Глава 17	Chapter 17

1	1
Після цих слів Ісус звів очі Свої до неба і сказав: Отче! Прийшов час. Прослав Сина Твого, щоб і Син Твій прославив Тебе;	These things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

як Ти дав Йому владу над усякою плоттю, щоб усьому, що Ти дав Йому, дав Він життя вічне.	even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he shall give eternal life.

Це ж є життя вічне, щоб пізнали Тебе, Єдиного Істинного Бога, і Того, Кого Ти послав, Ісуса Христа.	And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.

Я прославив Тебе на землі, звершив діло, яке Ти доручив Мені виконати.	I have glorified thee on the earth: I have accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do.

І нині прослав Мене Ти, Отче, в Тебе Самого — славою, яку Я мав у Тебе, коли ще не було світу.	And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Я явив ім’я Твоє людям, яких Ти дав Мені від світу; вони були Твої, і Ти дав їх Мені, і вони зберегли слово Твоє.	I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou hast given me out of the world: thine they were, and thou hast given them to me; and they have kept thy word.
7	7
Нині зрозуміли, що все, що Ти дав Мені, є від Тебе.	Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:

Бо слова, які Ти дав Мені, Я передав їм, і вони прийняли і зрозуміли воістину, що Я зійшов від Тебе, і увірували, що Ти послав Мене.	for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received them, and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

Я за них благаю, — не за весь світ благаю, але за тих, яких Ти дав Мені, тому що вони Твої.	I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine:
10	10
І все Моє — Твоє, і Твоє — Моє; і Я прославився в них.	and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.
11	11
Я вже не в світі, та вони в світі, а Я до Тебе йду. Отче Святий! Збережи їх в ім’я Твоє, тих, кого Ти дав Мені, щоб вони були єдине, як і Ми.	And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Коли Я був з ними у світі, Я зберігав їх в ім’я Твоє; тих, яких Ти дав Мені, Я зберіг, і ніхто з них не загинув, тільки син погибельний, щоб збулося Писання.	While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou hast given me I have guarded, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13	13
Нині ж до Тебе йду, і це говорю у світі, щоб вони мали в собі радість Мою повну.	But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in them.
14	14
Я дав їм слово Твоє, і світ зненавидів їх, тому що вони не від світу, як і Я не від світу.	I have given them thy word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15	15
Не благаю, щоб Ти взяв їх від світу, але щоб зберіг їх від зла.	I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil one.
16	16
Вони не від світу, як і Я не від світу.	They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17	17
Освяти їх істиною Твоєю; слово Твоє є істина.	Sanctify them in thy truth: thy word is truth.
18	18
Як Ти послав Мене у світ, так і Я послав їх у світ.	As thou didst send me into the world, even so sent I them into the world.
19	19
І за них Я освячую Себе, щоб і вони були освячені істиною.	And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.
20	20
Не за них же тільки благаю, але й за віруючих у Мене за словом їхнім.	Neither for these only do I pray, but for them also that believe on me through their word;
21	21
Щоб усі були єдине: як Ти, Отче, в Мені, і Я в Тобі, так і вони нехай будуть в Нас єдине, — щоб увірував світ, що Ти послав Мене.	that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me.
22	22
І славу, яку Ти дав Мені, Я дав їм: щоб були єдине, як і Ми єдине;	And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one;
23	23
Я в них, і Ти в Мені; щоб вони були звершені в єдності, і щоб зрозумів світ, що Ти послав Мене і полюбив їх, як полюбив Мене.	I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; and that the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me.

Отче! Ті, кого Ти дав Мені, хочу, щоб там, де Я, і вони були зі Мною, щоб бачили славу Мою, яку Ти дав Мені, тому що полюбив Мене раніше від створення світу.	Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou gavest me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25	25
Отче Праведний! І світ Тебе не пізнав; а Я пізнав Тебе, і ці пізнали, що Ти послав Мене.	O righteous Father, the world knew thee not, but I knew thee; and these knew that thou didst send me;
26	26
І Я відкрив їм ім’я Твоє і відкрию, щоб любов, якою Ти полюбив Мене, в них була, і Я в них.	and I made known unto them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in them, and I in them.
