| Адам жив сто тридцять [230] років і породив [сина] за подобою своєю [і] за образом своїм, і нарік йому ім’я: Сиф. | And Adam lived two hundred and thirty years, and begot a son after his own form, and after his own image, and he called his name Seth. |

| Днів Адама після народження ним Сифа було вісімсот [700] років, і породив він синів і дочок. | And the days of Adam, which he lived after his begetting Seth, were seven hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters. |

| Усіх же днів життя Адамового було дев’ятсот тридцять років; і він помер. | And all the days of Adam which he lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died. |

| Сиф жив сто п’ять [205] років і породив Єноса. | Now Seth lived two hundred and five years, and begot Enos. |

| І ходив Єнох перед Богом, після народження Мафусала, триста [200] років і породив синів і дочок. | And Enoch was well-pleasing to God after his begetting Mathusala, two hundred years, and he begot sons and daughters. |

| І ходив Єнох перед Богом; і не стало його, тому що Бог узяв його. | And Enoch was well-pleasing to God, and was not found, because God translated him. |

| Мафусал жив сто вісімдесят сім років і породив Ламеха. | And Mathusala lived an hundred and sixty and seven years, and begot Lamech. |

| Після народження Ламеха Мафусал жив сімсот вісімдесят два роки і породив синів і дочок. | And Mathusala lived after his begetting Lamech eight hundred and two years, and begot sons and daughters. |

| Ламех жив сто вісімдесят два [188] роки і породив сина, | And Lamech lived an hundred and eighty and eight years, and begot a son. |

| і дав йому йому ім’я: Ной, сказавши: він утішить нас у ділах наших й у праці рук наших при оброблянні землі, яку прокляв Господь [Бог]. | And he called his name Noe, saying, This one will cause us to cease from our works, and from the toils of our hands, and from the earth, which the Lord God has cursed. |

| Усіх же днів Ламеха було сімсот сімдесят сім [753] років; і він помер. | And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and fifty-three years, and he died. |

|
| Ною було п’ятсот років і породив Ной [трьох синів]: Сима, Хама і Яфета. | And Noe was five hundred years old, and he begot three sons, Sem, Cham, and Japheth. |
