| O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried by day and in the night before thee. | Гдⷭ҇и бж҃е спⷭ҇нїѧ моегѡ̀, во днѝ воззва́хъ и҆ въ нощѝ пред̾ тобо́ю: |

| Let my prayer come in before thee; incline thine ear to my supplication, O Lord. | да вни́детъ пред̾ тѧ̀ моли́тва моѧ̀, приклонѝ оу҆́хо твоѐ къ моле́нїю моемꙋ̀. |

| For my soul is filled with troubles, and my life has drawn nigh to Hades. | Ꙗ҆́кѡ и҆спо́лнисѧ ѕѡ́лъ дꙋша̀ моѧ̀, и҆ живо́тъ мо́й а҆́дꙋ прибли́жисѧ. |

| I have been reckoned with them that go down to the pit; I became as a man without help; | Привмѣне́нъ бы́хъ съ низходѧ́щими въ ро́въ: бы́хъ ꙗ҆́кѡ человѣ́къ без̾ по́мощи, |

| free among the dead, as the slain ones cast out, who sleep in the tomb; whom thou rememberest no more; and they are rejected from thy hand. | въ ме́ртвыхъ свобо́дь: ꙗ҆́кѡ ꙗ҆́звеннїи спѧ́щїи во гро́бѣ, и҆́хже не помѧнꙋ́лъ є҆сѝ ктомꙋ̀, и҆ ті́и ѿ рꙋкѝ твоеѧ̀ ѿринове́ни бы́ша. |

| They laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, and in the shadow of death. | Положи́ша мѧ̀ въ ро́вѣ преиспо́днѣмъ, въ те́мныхъ и҆ сѣ́ни сме́ртнѣй. |

| Thy wrath has pressed heavily upon me, and thou hast brought upon me all thy billows. Pause. | На мнѣ̀ оу҆тверди́сѧ ꙗ҆́рость твоѧ̀, и҆ всѧ̑ вѡ́лны твоѧ̑ наве́лъ є҆сѝ на мѧ̀. |

| Thou hast removed my acquaintance far from me; they have made me an abomination to themselves; I have been delivered up, and have not gone forth. | Оу҆да́лилъ є҆сѝ зна́емыхъ мои́хъ ѿ менє̀: положи́ша мѧ̀ ме́рзость себѣ̀: пре́данъ бы́хъ и҆ не и҆схожда́хъ. |

| Mine eyes are dimmed from poverty; but I cried to thee, O Lord, all the day; I spread forth my hands to thee. | Ѻ҆́чи моѝ и҆знемого́стѣ ѿ нищеты̀: воззва́хъ къ тебѣ̀, гдⷭ҇и, ве́сь де́нь, воздѣ́хъ къ тебѣ̀ рꙋ́цѣ моѝ. |

| Wilt thou work wonders for the dead? or shall physicians raise them up, that they shall praise thee? | Є҆да̀ ме́ртвыми твори́ши чꙋдеса̀; и҆лѝ вра́чеве воскресѧ́тъ, и҆ и҆сповѣ́дѧтсѧ тебѣ̀; |

| Shall any one declare thy mercy in the tomb? and thy truth in destruction? | Є҆да̀ повѣ́сть кто̀ во гро́бѣ млⷭ҇ть твою̀, и҆ и҆́стинꙋ твою̀ въ поги́бели; |

| Shall thy wonders be known in darkness? and thy righteousness in a forgotten land? | Є҆да̀ позна̑на бꙋ́дꙋтъ во тмѣ̀ чꙋдеса̀ твоѧ̑, и҆ пра́вда твоѧ̀ въ землѝ забве́ннѣй; |

| But I cried to thee, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee. | И҆ а҆́зъ къ тебѣ̀, гдⷭ҇и, воззва́хъ, и҆ оу҆́трѡ моли́тва моѧ̀ предвари́тъ тѧ̀. |

| Wherefore, O Lord, dost thou reject my prayer, and turn thy face away from me? | Вскꙋ́ю, гдⷭ҇и, ѿрѣ́еши дꙋ́шꙋ мою̀; ѿвраща́еши лицѐ твоѐ ѿ менє̀; |

| I am poor and in troubles from my youth; and having been exalted, I was brought low and into despair. | Ни́щъ є҆́смь а҆́зъ, и҆ въ трꙋдѣ́хъ ѿ ю҆́ности моеѧ̀: возне́сжесѧ смири́хсѧ и҆ и҆знемого́хъ. |

| Thy wrath has passed over me; and thy terrors have greatly disquieted me. | На мнѣ̀ преидо́ша гнѣ́ви твоѝ, оу҆страшє́нїѧ твоѧ̑ возмꙋти́ша мѧ̀: |

| They compassed me like water; all the day they beset me together. | ѡ҆быдо́ша мѧ̀ ꙗ҆́кѡ вода̀ ве́сь де́нь, ѡ҆держа́ша мѧ̀ вкꙋ́пѣ. |

| Thou hast put far from me every friend, and mine acquaintances because of my wretchedness. | Оу҆да́лилъ є҆сѝ ѿ менє̀ дрꙋ́га и҆ и҆́скреннѧго, и҆ зна́емыхъ мои́хъ ѿ страсте́й. |
