| слhшахъ сицєвaz мнHга, ўтёшителіе ѕHлъ вси2. | I have heard many such things: poor comforters are ye all. |

| Чт0 бо; є3дA чи1нъ є4сть во словесёхъ вётра; и3ли2 кyю ти2 пaкость сотвори1тъ, ћкw tвэщaеши; | What! is there any reason in vain words? or what will hinder thee from answering? |

| И# ѓзъ ћкоже вы2 возглаг0лю: ѓще бы душA вaша подлежaла вмёстw моеS, тогдA наскочи1лъ бhхъ на вы2 словесы2, покивaю же на вы2 глав0ю моeю. | I also will speak as ye do: if indeed your soul were in my soul's stead, then would I insult you with words, and I would shake my head at you. |

| Бyди же крёпость во ўстёхъ мои1хъ, движeніz же ўстeнъ не пощажY. | And would there were strength in my mouth, and I would not spare the movement of my lips. |

| Ѓще бо возглаг0лю, не возболю1 ли ћзвою; ѓще же и3 ўмолчY, чи1мъ мeнше ўsзвенъ бyду; | For if I should speak, I shall not feel the pain of my wound: and if I should be silent, how shall I be wounded the less? |

| Нн7э же преутруждeна мS сотвори2, бyz, согни1вша, и3 ћтъ мS. | But now he has made me weary, and a worn-out fool; and thou hast laid hold of me. |

| Въ послyшество бhхъ, и3 востA во мнЁ лжA моS, проти1внw лицY моемY tвэщA. | My falsehood has become a testimony, and has risen up against me: it has confronted me to my face. |

| Гнёвенъ бhвъ низложи1 мz, возскрежетA зубы2 на мS, стрёлы разб0йникwвъ є3гw2 напад0ша на мS. | In his anger he has cast me down; he has gnashed his teeth upon me: the weapons of his robbers have fallen upon me. |

| Nстрот0ю nчeсъ наскакA, мечeмъ порази1 мz въ колBна: вкyпэ же потек0ша на мS: | He has attacked me with the keen glances of his eyes; with his sharp spear he has smitten me down upon my knees; and they have run upon me with one accord. |
|

| предадe бо мS гDь въ рyки непрaведныхъ, нечести6вымъ же повeрже мS. | For the Lord has delivered me into the hands of unrighteous men, and thrown me upon the ungodly. |
|

| Ми1рствующа разсhпа мS, взsвъ мS за власы2 њборвA, постaви мS ѓки примёту. | When I was at peace he distracted me: he took me by the hair of the head, and plucked it out: he set me up as a mark. |

| Њбыд0ша мS к0піzми бодyще во и3стeсы мо‰, не щадsще: и3зліsша на зeмлю жeлчь мою2, | They surrounded me with spears, aiming at my reins: without sparing me they poured out my gall upon the ground. |

| низложи1ша мS трyпъ на трyпъ, тек0ша ко мнЁ могyщіи, | They overthrew me with fall upon fall: they ran upon me in their might. |
|

|
| врeтище соши1ша на к0жу мою2, и3 м0щь моS на земли2 ўгасE. | They sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and my strength has been spent on the ground. |
|

|
| Чрeво моE сгорЁ t плaча, на вёждахъ же мои1хъ стёнь смeртнаz, | My belly has been parched with wailing, and darkness is on my eyelids. |
|

|
| непрaведно же ни є3ди1но бЁ въ рукY моє1ю: моли1тва же моS чистA. | Yet there was no injustice in my hands, and my prayer is pure. |
|

18
|
| ЗемлE, да не покрhеши над8 кр0вію пл0ти моеS, нижE да бyдетъ мёсто в0плю моемY. | Earth, cover not over the blood of my flesh, and let my cry have no place. |
|

|
| И# нн7э сE, на нб7сёхъ п0слухъ м0й, свидётель же ми2 во вhшнихъ. | And now, behold, my witness is in heaven, and my advocate is on high. |
|

|
| Да пріи1детъ моS мольбA ко гDу, пред8 ни1мже да кaплетъ џко моE. | Let my supplication come to the Lord, and let mine eye weep before him. |
|

|
| Бyди же њбличeніе мyжу пред8 гDемъ, и3 сhну человёческому ко бли1жнему є3гw2. | Oh that a man might plead before the Lord, even as the son of man with his neighbour! |
|

|
| ЛBта же и3зочтє1наz пріид0ша, и3 путeмъ, и4мже не возвращyсz, пойдY. | But my years are numbered and their end come, and I shall go by the way by which I shall not return. |
