| І візьми до себе Аарона, брата твого, і синів його з ним, від середовища синів Ізраїлевих, щоб він був священиком Мені, Аарона і Надава, Авиуда, Єлеазара й Іфамара, синів Ааронових. | And do thou take to thyself both Aaron thy brother, and his sons, even them of the children of Israel; so that Aaron, and Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar and Ithamar, sons of Aaron, may minister to me. |

| І зроби священний одяг Аарону, братові твоєму, для слави і краси. | And thou shalt make holy apparel for Aaron thy brother, for honour and glory. |
|

|
| І скажи всім мудрим серцем, яких Я наповнив духом премудрости [і розуміння], щоб вони зробили Аарону [священні] одежі для посвяти його, щоб він був священиком Мені. | And speak thou to all those who are wise in understanding, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom and perception; and they shall make the holy apparel of Aaron for the sanctuary, in which apparel he shall minister to me as priest. |

| Ось одяг, який вони повинні зробити: наперсник, ефод*, верхня риза, хітон* витканий, кидар* і пояс. Нехай зроблять священний одяг Аарону, братові твоєму, і синам його, щоб він був священиком Мені. | And these are the garments which they shall make: the breast-plate, and the shoulder-piece, and the full-length robe, and the tunic with a fringe, and the tire, and the girdle; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron and his sons to minister to me as priests. |

| Нехай вони візьмуть золото, блакитну і пурпурову і червлену вовну і висон, | And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen. |

| і зроблять ефод із золота, з блакитної, пурпурової і червленої вовни, і з крученого висону, мистецькою роботою. | And they shall make the shoulder-piece of fine linen spun, the woven work of the embroiderer. |

|
| У нього повинні бути на обох кінцях його два з’єднувальні нарамники, щоб він був зв’язаний. | It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined together, fastened on the two sides. |
|

|
| І пояс ефода, що поверх нього, повинен бути однакової з ним роботи, з [чистого] золота, з блакитної, пурпурової і червленої вовни і з крученого висону. | And the woven work of the shoulder-pieces which is upon it, shall be of one piece according to the work, of pure gold and blue and purple, and spun scarlet and fine twined linen. |

| І візьми два камені онікса і виріж на них імена синів Ізраїлевих: | And thou shalt take the two stones, the stones of emerald, and thou shalt grave on them the names of the children of Israel. |

| шість імен їхніх на одному камені і шість імен останніх на іншому камені, за порядком народження їх; | Six names on the first stone, and the other six names on the second stone, according to their births. |

|
| через різчика на камені, що вирізьблює печаті, виріж на двох каменях імена синів Ізраїлевих; і встав їх у золоті гнізда | It shall be the work of the stone-engraver's art; as the graving of a seal thou shalt engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel. |

|
| і поклади два камені ці на нарамники ефода: це камені на пам’ять синам Ізраїлевим; і буде Аарон носити імена їхні перед Господом на обох раменах своїх для пам’яті. | And thou shalt put the two stones on the shoulders of the shoulder-piece: they are memorial-stones for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel before the Lord on his two shoulders, a memorial for them. |

| І зроби гнізда з [чистого] золота; | And thou shalt make circlets of pure gold; |

| і [зроби] два ланцюжки з чистого золота, витими зроби їх роботою плетеною, і прикріпи кручені ланцюжки до гнізд [на нарамниках їх спереду]. | and thou shalt make two fringes of pure gold, variegated with flowers, wreathen work; and thou shalt put the wreathen fringes on the circlets, fastening them on their shoulder-pieces in front. |

| Зроби наперсник судний майстерною роботою; зроби його такою самою роботою, як ефод: із золота, з блакитної, пурпурової і червленої вовни і з крученого висону зроби його; | And thou shalt make the oracle of judgment, the work of the embroiderer: in keeping with the ephod, thou shalt make it of gold, and blue and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun. |

| він повинен бути чотирикутний, подвійний, у п’ядь довжиною і в п’ядь шириною; | Thou shalt make it square: it shall be double; of a span the length of it, and of a span the breadth. |

| і встав у нього оправлені камені в чотири ряди; поряд: рубін, топаз, смарагд, — це один ряд; | And thou shalt interweave with it a texture of four rows of stone; there shall be a row of stones, a sardius, a topaz, an emerald, the first row. |

| другий ряд: карбункул, сапфір і алмаз; | And the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper. |

| третій ряд: яхонт, агат і аметист; | And the third row, a ligure, an agate, an amethyst: |

| четвертий ряд: хризоліт, онікс і яспис; у золоті гнізда повинні бути вставлені вони. | and the fourth row, a chrysolite, and a beryl, and an onyx stone, set round with gold, bound together with gold: let them be according to their row. |

| Цих каменів повинно бути дванадцять, за числом [дванадцяти імен] синів Ізраїлевих [на двох раменах його], за іменами їх [і за народженням їх]; на кожнім, як на печаті, повинно бути вирізано по одному імені з числа дванадцяти колін. | And let the stones of the names of the children of Israel be twelve according to their names, engravings as of seals: let them be for the twelve tribes each according to the name. |

| До наперсника зроби ланцюжки кручені плетеної роботи з чистого золота; | And thou shalt make on the oracle woven fringes, a chain-work of pure gold. |

|
| і зроби до наперсника два кільця з золота і прикріпи два [золотих] кільця до двох країв наперсника; | |
|
24
|
|
| і вдінь два плетені ланцюжки з золота в обидва кільця з [обох] кінців наперсника, | |
|

