| і Васемафу, дочку Ізмаїла, сестру Наваїофа. | and Basemath, daughter of Ismael, sister of Nabaioth. |

| Ада народила Ісаву Елифаза, Васемафа народила Рагуїла, | And Ada bore to him Eliphas; and Basemath bore Raguel. |

| Оливема народила Ієуса, Ієглома і Корея. Це сини Ісава, що народилися йому в землі Ханаанській. | And Olibema bore Jeus, and Jeglom, and Core; these are the sons of Esau, which were born to him in the land of Chanaan. |

| І взяв Ісав дружин своїх і синів своїх, і дочок своїх, і всіх людей дому свого, й [усі] отари свої, і всю худобу свою, і все майно своє, яке він придбав у землі Ханаанській, і пішов [Ісав] в іншу землю від лиця Якова, брата свого, | And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and all his possessions, and all his cattle, and all that he had got, and all things whatsoever he had acquired in the land of Chanaan; and Esau went forth from the land of Chanaan, from the face of his brother Jacob. |

| тому що майно їх було таке велике, що вони не могли жити разом, і земля подорожування їх не вміщала їх, через безлічі отар їхніх. | For their substance was too great for them to dwell together; and the land of their sojourning could not bear them, because of the abundance of their possessions. |

| І оселився Ісав на горі Сеїр, Ісав, він же Едом. | And Esau dwelt in mount Seir; Esau, he is Edom. |

| І ось родовід Ісава, батька ідумеїв, на горі Сеїр. | And these are the generations of Esau, the father of Edom in the mount Seir. |

| Ось імена синів Ісава: Елифаз, син Ади, дружини Ісавової, і Рагуїл, син Васемафи, дружини Ісавової. | And these are the names of the sons of Esau. Eliphas, the son of Ada, the wife of Esau; and Raguel, the son of Basemath, wife of Esau. |

| Помер Іовав, і зацарював після нього Хушам, із землі феманитян. | And Jobab died; and Asom, from the land of the Thæmanites, reigned in his stead. |

| І помер Хушам, і запанував після нього Гадад, син Бедадів, який переміг мадіанитян на полі Моава; ім’я міста його Авиф. | And Asom died; and Adad son of Barad, who cut off Madiam in the plain of Moab, ruled in his stead; and the name of his city was Getthaim. |

| І помер Гадад, і зацарював після нього Самла з Масреки. | And Adad died; and Samada of Massecca reigned in his stead. |
