| Что хва́лишися во зло́бі, си́льне? Беззако́ніє весь день, | Why dost thou, O mighty man, boast of iniquity in thy mischief? All the day |

| непра́вду уми́сли язи́к твой; я́ко бри́тву ізощре́ну сотвори́л єси́ лесть. | thy tongue has devised unrighteousness; like a sharpened razor thou hast wrought deceit. |

|
| Возлюби́л єси́ зло́бу па́че благости́ні, непра́вду, не́же глаго́лати пра́вду; | Thou hast loved wickedness more than goodness; unrighteousness better than to speak righteousness. Pause. |
|

| возлюби́л єси́ вся глаго́ли пото́пния, язи́к льстив. | Thou hast loved all words of destruction, and a deceitful tongue. |

| Сего́ ра́ди Бог разруши́ть тя до конця́; восто́ргнеть тя, і пресели́ть тя от селе́нія твоєго́ і ко́рень твой от землі́ живи́х. | Therefore may God destroy thee for ever, may he pluck thee up and utterly remove thee from thy dwelling, and thy root from the land of the living. Pause. |

| У́зрять пра́веднії і убоя́ться, і о нем возсмію́ться і реку́ть: | And the righteous shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him, and say, |

| се, челові́к, і́же не положи́ Бо́га помо́щника себі́, но упова́ на мно́жество бога́тства своєго́, і возмо́же суєто́ю своє́ю. | Behold the man who made not God his help; but trusted in the abundance of his wealth, and strengthened himself in his vanity. |

| Аз же, я́ко ма́слина плодови́та в дому́ Бо́жиї; упова́х на ми́лость Бо́жию во вік і в вік ві́ка. | But I am as a fruitful olive in the house of God: I have trusted in the mercy of God for ever, even for evermore. |

| Іспові́мся Тебі́ в вік, я́ко сотвори́л єси́; і терплю́ і́м'я Твоє́, я́ко бла́го пред преподо́бними Твої́ми. | I will give thanks to thee for ever, for thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. |
