Глава 22	Chapter 22

1	1
Наближалося свято опрісноків, що зветься Пасхою.	Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

І шукали первосвященики і книжники, як би погубити Його, але боялися народу.	And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death; for they feared the people.

Увійшов сатана в Іуду, званого Іскаріотом, що був з числа дванадцятьох,	And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

і він пішов і говорив з первосвящениками та начальниками, як Його видати їм.	And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them.

Вони зраділи і згодилися дати йому срібників.	And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6	6
І він обіцяв і шукав слушної нагоди, щоб видати їм Його без народу.	And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

Настав же день опрісноків, коли належало заколювати пасхальне ягня.	And the day of unleavened bread came, on which the passover must be sacrificed.

І послав Ісус Петра та Іоана, сказавши: підіть, приготуйте нам їсти паску.	And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.
9	9
Вони ж сказали Йому: де хочеш, щоб ми приготували?	And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we make ready?
10	10
Він сказав їм: ось як увійдете в місто, зустріне вас чоловік, що нестиме глек води; ідіть слідом за ним до того дому, в який він увійде.	And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth.

І скажіть господареві дому: Учитель говорить тобі: де кімната, в якій би Мені їсти паску з учениками Моїми?	And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

І він покаже вам світлицю велику, прибрану; там приготуйте.	And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13	13
Вони пішли і знайшли, як сказав їм, і приготували паску.	And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14	14
І коли настав час, Він возліг, і дванадцять апостолів з Ним,	And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15	15
і сказав їм: дуже бажав Я цю паску їсти з вами, перш ніж зазнаю страждань.	And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16	16
Бо кажу вам, що не буду вже більш їсти її, доки вона не сповниться в Царстві Божому.	for I say unto you, I shall not anymore eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17	17
І, взявши чашу й воздавши хвалу, сказав: прийміть її та розділіть між собою.	And he received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18	18
Бо кажу вам, що не питиму від плоду виноградного, поки не прийде Царство Боже.	for I say unto you, that I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19	19
І, взявши хліб і воздавши хвалу, розломив і подав їм, кажучи: це є Тіло Моє, що за вас віддається; це чиніть на спомин про Мене.	And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20	20
Також і чашу після вечері, кажучи: ця чаша — Новий Завіт у Моїй Крові, що за вас проливається.	In like manner also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, even that which is poured out for you.

І ось рука того, хто зраджує Мене, зі Мною на трапезі.	But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

Проте Син Людський іде, як призначено; але горе тій людині, що Його видає.	And the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed!

І вони почали питати один одного, хто з них є той, що хоче це зробити.	And they began to question among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24	24
Сталася ж між ними і суперечка — хто з них має вважатися за більшого.	And there arose also a contention among them, which of them was accounted to be greatest.
25	25
Він же сказав їм: царі народів панують над ними, і ті, хто володіє ними, доброчинцями звуться.	And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors.
26	26
Ви ж не так: але більший між вами хай буде як менший, а старший — як слуга.	But ye shall not be so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27	27
Бо хто більший: чи той, хто возлежить, чи той, хто услуговує? Чи не той, хто возлежить? А Я посеред вас, як слуга.	For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.

Але ви були зі Мною в напастях Моїх,	But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations;
29	29
і Я заповідаю вам, як заповів Мені Отець Мій, Царство,	and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,
30	30
щоб ви їли і пили на трапезі Моїй у Царстві Моїм, і сядете на престолах судити дванадцять колін Ізраїлевих.	that ye may eat and drink at my table; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Сказав же Господь: Симоне, Симоне! Ось сатана просить вас, щоб сіяти, як пшеницю,	And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:
32	32
але Я молився за тебе, щоб не ослабла віра твоя; і ти колись, навернувшись, утверди братів твоїх.	but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.
33	33
Він відповів Йому: Господи, з Тобою я готовий і у в’язницю, і на смерть іти.	And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.
34	34
Він же промовив: кажу тобі, Петре, не заспіває півень сьогодні, як ти тричі зречешся, що не знаєш Мене.	And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35	35
І сказав їм: коли Я посилав вас без мішка, і без торби, і без взуття, чи мали ви в чому нестаток? Вони відповіли: ні в чому.	And he said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.
36	36
Тоді Він сказав їм: але тепер, хто має мішок, нехай візьме, також і торбу, а в кого немає, нехай продасть одяг свій і купить меч.	He said therefore unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, he shall sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