|
|
| а два кінці двох ланцюжків прикріпи до двох гнізд і прикріпи до нарамників ефода з лицевої сторони його; | |
|

|
|
| ще зроби два кільця золотих і прикріпи їх до двох інших кінців наперсника, на тій стороні, що лежить до ефода в середину; | |
|
27
|
|
| також зроби два кільця золотих і прикріпи їх до двох нарамників ефода знизу, з лицевої сторони його, біля з’єднання його, над поясом ефода; | |
|

|
|
| і прикріплять наперсник кільцями його до кілець ефода шнуром з блакитної вовни, щоб він був над поясом ефода, і щоб не спадав наперсник з ефода. | |

| І буде носити Аарон імена синів Ізраїлевих на наперснику судному біля серця свого, коли буде входити у святилище, для постійної пам’яті перед Господом. [І поклади на наперсник судний кручені ланцюжки, поклади на обидва кінці наперсника, і поклади обидва гнізда на обох плечах на нарамнику з лиця.] | And Aaron shall take the names of the children of Israel, on the oracle of judgment on his breast; a memorial before God for him as he goes into the sanctuary. |

| На наперсник судний поклади урим і тумим, і вони будуть біля серця Ааронового, коли буде він входити [у святилище] перед лице Господнє; і буде Аарон завжди носити суд синів Ізраїлевих біля серця свого перед лицем Господнім. | and thou shalt put the two circlets on both the shoulders of the ephod in front. And thou shalt put the Manifestation and the Truth on the oracle of judgment; and it shall be on the breast of Aaron, when he goes into the holy place before the Lord; and Aaron shall bear the judgments of the children of Israel on his breast before the Lord continually. |

| І зроби верхню ризу до ефода всю блакитного кольору; | And thou shalt make the full-length tunic all of blue. |

| посеред неї повинен бути отвір для голови; біля отвору її навколо повинна бути обшивка виткана, подібно до отвору у броні, щоб не дерлося; | And the opening of it shall be in the middle having a fringe round about the opening, the work of the weaver, woven together in the joining of the same piece that it might not be rent. |

| на подолі її зроби яблука з ниток блакитного, яхонтового, пурпурового і червленого кольору [і з крученого висону], навколо по подолу її; [такого вигляду яблука і] дзвоники золоті між ними навкруги: | And under the fringe of the robe below thou shalt make as it were pomegranates of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen spun, under the fringe of the robe round about: golden pomegranates of the same shape, and bells round about between these. |

| золотий дзвоник і яблуко, золотий дзвоник і яблуко, по подолу верхньої ризи навкруги; | A bell by the side of a golden pomegranate, and flower-work on the fringe of the robe round about. |

| вона буде на Аароні в служінні, щоб чутним був від нього звук, коли він буде входити у святилище перед лице Господнє і коли буде виходити, щоб йому не вмерти. | And the sound of Aaron shall be audible when he ministers, as he goes into the sanctuary before the Lord, and as he goes out, that he die not. |

| І зроби поліровану дощечку з чистого золота, і виріж на ній, як вирізують на печатці: «Святиня Господня», | And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and thou shalt grave on it as the graving of a signet, Holiness of the Lord. |

| і прикріпи її шнуром блакитного кольору до кидара, так щоб вона була на передній стороні кидара; | And thou shalt put it on the spun blue cloth, and it shall be on the mitre: it shall be in the front of the mitre. |

|
| і буде вона на чолі Аароновому, і понесе на собі Аарон недоліки приношень, що посвячуються від синів Ізраїлевих, і всіх дарів, які вони приносять; і буде вона безперестанно на чолі його, для благовоління Господнього до них. | And it shall be on the forehead of Aaron; and Aaron shall bear away the sins of their holy things, all that the children of Israel shall sanctify of every gift of their holy things, and it shall be on the forehead of Aaron continually acceptable for them before the Lord. |

| І зроби хітон з висону і кидар з висону і зроби пояс візерунчастої роботи; | And the fringes of the garments shall be of fine linen; and thou shalt make a tire of fine linen, and thou shalt make a girdle, the work of the embroiderer. |

| зроби і синам Аароновим хітони, зроби їм пояси, і головні пов’язки зроби їм для слави і краси, | And for the sons of Aaron thou shalt make tunics and girdles, and thou shalt make for them tires for honour and glory. |

| і зодягни в них Аарона, брата твого, і синів його з ним, і помаж їх, і наповни руки їх, і посвяти їх, і вони будуть священиками Мені. | And thou shalt put them on Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, and thou shalt anoint them and fill their hands: and thou shalt sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. |

| І зроби їм нижній одяг лляний, для прикриття тілесної наготи від стегон до гомілок, | And thou shalt make for them linen drawers to cover the nakedness of their flesh; they shall reach from the loins to the thighs. |

| і хай буде він на Аароні і на синах його, коли будуть вони входити у скинію забрання, або приступати до жертовника для служіння у святилищі, щоб їм не навести [на себе] гріха і не померти. Це устав вічний, [нехай буде] для нього і для нащадків його після нього. | And Aaron shall have them, and his sons, whenever they enter into the tabernacle of witness, or when they shall advance to the altar of the sanctuary to minister, so they shall not bring sin upon themselves, lest they die: it is a perpetual statute for him, and for his seed after him. |
