| Сказав також Ісус ученикам: неможливо не прийти спокусам; але горе тому, через кого вони приходять. | And he said unto the disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come! |
|

| Краще було б йому, якби жорно млинове повісили йому на шию і кинули його в море, ніж щоб він спокусив одного з малих цих. | It were well for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble. |
|

|
| Пильнуйте за собою. Якщо ж согрішить проти тебе брат твій, докори йому; і коли покається, прости йому; | Take heed to yourselves: and if thy brother sin against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. |
|

|
| і коли сім разів на день згрішить проти тебе і сім разів на день звернеться і скаже: каюсь, — прости йому. | And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times in the day turn again, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. |
|

|
| І сказали апостоли Господу: додай нам віри. | And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. |
|

|
| Господь сказав: коли б ви мали віру, як зерно гірчичне, і сказали смоковниці цій: вирвись і пересадись у море, то вона послухала б вас. | And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you. |

| Хто з вас, маючи раба, який оре або пасе, як тільки він повернеться з поля, скаже йому: іди мерщій та сідай до столу? | But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say straightaway, when he is come in from the field, Come and sit down to meat; |
|

|
| Навпаки, чи не скаже йому: приготуй мені повечеряти та, підперезавшись, прислуговуй мені, доки буду їсти і пити, а потім їж і пий сам? | and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? |

| Чи ж стане він дякувати рабові тому за те, що він виконав наказ? Не думаю. | Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not. |
|

| Так і ви, коли виконаєте все, що вам наказувалося, кажіть: ми раби нікчемні; бо зробили тільки те, що повинні були зробити. | Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; for we have done that which it was our duty to do. |

| Йдучи до Єрусалима, Він проходив між Самарією та Галилеєю. | And it came to pass, as he was on the way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee. |
|

|
| І коли входив Він в одне село, зустріли Його десять чоловік прокажених, які зупинилися віддалік. | And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off: |
|

|
| І вони гучним голосом говорили: Ісусе, Наставнику, помилуй нас. | and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. |
|

|

|
| Побачивши їх, Він сказав їм: підіть покажіться священикам. І коли вони йшли, очистилися. | And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed. |
|

|
| Один же з них, побачивши, що зцілився, повернувся, гучним голосом прославляючи Бога, | And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God; |
|

|

|
| і припав лицем до ніг Його, віддаючи Йому хвалу; і це був самарянин. | and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. |
|

|
| Тоді Ісус сказав: чи не десять очистилися? Де ж дев’ять? | And Jesus answered and said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine? |
|

|
18
|
| Чому вони не повернулися віддати славу Богові, тільки іноплемінник цей? | Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger? |
|

|
| І сказав йому: встань, іди; віра твоя спасла тебе. | And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. |
|

|
| А як фарисеї запитали Його: коли прийде Царство Боже? — відповів їм: не прийде Царство Боже помітно, | And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: |
|

|
| і не скажуть: ось, воно тут, або: он там. Бо Царство Боже всередині вас є. | neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you. |
|

|
| Сказав також ученикам: прийдуть дні, коли бажатимете бачити хоч один з днів Сина Людського, та не побачите. | And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. |
|

|
| І скажуть вам: ось тут, або: он там, — не ходіть і не ганяйтеся, | And they shall say to you, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! go not away, nor follow after them: |
|

|
| бо, як блискавка, блиснувши від одного краю неба, світить до другого краю неба, так буде Син Людський у день Свій. | for as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day. |
|

|
| Але насамперед належить Йому багато постраждати і бути відкинутим родом цим. | But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation. |
|

|
| І як було в дні Ноя, так буде і в дні Сина Людського: | And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. |
|
27
|
27
|
| їли, пили, одружувалися і виходили заміж, аж до того дня, як увійшов Ной у ковчег, і прийшов потоп, і погубив усіх. | They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. |
|

|
| Так само, як було й у дні Лота: їли, пили, купували, продавали, саджали, будували; | Likewise also as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; |
|

|

|
| а в той день, в який Лот вийшов з Содома, линули сірка палаюча й вогонь з небес і погубили усіх; | but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all: |
|
30
|
30
|
| так буде і в той день, коли Син Людський явиться. | after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed. |
|

|
| У той день, хто буде на покрівлі, а речі його в домі, нехай не злазить їх узяти; і хто буде на полі, також нехай не повертається назад. | In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back. |
|

|
| Згадайте жінку Лотову. | Remember Lot’s wife. |
|

|
| Хто почне зберігати душу свою, той погубить її; а хто погубить її, той оживить її. | Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose it shall preserve it. |
|

|

|
| Кажу вам: у ту ніч будуть двоє на одній постелі: один візьметься, а другий залишиться. | I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. |
|

|
35
|
| Дві будуть молоти разом: одна візьметься, а друга залишиться. | Two women shall be grinding together; one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. |
|

|
|
| Двоє будуть на полі: один візьметься, а другий залишиться. | |
|

|
| На це сказали Йому: де, Господи? Він же сказав їм: де труп, там зберуться й орли. | And answering, they say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. |
