|
|
But my feet were almost overthrown; my goings very nearly slipped.
|
Коль благ Бог Ізра́їлев пра́вим се́рдцем.
|
|

|
|
For I was jealous of the transgressors, beholding the tranquillity of sinners.
|
Мої́ же вма́лі не подвижа́стіся но́зі; вма́лі не пролія́шася стопи́ моя́;
|
|
4
|

|
|
For there is no sign of reluctance in their death: and they have firmness under their affliction.
|
я́ко возревнова́х на беззако́нния, мир грі́шников зря;
|
|
5
|

|
|
They are not in the troubles of other men; and they shall not be scourged with other men.
|
я́ко ність восклоне́нія в сме́рті їх і утвержде́нія в ра́ні їх;
|
|

|

|
|
Therefore pride has possessed them; they have clothed themselves with their injustice and ungodliness.
|
в труді́х челові́чеських не суть, і с челові́ки не при́ймуть ран.
|
|

|

|
|
Their injustice shall go forth as out of fatness: they have fulfilled their intention.
|
Сего́ ра́ди удержа́ я горди́ня їх до конця́; оді́яшася непра́вдою і нече́стієм свої́м.
|
|

|

|
|
They have taken counsel and spoken in wickedness: they have uttered unrighteousness loftily.
|
Ізи́деть, я́ко із ту́ка, непра́вда їх; прейдо́ша в любо́в се́рдця.
|
|

|

|
|
They have set their mouth against heaven, and their tongue has gone through upon the earth.
|
Поми́слиша і глаго́лаша в лука́встві, непра́вду в висоту́ глаго́лаша;
|
|
10
|

|
|
Therefore shall my people return hither: and full days shall be found with them.
|
положи́ша на небесі́ уста́ своя́, і язи́к їх пре́йде по землі́.
|
|

|

|
|
And they said, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the Most High?
|
Сего́ ра́ди обратя́ться лю́діє мої́ сі́мо, і дні́є іспо́лнені обря́щуться в них.
|
|

|

|
|
Behold, these are the sinners, and they that prosper always: they have possessed wealth.
|
І рі́ша: ка́ко уві́ді Бог? І а́ще єсть ра́зум в ви́шнім?
|
|

|

|
|
And I said, Verily in vain have I justified my heart, and washed my hands in innocency.
|
Се, сі́ї грі́шници і гобзу́ющії в вік удержа́ша бога́тство.
|
|
14
|

|
|
For I was plagued all the day, and my reproof was every morning.
|
І ріх: єда́ [у́бо] всу́є оправди́х се́рдце моє́ і уми́х в непови́нних ру́ці мої́,
|
|
15
|
14
|
|
If I said, I will speak thus; behold, I should have broken covenant with the generation of thy children.
|
і бих я́звен весь день, і обличе́ніє моє́ на у́треніх?
|
|
16
|
15
|
|
And I undertook to understand this, but it is too hard for me,
|
А́ще глаго́лах, пові́м та́ко: се, ро́ду сино́в Твої́х, єму́же обіща́хся [се, ро́ду сино́в Твої́х преступи́х];
|
|

|

|
|
until I go into the sanctuary of God; and so understand the latter end.
|
і непщева́х разумі́ти; сіє́ труд єсть пре́до мно́ю,
|
|
18
|

|
|
Surely thou hast appointed judgments to them because of their crafty dealings: thou hast cast them down when they were lifted up.
|
до́ндеже вни́ду во святи́ло Бо́жиє і разумі́ю в послі́дняя їх.
|
|
19
|

|
|
How have they become desolate! suddenly they have failed: they have perished because of their iniquity.
|
Оба́че за льще́нія їх положи́л єси́ їм зла́я, низложи́л єси́ я, внегда́ разгорди́шася.
|
|

|

|
|
As the dream of one awakening, O Lord, in thy city thou wilt despise their image.
|
Ка́ко би́ша в запусті́ніє? Внеза́пу ізчезо́ша, погибо́ша за беззако́ніє своє́.
|
|

|

|
|
For my heart has rejoiced, and my reins have been gladdened.
|
Я́ко со́ніє востаю́щаго, Го́споди, во гра́ді Твоє́м о́браз їх уничижи́ши.
|
|

|

|
|
But I was vile and knew not: I became brutish before thee.
|
Я́ко разжже́ся се́рдце моє́, і утро́би моя́ ізміни́шася;
|
|
23
|

|
|
Yet I am continually with thee: thou hast holden my right hand.
|
і аз унічиже́н, і не разумі́х, ско́тен бих у Тебе́.
|
|

|

|
|
Thou hast guided me by thy counsel, and thou hast taken me to thyself with glory.
|
І аз ви́ну с Тобо́ю; удержа́л єси́ ру́ку десну́ю мою́,
|
|
25
|

|
|
For what have I in heaven but thee? and what have I desired upon the earth beside thee?
|
і сові́том Твої́м наста́вил м'я єси́, і со сла́вою прия́л м'я єси́.
|
|

|

|
|
My heart and my flesh have failed: but God is the strength of my heart, and God is my portion for ever.
|
Что бо мі єсть на небесі́? І от Тебе́ что восхоті́х на землі́?
|
|

|

|
|
For, behold, they that remove themselves far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed every one that goes a whoring from thee.
|
Ізчезе́ се́рдце моє́ і плоть моя́, Бо́же се́рдця моєго́, і часть моя́, Бо́же, во вік.
|
|

|

|
|
But it is good for me to cleave close to God, to put my trust in the Lord; that I may proclaim all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
|
Я́ко се, удаля́ющії себе́ от Тебе́ поги́бнуть; потреби́л єси́ вся́каго любоді́ющаго от Тебе́.
|
