| Чaдо, ѓще приступaеши раб0тати гDеви бGу, ўгот0ви дyшу твою2 во и3скушeніе: | My son, if thou come to serve the Lord God, prepare thy soul for temptation. |

| ўпрaви сeрдце твоE и3 потерпи2, и3 не ск0ръ бyди во врeмz наведeніz: | Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. |

| прилэпи1сz є3мY и3 не tступи2, да возрастeши на послёдокъ тв0й. | Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. |

| ВсE є3ли1ко ѓще нанесeно ти2 бyдетъ, пріими2 и3 во и3змэнeніи смирeніz твоегw2 долготерпи2: | Whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. |

| ћкw во nгни2 и3скушaетсz злaто, и3 человёцы пріsтни въ пещи2 смирeніz. | For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity. |

| Вёруй є3мY, и3 застyпитъ тS, и3 ўпрaви пути6 тво‰ и3 ўповaй нaнь. | Believe in him, and he will help thee; order thy way aright, and trust in him. |

| Боsщіисz гDа, пожди1те млcти є3гw2 и3 не ўклони1тесz, да не падeте. | Ye that fear the Lord, wait for his mercy; and go not aside, lest ye fall. |

| Боsщіисz гDа, вёруйте є3мY, и3 не и4мать tпaсти мздA вaша. | Ye that fear the Lord, believe him; and your reward shall not fail. |

| Боsщіисz гDа, надёйтесz на благ†z и3 на весeліе вёка и3 ми6лости. | Ye that fear the Lord, hope for good, and for everlasting joy and mercy. |

| Воззри1те на дрє1вніz р0ды и3 ви1дите, кто2 вёрова гDеви и3 постыдёсz; и3ли2 кто2 пребhсть во стрaсэ є3гw2 и3 њстaвисz; и3ли2 кто2 призвA є3го2, и3 презрЁ и5; | Look at the generations of old, and see; did ever any trust in the Lord, and was confounded? or did any abide in his fear, and was forsaken? or whom did he ever despise, that called upon him? |

| ЗанE щeдръ и3 млcтивъ гDь, и3 њставлsетъ грэхи2, и3 сп7сaетъ во врeмz ск0рби. | For the Lord is full of compassion and mercy, longsuffering, and very pitiful, and forgiveth sins, and saveth in time of affliction. |

| Г0ре сердцaмъ страшли6вымъ и3 рукaмъ њслaблєнымъ, и3 грёшнику ходsщу на двЁ стєзи2. | Woe be to fearful hearts, and faint hands, and the sinner that goeth two ways! |

| Г0ре сeрдцу њслaблену, ћкw не вёруетъ: сегw2 рaди покровeно не бyдетъ. | Woe unto him that is fainthearted! for he believeth not; therefore shall he not be defended. |

| Г0ре вaмъ погyбльшымъ терпёніе: и3 что2 сотворитE, є3гдA посэти1тъ гDь; | Woe unto you that have lost patience! and what will ye do when the Lord shall visit you? |

| Боsщіисz гDа не сумнэвaютсz њ гlг0лэхъ є3гw2, и3 лю1бzщіи є3го2 сохранsтъ пути6 є3гw2. | They that fear the Lord will not disobey his word; and they that love him will keep his ways. |

| Боsщіисz гDа пои1щутъ бlговолeніz є3гw2, и3 лю1бzщіи є3го2 и3сп0лнzтсz зак0на. | They that fear the Lord will seek that which is wellpleasing unto him; and they that love him shall be filled with the law. |

| Боsщіисz гDа ўгот0вzтъ сердцA сво‰ и3 пред8 ни1мъ смирsтъ дyшы сво‰, (глаг0люще:) | They that fear the Lord will prepare their hearts, and humble their souls in his sight, |

| да впадeмъ въ рyцэ гDни, ґ не въ рyцэ человёчєски, ћкw бо вели1чество є3гw2, тaкw и3 млcть є3гw2. | saying, We will fall into the hands of the Lord, and not into the hands of men: for as his majesty is, so is his mercy. |
