| Hear my prayer, O God, when I make my petition to thee; deliver my soul from fear of the enemy. | Усли́ши, Бо́же, глас мой, внегда́ моли́тимися к Тебі́; от стра́ха вра́жия ізми́ ду́шу мою́. |

| Thou hast sheltered me from the conspiracy of them that do wickedly; from the multitude of them that work iniquity; | Покри́й м'я от со́ньма лука́внующих, от мно́жества ді́лающих непра́вду; |

| who have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they have bent their bow maliciously; | і́же ізостри́ша я́ко меч язи́ки своя́, напряго́ша лук свой, вещ го́рку, |

| to shoot in secret at the blameless; they will shoot him suddenly, and will not fear. | состріля́ти в та́йних непоро́чна; внеза́пу состріля́ють єго́, і не убоя́ться. |

| They have set up for themselves an evil matter, they have given counsel to hide snares; they have said, Who shall see them? | Утверди́ша себі́ сло́во лука́воє; пові́даша скри́ти сіть, рі́ша: кто у́зрить їх? |

| They have searched out iniquity; they have wearied themselves with searching diligently, a man shall approach and the heart is deep, | Іспита́ша беззако́ніє; ізчезо́ша іспита́ющії іспита́нія; присту́пить челові́к, і се́рдце глубоко́. |

| and God shall be exalted, their wounds were caused by the weapon of the foolish children, | І вознесе́ться Бог; стрі́ли младе́нець би́ша я́зви їх, |

| and their tongues have set him at nought, all that saw them were troubled; | і ізнемого́ша на ня язи́ци їх; смути́шася всі ви́дящії їх. |

| and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood his deeds. | І убоя́ся всяк челові́к; і возвісти́ша діла́ Бо́жія, і творе́нія Єго́ разумі́ша. |

| The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and hope on him, and all the upright in heart shall be praised. | Возвесели́ться пра́ведник о Го́споді і упова́єть на Него́; і похва́ляться всі пра́вії се́рдцем. |