Бо кажу вам, що оце написане має здійснитися на Мені: і до злочинців прирівняли Його. Бо те, що про Мене, наближається до кінця.	For I say unto you, that this which is written must yet be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for the things concerning me have fulfillment.
38	38
Вони сказали: Господи, ось тут два мечі. Він сказав їм: досить!	And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39	39
І, вийшовши, пішов, за звичаєм, на гору Елеонську; за Ним пішли й ученики Його.	And he came out, and went, as his custom was, unto the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40	40
Прийшовши ж на місце, сказав їм: моліться, щоб не впасти в спокусу.	And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41	41
А Сам відійшов від них, як докинути каменем, і, ставши на коліна, молився,	And he was parted from them about a stone’s cast; and he knelt down and prayed,
42	42
говорячи: Отче, о, коли б Ти благоволив пронести чашу цю мимо Мене! А втім, не Моя воля, а Твоя нехай буде!	saying, Father, if thou be willing to remove this cup from me—nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Явився ж Йому ангел з небес і укріплював Його.	And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.
44	44
І, перебуваючи в борінні, старанніше молився; і був піт Його як краплі крови, що падають на землю.	And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.
45	45
Вставши від молитви, Він прийшов до учеників і знайшов, що вони спали від смутку,	And when he rose up from his prayer, he came unto the disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,
46	46
і сказав їм: чого спите? Встаньте і моліться, щоб не ввійшли у спокусу.	and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.

Коли Він ще говорив це, то ось з’явився народ, і званий Іудою, один з дванадцятьох, ішов попереду. І він приступив до Ісуса, щоб поцілувати Його. Бо такий знак він дав їм: Кого я поцілую, Той і є.	And while he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

Ісус же сказав йому: Іудо! То ти поцілунком Сина Людського видаєш?!	But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

Ті ж, що з Ним були, побачивши, що відбувається, сказали Йому: Господи, чи не вдарити нам мечем?	And when they that were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50	50
І один з них вдарив слугу первосвященика і відсік йому праве вухо.	And a certain one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his right ear.
51	51
Озвався тоді Ісус і сказав: облиште, досить! І, доторкнувшись до його вуха, зцілив його.	But Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye them thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52	52
Сказав Ісус тим, що прийшли по Нього, — первосвященикам і начальникам храму та старійшинам: мов на розбійника, вийшли ви з мечами й киями, щоб узяти Мене!	And Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, that were come against him, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves?

Щодня бував Я з вами у храмі, і ви не здіймали рук на Мене; але тепер ваша година і влада темряви.	When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

Узявши Його, повели і привели Його у двір первосвященика. Петро ж ішов слідом віддалік.	And they seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.
55	55
Коли вони розклали вогонь посеред двору і сіли разом, сів і Петро між ними.	And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and had sat down together, Peter sat in the midst of them.
56	56
Одна служниця побачила його, що він сидить при світлі, і, придивившись до нього, сказала: і цей був з Ним.	And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking steadfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.
57	57
Але він відрікся від Нього, сказавши: жінко, я не знаю Його!	But he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58	58
Невдовзі другий, побачивши його, сказав: і ти з них. Петро ж сказав цьому чоловікові: ні!	And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art one of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.
59	59
Минула ще приблизно година, й хтось інший твердив, говорячи: воістину і цей був з Ним, бо і він галилеянин.	And after the space of about one hour another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this man also was with him; for he is also a Galilean.
60	60
Але Петро сказав тому чоловікові: не знаю, що ти говориш. І зараз же, коли він ще говорив, заспівав півень.	But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, a cock crowed.
61	61
І, обернувшись, Господь глянув на Петра, і Петро згадав слово Господнє, як Він сказав йому: перш ніж півень заспіває, тричі зречешся Мене.	And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how that he said unto him, Before the cock crow thou shalt deny me thrice.

І, вийшовши геть, плакав гірко.	And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63	63
Люди, які тримали Ісуса, глумилися з Нього і били Його.	And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and beat him.
64	64
І, закривши Його, били Його по обличчю і питали Його: проречи, хто Тебе вдарив?	And having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy: who is he that struck thee?
65	65
І багато іншої хули говорили на Нього.	And many other things spake they against him, reviling him.
66	66
А коли настав день, зібралися старійшини народу, первосвященики і книжники, та повели Його у свій синедріон	And as soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people was gathered together, chief priests and scribes; and they led him up into their council, saying,
67	67
і питали: чи Ти Христос? Скажи нам. Він відповів їм: якщо Я скажу вам, не повірите.	If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
68	68
Коли ж Я запитаю вас, не відповісте Мені і не відпустите.	and if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
69	69
Віднині Син Людський сяде праворуч сили Божої.	From henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God.
70	70
І сказали всі: чи Ти Син Божий? Він же відповів: ви говорите, що Я.	And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
71	71
Вони ж сказали: якого ще свідчення нам треба? Самі бо чули з уст Його.	And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.
