| They have given the dead bodies of thy servants to be food for the birds of the sky, the flesh of thy holy ones for the wild beasts of the earth. | положи́ша Ієрусали́м, я́ко ово́щноє храни́лище; положи́ша тру́пія раб Твої́х бра́шно пти́цям небе́сним, пло́ти преподо́бних Твої́х звіре́м земни́м; |

| They have shed their blood as water, round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them. | пролія́ша кров їх, я́ко во́ду, о́крест Ієрусали́ма, і не бі погреба́яй. |

| We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. | Би́хом поноше́ніє сосі́дом на́шим, подражне́ніє і поруга́ніє су́щим о́крест нас. |

| How long, O Lord? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire? | Доко́лі, Го́споди, прогні́ваєшися до конця́? Разжже́ться, я́ко огнь, рве́ніє Твоє́? |

| Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms which have not called upon thy name. | Проли́й гнів Твой на язи́ки, незна́ющия Тебе́, і на ца́рствія, я́же і́мене Твоєго́ не призва́ша; |

| For they have devoured Jacob, and laid his place waste. | я́ко поядо́ша Іа́кова і мі́сто єго́ опустоши́ша. |

| Remember not our old transgressions; let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us; for we are greatly impoverished. | Не пом'яни́ на́ших беззако́ній пе́рвих; ско́ро да предваря́ть ни щедро́ти Твоя́, Го́споди, я́ко обнища́хом зіло́. |

| Help us, O God our Saviour; for the glory of thy name, O Lord, deliver us; and be merciful to our sins, for thy name's sake. | Помози́ нам, Бо́же, Спаси́телю наш, сла́ви ра́ди і́мене Твоєго́; Го́споди, ізба́ви ни і очи́сти гріхи́ на́ша і́мене ра́ди Твоєго́. |

| Lest haply they should say among the heathen, Where is their God? and let the avenging of thy servants' blood that has been shed be known among the heathen before our eyes. | Да не когда́ реку́ть язи́ци: гді єсть Бог їх? І да уві́сться во язи́ціх пред очи́ма на́шима отмще́ніє кро́ве раб Твої́х пролити́я. |

| Let the groaning of the prisoners come in before thee; according to the greatness of thine arm preserve the sons of the slain ones. | Да вни́деть пред Тя воздиха́ніє окова́нних; по вели́чію ми́шці Твоєя́ снабди́ си́ни умерщвле́нних. |

| Repay to our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, with which they have reproached thee, O Lord. | Возда́ждь сосі́дом на́шим седмери́цею в ні́дро їх поноше́ніє їх, і́мже поноси́ша Тя, Го́споди. |

| For we are thy people and the sheep of thy pasture; we will give thee thanks for ever; we will declare thy praise throughout all generations. | Ми же, лю́діє Твої́ і о́вці па́житі Твоєя́, іспові́мися Тебі́, Бо́же, во вік, в род і род возвісти́м хвалу́ Твою́. |
