Глава 21	Chapter 21

1	1
Поглянувши, Він побачив багатіїв, які клали дари свої в скарбницю.	And he looked up, and saw the rich men that were casting their gifts into the treasury.
2	2
Побачив також і одну вбогу вдову, яка туди поклала дві лепти,	And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3	3
і сказав: істинно говорю вам, що ця вбога вдова більше за всіх поклала;	And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, This poor widow cast in more than they all:
4	4
бо всі ті з надміру свого клали в дар Богові, а вона з убогости своєї поклала весь прожиток свій, що мала.	for all these did of their superfluity cast in unto the gifts of God; but she of her want did cast in all the living that she had.

І коли деякі говорили про храм, що він прикрашений коштовним камінням і посудом, Він сказав:	And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and offerings, he said,
6	6
надійдуть дні, в які з того, що ви тут бачите, не залишиться каменя на камені, який не зруйнується.	As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7	7
І запитали Його: Учителю, коли ж це буде? І яке знамення, коли це має статися?	And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when therefore shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when these things are about to come to pass?
8	8
Він сказав: стережіться, щоб вас не ввели в оману: бо багато прийде у Моє ім’я, кажучи, що це Я. І час цей наблизився. Отже, не йдіть слідом за ними.	And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not therefore after them.

Коли ж почуєте про війни та розрухи, не жахайтеся: бо цьому належить бути раніш; але то ще не кінець.	And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.
10	10
Тоді сказав їм: постане народ на народ і царство на царство.	Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
11	11
Будуть великі землетруси місцями, і голод, і пошесті; і жахливі та великі знамення з неба будуть.	and there shall be great earthquakes in diverse places, and famines, and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12	12
А перед усім тим накладуть на вас руки і гнатимуть вас, видаючи в синагоги і у в’язниці, і поведуть перед царів і правителів за ім’я Моє.	But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.

І буде це вам на свідчення.	And it shall turn out unto you for a testimony.
14	14
Отже, покладіть собі у серцях ваших не загадувати наперед, що відповідати,	Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:
15	15
бо Я дам вам уста і премудрість, якій не зможуть противитися, ні суперечити всі супротивники ваші.	for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or to withstand.
16	16
І видаватимуть вас і батьки, і брати, і родичі, і друзі, і декого з вас умертвлять;	But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and kinsfolk, and friends, and brethren; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17	17
і зненавидять вас усі за ім’я Моє.	And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
18	18
Але й волосина з голови вашої не пропаде.	And not a hair of your head shall perish.
19	19
Терпінням вашим спасайте душі ваші.	In your patience win ye your souls.
20	20
Коли ж побачите Єрусалим, обложений військами, знайте, що наблизилося запустіння його.	But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
21	21
Тоді, хто буде в Юдеї, нехай біжать у гори; і хто в місті — нехай виходять з нього, а хто в околицях — нехай не входять до нього,	Then let them that are in Judea flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.
22	22
бо це дні помсти, щоб справдилося все написане.	For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23	23
Горе вагітним і тим, що годують грудьми, в ті дні: бо буде велика біда на землі і гнів на народ цей.	But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath upon this people.
24	24
І поляжуть від гострого меча, і відведені будуть у полон поміж усі народи; і Єрусалим буде потоптаний язичниками, аж доки не скінчаться часи язичників.	And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25	25
І будуть знамення на сонці, і місяці, і зірках, а на землі туга народів від раптового шуму морського і збурення.	And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the billows roaring;
26	26
Люди вмиратимуть від страху і чекання біди, що йде на всесвіт, бо сили небесні захитаються.	men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
27	27
І тоді побачать Сина Людського, Який гряде на хмарах з силою і славою великою.	And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28	28
Коли ж це почне збуватися, тоді ви випростайтесь і підійміть голови ваші, бо наближається визволення ваше.	But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.
29	29
І сказав їм притчу: подивіться на смоковницю та на всі дерева:	And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees:
30	30
коли вони розпускаються, то, дивлячись на це, ви знаєте, що вже близько літо.	when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh.
31	31
Так і ви, коли побачите, що все те збувається, знайте, що близько Царство Боже.	Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.
32	32
Істинно кажу вам: не перейде рід цей, як усе це станеться.	Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished.
33	33
Небо і земля перейдуть, слова ж Мої не перейдуть.	Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34	34
Зважайте на себе, щоб ваші серця не обтяжувались об’їданням та пияцтвом і житейськими турботами, і щоб день той не спостиг вас несподівано,	But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly;

бо він, як сіть, прийде на усе, що живе на поверхні всієї землі.	for as a snare shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth.
36	36
Отже, пильнуйте повсякчас і моліться, щоб ви сподобились уникнути всього того, що має бути, і стати перед Сином Людським.	Watch ye therefore at every season, making supplication, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

У день Він навчав у храмі; а на ніч виходив і перебував на горі, що зветься Елеонською.	And every day he was teaching in the temple; and every night he went out, and lodged in the mount that is called Olivet.
38	38
І всі люди зранку приходили до Нього у храм, щоб послухати Його.	And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
