| І підняв мене дух, і привів мене до східних воріт дому Господнього, які повернені на схід. І ось, біля входу у ворота двадцять п’ять чоловік; і між ними я бачив Іазанію, сина Азурового, і Фалтію, сина Ванеєвого, князів народу. | Moreover the Spirit took me up, and brought me to the front gate of the house of the Lord, that looks eastward: and behold at the entrance of the gate were about five and twenty men; and I saw in the midst of them Jechonias the son of Ezer, and Phaltias the son of Banæas, the leaders of the people. |

| І Він сказав мені: сину людський! ось люди, у яких на думці беззаконня і які дають злу пораду у місті цьому, | And the Lord said to me, Son of man, these are the men that devise vanities, and take evil counsel in this city: |

|
| говорячи: «ще не близько; будемо будувати доми; воно* казан, а ми м’ясо». | who say, Have not the houses been newly built? This is the caldron, and we are the flesh. |
|

|
| Тому проречи на них пророцтво, пророкуй, сину людський. | Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, son of man. |
|

|
| І зійшов на мене Дух Господній і сказав мені: скажи, так говорить Господь: що говорите ви, доме Ізраїлів, і що на думку вам приходить, це Я знаю. | And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said to me, say; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: and I know the devices of your spirit. |

| Багато вбитих ваших ви поклали у цьому місті і вулиці його наповнили трупами. | Ye have multiplied your dead in this city, and ye have filled your ways with slain men. |
|

|
| Тому так говорить Господь Бог: убиті ваші, яких ви поклали серед нього, є м’ясо, а воно — казан; але вас Я виведу з нього. | Therefore thus saith the Lord; Your dead whom ye have smitten in the midst of it, these are the flesh, and thiscity is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. |

| Ви боїтеся меча, і Я наведу на вас меч, — говорить Господь Бог. | Ye fear the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord. |

| І виведу вас з нього, і віддам вас у руки чужих, і вчиню над вами суд. | And I will bring you forth out of the midst of it, and will deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you. |
|

| Від меча впадете; на межах Ізраїлевих будуть судити вас, і пізнаєте, що Я Господь. | Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you on the mountains of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
|

|
| Воно не буде для вас казаном, і ви не будете м’ясом у ньому; на межах Ізраїлевих буду судити вас. | |
|
12
|
|
| І пізнаєте, що Я Господь; бо за заповідями Моїми ви не ходили й уставів Моїх не виконували, а жили за уставами народів, які оточують вас. | |
|

|
| І було, коли я пророкував, Фалтія, син Ванеїв, помер. І упав я на лице, і заволав гучним голосом, і сказав: о, Господи Боже! невже Ти хочеш до кінця знищити залишок Ізраїлю? | And it came to pass, while I was prophesying, that Phaltias the son of Banæas died. And I fell upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Alas, alas, O Lord! wilt thou utterly destroy the remnant of Israel? |

| І було до мене слово Господнє: | And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |

|
| сину людський! твоїм братам, твоїм братам, твоїм єдинокровним і всьому дому Ізраїлевому, усім їм говорять ті, що живуть у Єрусалимі: «живіть далеко від Господа; нам у володіння віддана ця земля». | Son of man, thy brethren, and the men of thy captivity, and all the house of Israel are come to the full, to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem said, Keep ye far away from the Lord: the land is given to us for an inheritance. |

| На це скажи: так говорить Господь Бог: хоч Я і віддалив їх до народів і хоч розсіяв їх по землях, але Я буду для них якимось святилищем у тих землях, куди пішли вони. | Therefore say thou, Thus saith the Lord; I will cast them off among the nations, and will disperse them into every land, yet will I be to them for a little sanctuary in the countries which they shall enter. |

| Потім скажи: так говорить Господь Бог: Я зберу вас із народів, і поверну вас із земель, в яких ви розсіяні; і дам вам землю Ізраїлеву. | Therefore say thou, Thus saith the Lord; I will also take them from the heathen, and gather them out of the lands wherein I have scattered them, and will give them the land of Israel. |

| І прийдуть туди, і викинуть з неї всі мерзоти її і всі гидоти її. | And they shall enter in there, and shall remove all the abominations of it, and all its iniquities from it. |
|

|
| І дам їм серце єдине, і дух новий вкладу в них, і візьму з плоті їх серце кам’яне, і дам їм серце плотське, | And I will give them another heart, and will put a new spirit within them; and will extract the heart of stone from their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh: |
|

|
| щоб вони ходили за заповідями Моїми, і дотримувалися уставів Моїх, і виконували їх; і будуть Моїм народом, а Я буду їхнім Богом. | that they may walk in my commandments, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be to me a people, and I will be to them a God. |

| А чиє серце захопиться мерзотами їх і гидотами їх, поведінку тих оберну на їхню голову, — говорить Господь Бог. | And as for the heart set upon their abominations and their iniquities, as their heart went after them, I have recompensed their ways on their heads, saith the Lord. |
|

|
| Тоді херувими підняли крила свої, і колеса поряд з ними; і слава Бога Ізраїлевого вгорі над ними. | Then the cherubs lifted up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. |
|

| І піднялася слава Господа із середовища міста і зупинилася над горою, яка на схід від міста. | And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood on the mountain which was in front of the city. |
|
24

24
|
| І дух підняв мене і переніс мене у Халдею, до переселенців, у видінні, Духом Божим. І відійшло від мене видіння, яке я бачив. | And the Spirit took me up, and brought me to the land of the Chaldeans, to the captivity, in a vision by the Spirit of God: and I went up after the vision which I saw. |

| І я переказав переселенцям усі слова Господа, які Він відкрив мені. | And I spoke to the captivity all the words of the Lord which he had shewed me. |
