Приложи1въ же є3щE є3ліyсъ, речE:

And Elius further continued, and said,
|

|
пожди1 ми мaлw є3щE, да тS научY: є3щe бо ў менє2 є4сть сл0во.
|
Wait for me yet a little while, that I may teach thee: for there is yet speech in me.
|
|

|
|
Пріи1мъ хи1трость мою2 tдалeча, дёлы же мои1ми прaвєднаz рекY вои1стинну:
|
Having fetched my knowledge from afar, and according to my works,
|
|

|
4
|
|
и3 не непрaвєдны глаг0лы без8 прaвды ўразумёеши.
|
I will speak just things truly, and thou shalt not unjustly receive unjust words.
|
|

|

|
|
Ви1ждь же, ћкw гDь не tри1нетъ неѕл0бивагw:
|
But know that the Lord will not cast off an innocent man: being mighty in strength of wisdom,
|
|

|

|
|
си1ленъ крёпостію сердцA нечести1выхъ не њживи1тъ и3 сyдъ ни1щымъ дaстъ,
|
he will not by any means save alive the ungodly: and he will grant the judgment of the poor.
|
|
7
|
7
|
|
не tи1метъ t правди1вагw nчeсъ свои1хъ, и3 со цари6 на прест0лэ посади1тъ и5хъ на побёду, и3 вознесyтсz.
|
He will not turn away his eyes from the righteous, but they shall be with kings on the throne: and he will establish them in triumph, and they shall be exalted.
|

|
|
Свsзанніи въ ручнhхъ ќзахъ ћти бyдутъ ќжами нищеты2,
|
But they that are bound in fetters shall be holden in cords of poverty.
|
|

|

|
|
и3 возвэсти1тъ и5мъ дэлA и4хъ и3 прегрэшeніе и4хъ, ћкw ўкрэпsтсz:
|
And he shall recount to them their works, and their transgressions, for such will act with violence.
|
|

|

|
|
но правди1ваго ўслhшитъ, и3 речE, ћкw њбратsтсz t непрaвды.
|
But he will hearken to the righteous: and he has said that they shall turn from unrighteousness.
|
|

|

|
|
Ѓще ўслhшатъ и3 пораб0таютъ, скончaютъ дни6 сво‰ во благи1хъ и3 лBта сво‰ въ благолёпотэ:
|
If they should hear and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in honour.
|
|
12
|
12
|
|
нечести1выхъ же не спасeтъ, занE не хотёша познaти гDа и3 занeже ўчи1ми не послушли1ви бёша.
|
But he preserves not the ungodly; because they are not willing to know the Lord, and because when reproved they were disobedient.
|
|

|
13
|
|
И# лицемёри сeрдцемъ возмутsтъ ћрость: не возопію1тъ, ћкw свzзA и5хъ:
|
And the hypocrites in heart will array wrath against themselves; they will not cry, because he has bound them.
|
|

|
14
|
|
да ќмретъ u5бо въ ю4ности душA и4хъ, житіe же и4хъ ўzзвлsемо ѓгGлы,
|
Therefore let their soul die in youth, and their life be wounded by messengers of death.
|
|

|
15
|
|
занeже њскорби1ша недyжна и3 нeмощна, сyдъ же кр0ткихъ и3зложи1тъ.
|
Because they afflicted the weak and helpless: and he will vindicate the judgment of the meek.
|
|

|

|
|
Е#щe же и3ст0ргну тS t ќстъ врaжіихъ: бeздна, проли1тіе под8 нeю, и3 сни1де трапeза твоS и3сп0лнена тyка.
|
And he has also enticed thee out of the mouth of the enemy:
|
|

|

|
|
Не њскудёетъ же t прaведныхъ сyдъ:
|
there is a deep gulf and a rushing stream beneath it, and thy table came down full of fatness. Judgment shall not fail from the righteous;
|
|

