| Ма́лъ бѣ́хъ въ бра́тїи мое́й и҆ ю҆́ншїй въ домꙋ̀ ѻ҆тца̀ моегѡ̀: пасо́хъ ѻ҆́вцы ѻ҆тца̀ моегѡ̀. | This Psalm is a genuine one of David, though supernumerary, composed when he fought in single combat with Goliad. I was small among my brethren, and youngest in my father's house: I tended my father's sheep. |

| Рꙋ́цѣ моѝ сотвори́стѣ ѻ҆рга́нъ, и҆ пе́рсты моѝ соста́виша ѱалти́рь. | My hands formed a musical instrument, and my fingers tuned a psaltery. |

| И҆ кто̀ возвѣсти́тъ гдⷭ҇еви моемꙋ̀; Са́мъ гдⷭ҇ь, са́мъ оу҆слы́шитъ: | And who shall tell my Lord? the Lord himself, he himself hears. |

| Са́мъ посла̀ а҆́гг҃ла своего̀, и҆ взѧ́тъ мѧ̀ ѿ ѻ҆ве́цъ ѻ҆тца̀ моегѡ̀, и҆ пома́за мѧ̀ є҆ле́емъ пома́занїѧ своегѡ̀. | He sent forth his angel, and took me from my father's sheep, and he anointed me with the oil of his anointing. |

| Бра́тїѧ моѧ̑ добрѝ и҆ вели́цы: и҆ не бл҃говолѝ въ ни́хъ гдⷭ҇ь. | My brothers were handsome and tall; but the Lord did not take pleasure in them. |

| И҆зыдо́хъ въ срѣ́тенїе и҆ноплеме́нникꙋ, и҆ проклѧ́тъ мѧ̀ і҆́дѡлы свои́ми. | I went forth to meet the Philistine; and he cursed me by his idols. |

| А҆́зъ же и҆сто́ргнꙋвъ ме́чь ѿ негѡ̀, ѡ҆безгла́вихъ є҆го̀ и҆ ѿѧ́хъ поноше́нїе ѿ сынѡ́въ і҆и҃левыхъ. | But I drew his own sword, and beheaded him, and removed reproach from the children of Israel. |
