| Не ўповaй на и3мBніz тво‰ и3 не и3 рцы2: довHлна ми2 сyть. | Set not thy heart upon thy goods; and say not, I have enough for my life. |

| Не послёдуй души2 твоeй и3 крёпости твоeй, є4же ходи1ти въ п0хотехъ сeрдца твоегw2, | Follow not thine own mind and thy strength, to walk in the ways of thy heart: |

| и3 не рцы2: кт0 мz прем0жетъ; гDь бо мстsй tмсти1тъ ти2. | and say not, Who shall control me for my works? for the Lord will surely revenge thy pride. |

| Не рцы2: согрэши1хъ, и3 чт0 ми бhсть; гDь бо є4сть долготерпэли1въ. | Say not, I have sinned, and what harm hath happened unto me? for the Lord is longsuffering, he will in no wise let thee go. |

| Њ њчищeніи безстрaшенъ не бyди, прилагaти грэхи2 на грэхи2, | Concerning propitiation, be not without fear to add sin unto sin: |

| не рцы2: щедр0та є3гw2 мн0га є4сть, мн0жество грэхHвъ мои1хъ њчcтитъ: | and say not, His mercy is great; he will be pacified for the multitude of my sins: for mercy and wrath come from him, and his indignation resteth upon sinners. |

| млcть бо и3 гнёвъ ў негw2, и3 на грёшницэхъ почjетъ ћрость є3гw2. | Make no tarrying to turn to the Lord, and put not off from day to day: for suddenly shall the wrath of the Lord come forth, and in thy security thou shalt be destroyed, and perish in the day of vengeance. |

| Не мeдли њбрати1тисz ко гDу и3 не tлагaй дeнь t днE: | Set not thine heart upon goods unjustly gotten; for they shall not profit thee in the day of calamity. |

| внезaпу бо и3зhдетъ гнёвъ гDень, и3 во врeмz мє1сти поги1бнеши. | Winnow not with every wind, and go not into every way: for so doth the sinner that hath a double tongue. |

| Не ўповaй на и3мBніz непрaвєдна: ни чи1мже бо ўп0льзуютъ въ дeнь наведeніz. | Be stedfast in thy understanding; and let thy word be the same. |

| Не вёй себE всsкимъ вётромъ и3 не ходи2 всsкимъ путeмъ: си1це грёшникъ двоzзhченъ. | Be swift to hear; and let thy life be sincere; and with patience give answer. |

| Бyди ўтверждeнъ въ рaзумэ твоeмъ, и3 є3ди1но бyди сл0во твоE. | If thou hast understanding, answer thy neighbour; if not, lay thy hand upon thy mouth. |

| Бyди ск0ръ въ слyшаніи твоeмъ, и3 съ долготерпёніемъ tвэщавaй tвётъ. | Honour and shame is in talk: and the tongue of man is his fall. |

| Ѓще є4сть въ тебЁ рaзумъ, tвэщaй и4скреннему: ѓще же ни2, то2 бyди рукA твоS на ўстёхъ твои1хъ. | Be not called a whisperer, and lie not in wait with thy tongue: for a foul shame is upon the thief, and an evil condemnation upon the double tongue. |

| Слaва и3 безчeстіе въ бесёдэ и3 љзhкъ человёчь падeніе є3мY. | Be not ignorant of any thing in a great matter or a small. |

| Не слови2 шепотни1къ и3 љзhкомъ твои1мъ не ўловлsй: | |

|
| на тaти бо стyдъ є4сть и3 заз0ръ лукaвъ над8 двоzзhчнымъ. | |

| Њ вели1цэ и3 њ мaлэ не неразумэвaй. |
