| O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath, neither chasten me in thine anger. | Го́споди, да не я́ростію Твоє́ю обличи́ши мене́, ніже́ гні́вом Твої́м нака́жеши мене́; |

| For thy weapons are fixed in me, and thou hast pressed thy hand heavily upon me. | я́ко стрі́ли Твоя́ уньзо́ша во мні, і утверди́л єси́ на мні ру́ку Твою́. |

| For there is no health in my flesh because of thine anger; there is no peace to my bones because of my sins. | Ність ізціле́нія в пло́ті моє́й от лиця́ гні́ва Твоєго́, ність ми́ра в косте́х мої́х от лиця́ гріх мої́х. |

| For my transgressions have gone over mine head: they have pressed heavily upon me like a weighty burden. | Я́ко беззако́нія моя́ превзидо́ша главу́ мою́, я́ко бре́м'я тя́жкоє отяготі́ша на мні. |

| My bruises have become noisome and corrupt, because of my foolishness. | Возсмерді́ша і согни́ша ра́ни моя́, от лиця́ безу́мія моєго́. |

| I have been wretched and bowed down continually: I went with a mourning countenance all the day. | Пострада́х і сляко́хся до конця́, весь день сі́туя хожда́х; |
|

| For my soul is filled with mockings; and there is no health in my flesh. | я́ко ля́двія моя́ напо́лнишася поруга́ній, і ність ізціле́нія в пло́ті моє́й. |

| I have been afflicted and brought down exceedingly: I have roared for the groaning of my heart. | Озло́блен бих і смири́хся до зіла́, рика́х от воздиха́нія се́рдця моєго́. |

| But all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hidden from thee. | Го́споди, пред Тобо́ю все жела́ніє моє́, і воздиха́ніє моє́ от Тебе́ не утаї́ся. |

| My heart is troubled, my strength has failed me; and the light of mine eyes is not with me. | Се́рдце моє́ см'яте́ся, оста́ви м'я си́ла моя́, і світ о́чію моє́ю — і той ність со мно́ю. |
|

| My friends and my neighbours drew near before me, and stood still; and my nearest of kin stood afar off. | Дру́зі мої́ і і́скреннії мої́ пря́мо мні прибли́жишася і ста́ша. |
|

| While they pressed hard upon me that sought my soul: and they that sought my hurt spoke vanities, and devised deceits all the day. | І бли́жнії мої́ отдале́че мене́ ста́ша, і нужда́хуся і́щущії ду́шу мою́; і і́щущії зла́я мні глаго́лаху су́єтная, і льсти́вним весь день поуча́хуся. |

| But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and was as a dumb man not opening his mouth. | Аз же, я́ко глух, не сли́шах, і я́ко нім не отверза́яй уст свої́х; |

| And I was as a man that hears not, and who has no reproofs in his mouth. | і бих я́ко челові́к не сли́шай і не іми́й во усті́х свої́х обличе́нія. |

|
| For I hoped in thee, O Lord: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God. | Я́ко на Тя, Го́споди, упова́х, Ти усли́шиши, Го́споди, Бо́же мой. |

| For I said, Lest mine enemies rejoice against me: for when my feet were moved, they spoke boastingly against me. | Я́ко ріх: да не когда́ пора́дуютьмися вразі́ мої́; і внегда́ подвижа́тися нога́м мої́м, на м'я велері́чеваша. |

| For I am ready for plagues, and my grief is continually before me. | Я́ко аз на ра́ни гото́в, і болі́знь моя́ пре́до мно́ю єсть ви́ну. |

| For I will declare mine iniquity, and be distressed for my sin. | Я́ко беззако́ніє моє́ аз возвіщу́ і попеку́ся о грісі́ моє́м. |
|

|
| But mine enemies live, and are mightier than I: and they that hate me unjustly are multiplied. | Вразі́ же мої́ живу́ть і укріпи́шася па́че мене́, і умно́жишася ненави́дящії м'я без пра́вди; |

| They that reward evil for good slandered me; because I followed righteousness. | воздаю́щії мі зла́я воз блага́я оболга́ху м'я, зане́ гоня́х благости́ню. |
|

| Forsake me not, O Lord my God: depart not from me. | Не оста́ви мене́, Го́споди Бо́же мой, не отступи́ от мене́; |
|

|
| Draw nigh to my help, O Lord of my salvation. | воньми́ в по́мощ мою́, Го́споди спасе́нія моєго́. |