|
18
|
|
ћрость же на нечести6выz бyдетъ, нечeстіz рaди дарHвъ и4хъ, и5хже пріимaху на непрaвдэ.
|
but there shall be wrath upon the ungodly, by reason of the ungodliness of the bribes which they received for iniquities.
|
|

|

|
|
Да не ўклони1тъ тS в0лею ќмъ t мольбы2 въ бэдЁ сyщихъ немощнhхъ и3 всёхъ содержaщихъ крёпость.
|
Let not thy mind willingly turn thee aside from the petition of the feeble that are in distress.
|
|

|

|
|
Не привлецы2 н0щи, є4же взhти лю1демъ вмёстw и4хъ:
|
And draw not forth all the mighty men by night, so that the people should go up instead of them.
|
|

|

|
|
но сохрани1сz, да не содёеши ѕлA: си1хъ бо рaди и3з8sтъ є3си2 t нищеты2.
|
But take heed lest thou do that which is wrong: for of this thou hast made choice because of poverty.
|
|

|
|
СE, крёпкій ўдержи1тъ крёпостію своeю: кт0 бо є4сть, ћкоже т0й, си1ленъ;
|
Behold, the Mighty One shall prevail by his strength: for who is powerful as he is?
|
|

|
23
|
|
и3 кто2 є4сть и3спытyzй дёлъ є3гw2; и3ли2 кто2 рекjй: содёz непрaвду;
|
And who is he that examines his works? or who can say, He has wrought injustice?
|
|

|

|
|
Помzни2, ћкw вє1ліz дэлA є3гw2 сyть, и4миже владёша мyжіе.
|
Remember that his works are great beyond those which men have attempted.
|
|

|
|
Всsкъ человёкъ ви1дитъ въ себЁ, є3ли1цы ўzзвлsеми сyть человёцы.
|
Every man has seen in himself, how many mortals are wounded.
|
|

|
|
СE, крёпкій вели1кій, и3 не ўвёмы: число2 лётъ є3гw2 безконeчное:
|
Behold, the Mighty One is great, and we shall not know him: the number of his years is even infinite.
|
|

|
|
и3зочтє1нны же є3мY сyть к†пли дождє1вныz, и3 и3злію1тсz дождeмъ во w4блакъ:
|
And the drops of rain are numbered by him, and shall be poured out in rain to form a cloud.
|
|

|
|
потекyтъ њбетш†ніz, њсэни1ша же w4блацы над8 премн0гими людьми2: врeмz постaви скотY, вёдzтъ же л0жа чи1нъ. Њ всёхъ си1хъ не диви1тлитисz ќмъ, и3 не и3змэнsетлисz ти2 сeрдце t тёла;
|
The ancient heavens shall flow, and the clouds overshadow innumerable mortals: he has fixed a time to cattle, and they know the order of rest. Yet by all these things thy understanding is not astonished, neither is thy mind disturbed in thy body.

|
И# ѓще ўразумёетъ простeртіе w4блака, рaвенство ски1ніи є3гw2:
|
And though one should understand the outspreadings of the clouds, or the measure of his tabernacle;
|
|
30
|

|
|
сE, простирaетъ на ню2 свётъ и3 корє1ніz морск†z покры2:
|
behold he will stretch his bow against him, and he covers the bottom of the sea.
|
|
31
|
31
|
|
тёми бо сyдитъ лю1демъ, дaстъ пи1щу могyщему.
|
For by them he will judge the nations: he will give food to him that has strength.
|
|

|

|
|
На рукY покры2 свётъ и3 заповёда њ нeмъ срэтaющему:
|
He has hidden the light in his hands, and given charge concerning it to the interposing cloud.
|
|
33
|

|
|
возвэсти1тъ њ нeмъ дрyгу своемY гDь, стzжaніе, и3 њ непрaвдэ.
|
The Lord will declare concerning this to his friend: but there is a portion also for unrighteousness.
