Мойсей.	So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.

Ось сини Аарона: Єлеазар, син його; Финеєс, син його; Авиуд, син його;	And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.

Буккій, син його; Уззій, син його; Зерахія, син його;	And to the members of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Мераїоф, син його; Амарія, син його; Ахитув, син його;	And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,

Садок, син його; Ахимаас, син його.	and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Bæthoron and her suburbs,

І ось оселі їхні за селищами їхніми у наділах їхніх: синам Аарона з племені Каафового, оскільки жереб випав їм,	and Ælon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:

дали Хеврон, у землі Іудиній, і передмістя його навколо нього;	and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to each several family.

поля ж цього міста і села його віддали Халеву, синові Ієфонніїному.	To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse they gave Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.

Синам Аарона дали також міста притулків: Хеврон і Ливну з їх передмістями, Іаттир та Ештемоа і передмістя його,	And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,

і Хилен і передмістя його, Давир і передмістя його,	and Ramoth, and Ænan and her suburbs.

і Ашан і передмістя його, Вефсамис і передмістя його,	And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,

а від коліна Веніамінового — Геву і передмістя її, і Аллемеф і передмістя його, і Анафоф і передмістя його: усіх міст їхніх у племенах їхніх тринадцять міст.	and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.

Решті синів Каафа, із родин цього коліна, дано за жеребом десять міст із наділу половини коліна Манассіїного.	And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.

Синам Гирсона за племенами їхніми, від коліна Іссахарового, і від коліна Асирового, і від коліна Неффалимового, і від коліна Манассіїного у Васані, дано тринадцять міст.	To the sons of Merari that were left, they gave out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:

Синам Мерарі за племенами їхніми, від коліна Рувимового, і від коліна Гадового, і від коліна Завулонового, дано за жеребом дванадцять міст.	out of the country beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,

Так дали сини Ізраїлеві левитам міста і передмістя їх.	and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.
65	65
Дали вони за жеребом від коліна синів Іудиних, і від коліна синів Симеонових, і від коліна синів Веніамінових ті міста, які вони назвали на імення.	Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,

Деяким же племенам синів Каафових дали міста від коліна Єфремового.	and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.

І дали їм міста притулків: Сихем і передмістя його на горі Єфремовій, і Гезер і передмістя його,

Іокмеам і передмістя його, і Беф-Орон і передмістя його,

й Аїалон і передмістя його, і Гаф-Риммон і передмістя його;

від половини коліна Манассіїного — Анер і передмістя його, Білеам і передмістя його. Це поколінню решти синів Каафових.

Синам Гирсона від племені половини коліна Манассіїного дали Голан у Васані і передмістя його, й Аштароф і передмістя його.

Від коліна Іссахарового — Кедес і передмістя його, Давраф і передмістя його,

і Рамоф і передмістя його, й Анем і передмістя його;

від коліна Асирового — Машал і передмістя його, й Авдон і передмістя його,

і Хуком і передмістя його, і Рехов і передмістя його;

від коліна Неффалимового — Кедес у Галилеї і передмістя його, і Хаммон і передмістя його, і Кириафаїм і передмістя його.

А іншим синам Мерариним — від коліна Завулонового Риммон і передмістя його, Фавор і передмістя його.

По той бік Йордану, навпроти Єрихона, на схід від Йордану, від коліна Рувимового дали Восор у пустелі і передмістя його, й Іаацу і передмістя її,

і Кедемоф і передмістя його, і Мефааф і передмістя його;
80
від коліна Гадового — Рамоф у Галааді і передмістя його, і Маханаїм і передмістя його,
81
й Елевон і передмістя його, і Іазер та передмістя його.
