For the end, a Psalm of David. O God, pass not over my praise in silence;

|
Бо́же, хвали́ моєя́ не премолчи́;
|
for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the crafty man have been opened against me: they have spoken against me with a crafty tongue.
|
|

|
3
|
|
я́ко уста́ грі́шнича і уста́ льсти́ваго на м'я отверзо́шася, глаго́лаша на м'я язи́ком льсти́вим,
|
And they have compassed me with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
|
|

|
|
і словеси́ ненави́стними обидо́ша м'я, і бра́шася со мно́ю ту́не.
|
Instead of loving me, they falsely accused me: but I continued to pray.
|
|

|
|
Вмі́сто є́же люби́ти м'я, оболга́ху м'я, аз же моля́хся;
|
And they rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
|
|

|

|
|
і положи́ша на м'я зла́я за блага́я, і не́нависть за возлюбле́ніє моє́.
|
Set thou a sinner against him; and let the devil stand at his right hand.
|
|

|
|
Поста́ви на него́ грі́шника, і дия́вол да ста́неть одесну́ю єго́;
|
When he is judged, let him go forth condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
|
|

|
8
|
|
внегда́ суди́тися єму́, да ізи́деть осужде́н, і моли́тва єго́ да бу́деть в гріх.
|
Let his days be few: and let another take his office of overseer.
|
|

|

|
|
Да бу́дуть дні́є єго́ ма́лі, і єпи́скопство єго́ да при́йметь ін;
|
Let his children be orphans, and his wife a widow.
|
|

|
10
|
|
да бу́дуть си́нове єго́ си́рі, і жена́ єго́ — вдова́;
|
Let his children wander without a dwelling-place, and beg: let them be cast out of their habitations.
|
|

|
|
дви́жущеся да преселя́ться си́нове єго́ і воспро́сять, да ізгна́ні бу́дуть із домо́в свої́х.
|
Let his creditor exact all that belongs to him: and let strangers spoil his labours.
|
|

|
|
Да взи́щеть займода́вець вся, єли́ка суть єго́; і да восхи́тять чужді́ї труди́ єго́.
|
Let him have no helper; neither let there be any one to have compassion on his fatherless children.
|
|

|
|
Да не бу́деть єму́ засту́пника, ніже́ да бу́деть ущедря́яй сироти́ єго́;
|
Let his children be given up to utter destruction: in one generation let his name be blotted out.
|
|

|
|
да бу́дуть ча́да єго́ в погубле́ніє, в ро́ді єди́нім да потреби́ться і́м'я єго́.
|
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
|
|

|
|
Да воспом'яне́ться беззако́ніє оте́ць єго́ пред Го́сподем, і гріх ма́тере єго́ да не очи́ститься;
|
Let them be before the Lord continually; and let their memorial be blotted out from the earth.
|
|

|
|
да бу́дуть пред Го́сподем ви́ну, і да потреби́ться от землі́ па́м'ять їх;
|
Because he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the needy and poor man, and that to slay him that was pricked in the heart.
|
|

|
|
зане́же не пом'яну́ сотвори́ти ми́лость, і погна́ челові́ка ни́ща і убо́га, і умиле́на се́рдцем умертви́ти.
|
He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; and he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him.
|

|
|
І возлюби́ кля́тву, і при́йдеть єму́; і не восхоті́ благослове́нія, і удали́ться от него́.
|
Yea, he put on cursing as a garment, and it is come as water into his bowels, and as oil into his bones.
|
|

|
|
І облече́ся в кля́тву, я́ко в ри́зу, і вни́де, я́ко вода́, во утро́бу єго́ і, я́ко єле́й, в ко́сті єго́;
|
Let it be to him as a garment which he puts on, and as a girdle with which he girds himself continually.
|
|

|
|
да бу́деть єму́, я́ко ри́за, в ню́же облачи́ться, і, я́ко по́яс, і́мже ви́ну опоясу́ється.
|
This is the dealing of the Lord with those who falsely accuse me, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
|
|

|
|
Сіє́ ді́ло оболга́ющих м'я у Го́спода і глаго́лющих лука́вая на ду́шу мою́.
|
But thou, O Lord, Lord, deal mercifully with me, for thy name's sake: for thy mercy is good.
|
|

|
|
І Ти, Го́споди, Го́споди, сотвори́ со мно́ю і́мене ра́ди Твоєго́, я́ко бла́га ми́лость Твоя́;
|
Deliver me, for I am poor and needy; and my heart is troubled within me.
|
|

|
|
ізба́ви м'я, я́ко нищ і убо́г єсьм аз, і се́рдце моє́ см'яте́ся внутр мене́.
|
I am removed as a shadow in its going down: I am tossed up and down like locusts.
|
|

|
|
Я́ко сінь, внегда́ уклони́тися єй, отя́хся; стрясо́хся, я́ко пру́зи.
|
My knees are weakened through fasting, and my flesh is changed by reason of the want of oil.
|
|

|
|
Колі́на моя́ ізнемо́госта от посту, і плоть моя́ ізміни́ся єле́я ра́ди.
|
I became also a reproach to them: when they saw me they shook their heads.
|
|

|
|
І аз бих поноше́ніє їм; ви́діша м'я, покива́ша глава́ми свої́ми.
|
Help me, O Lord my God; and save me according to thy mercy.
|
|

|
|
Помози́ мі, Го́споди Бо́же мой, і спаси́ м'я по ми́лості Твоє́й;
|
And let them know that this is thy hand; and that thou, Lord, hast wrought it.
|

|
|
і да разумі́ють, я́ко рука́ Твоя́ сія́, і Ти, Го́споди, сотвори́л єси́ ю.
|
Let them curse, but thou shalt bless: let them that rise up against me be ashamed, but let thy servant rejoice.
|

|
|
Проклену́ть ті́ї, і Ти благослови́ши; востаю́щії на м'я да постидя́ться, раб же Твой возвесели́ться.
|
Let those that falsely accuse me be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.
|

|
|
Да облеку́ться оболга́ющії м'я в срамоту́ і оде́ждуться, я́ко оде́ждою, студо́м свої́м.
|
I will give thanks to the Lord abundantly with my mouth; and in the midst of many I will praise him.
|

|
Іспові́мся Го́сподеві зіло́ усти́ мої́ми і посреді́ мно́гих восхвалю́ Єго́;
|
For he stood on the right hand of the poor, to save me from them that persecute my soul.
|

|
|
я́ко преста́ одесну́ю убо́гаго, є́же спасти́ от гоня́щих ду́шу мою́.
