| Тлёю дyхомъ носи1мь, прошy же гр0ба и3 не ўлучaю. | I perish, carried away by the wind, and I seek for burial, and obtain it not. |

| Молю2 болёзнуz, и3 что2 сотворю2; ўкрад0ша же ми2 и3мёніе чуждjи. | Weary I intreat; and what have I done? and strangers have stolen my goods. |

| Кт0 є3сть сeй; рук0ю моeю свsзанъ да бyдетъ. | Who is this? let him join hands with me. |

| Ћкw сeрдце и4хъ сокрhлъ є3си2 t мyдрости, сегw2 рaди да не вознесeши и4хъ. | For thou hast hid their heart from wisdom; therefore thou shalt not exalt them. |

| Чaсти возвэсти1тъ ѕлHбы: џчи же на сынёхъ и3стazста. | He shall promise mischief to his companions: but their eyes have failed for their children. |

| Положи1лъ же мS є3си2 въ при1тчу во kзhцэхъ, смёхъ же бhхъ и5мъ. | But thou hast made me a byword among the nations, and I am become a scorn to them. |

| Њслэп0ста бо t гнёва џчи мои2, повоевaнъ бhхъ вельми2 t всёхъ: | For my eyes are dimmed through pain; I have been grievously beset by all. |

| чyдо њб8S и4стинныхъ њ сeмъ, прaведникъ же на беззак0нника да востaнетъ: | Wonder has seized true men upon this; and let the just rise up against the transgressor. |

| да содержи1тъ же вёрный пyть св0й, чи1стый же рукaма да пріи1метъ дeрзость. | But let the faithful hold on his own way, and let him that is pure of hands take courage. |

| Но nбaче вси2 належи1те и3 пріиди1те, не бо2 њбрэтaю въ вaсъ и4стины. | Howbeit, do ye all strengthen yourselves and come now, for I do not find truth in you. |

| Днjе мои2 преид0ша въ течeніи, расторг0шасz же ќдове сeрдца моегw2. | My days have passed in groaning, and my heart-strings are broken. |

| Н0щь въ дeнь преложи1хъ: свётъ бли1з8 t лицA тмы2. | I have turned the night into day: the light is short because of darkness. |

| Ѓще бо стерплю2, ѓдъ ми2 є4сть д0мъ, въ сумрaцэ же постлaсz ми2 постeлz. | For if I remain, Hades is my habitation: and my bed has been made in darkness. |

| Смeрть назвaхъ nтцA моего2 бhти, мaтерь же и3 сестрy ми гн0й. | I have called upon death to be my father, and corruption to be my mother and sister. |

| ГдЁ ќбw є3щE є4сть ми2 надeжда, и3ли2 благ†z мо‰ ўзрю2; | Where then is yet my hope? or where shall I see my good? |

| и3ли2 со мн0ю во ѓдъ сни1дутъ, и3ли2 вкyпэ въ пeрсть сни1демъ. | Will they go down with me to Hades, or shall we go down together to the tomb? |
