| Го́споди, іскуси́л м'я єси́ і позна́л м'я єси́; Ти позна́л єси́ сіда́ніє моє́ і воста́ніє моє́. | For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, thou hast proved me, and known me. |

| Ти разумі́л єси́ помишле́нія моя́ іздале́ча; | Thou knowest my down-sitting and mine up-rising: thou understandest my thoughts long before. |

| стезю́ мою́ і у́же моє́ Ти єси́ ізслі́довал і вся путі́ моя́ прови́діл єси́. | Thou hast traced my path and my bed, and hast foreseen all my ways. |

| Я́ко ність льсти в язи́ці моє́м; се, Го́споди, Ти позна́л єси́ | For there is no unrighteous word in my tongue: behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things, |

| вся послі́дняя і дре́вняя; Ти созда́л єси́ м'я і положи́л єси́ на мні ру́ку Твою́. | the last and the first: thou hast fashioned me, and laid thine hand upon me. |

| Удиви́ся ра́зум Твой от мене́, утверди́ся, не возмогу́ к Нему́. | The knowledge of thee is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I cannot attain to it. |
|

| Ка́мо пойду́ от Ду́ха Твоєго́? І от лиця́ Твоєго́ ка́мо біжу́? | Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither shall I flee from thy presence? |

| А́ще взи́ду на не́бо, Ти та́мо єси́; а́ще сни́ду во ад, та́мо єси́. | If I should go up to heaven, thou art there: if I should go down to hell, thou art present. |

| А́ще возьму́ крилі́ мої́ ра́но і вселю́ся в послі́дніх мо́ря, | If I should spread my wings to fly straight forward, and sojourn at the extremity of the sea, it would be vain, |
|

| і та́мо бо рука́ Твоя́ наста́вить м'я, і удержи́ть м'я десни́ця Твоя́. | for even there thy hand would guide me, and thy right hand would hold me. |

| І ріх: єда́ тьма попере́ть м'я? І нощ просвіще́ніє в сла́дості моє́й. | When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night was light in my luxury. |
|

|
| Я́ко тьма не помрачи́ться от Тебе́, і нощ я́ко день просвіти́ться; я́ко тьма єя́, та́ко і світ єя́. | For darkness will not be darkness with thee; but night will be light as day: as its darkness, so shall its light be to thee. |

| Я́ко Ти созда́л [стяжа́л] єси́ утро́би моя́, восприя́л м'я єси́ із чре́ва ма́тере моєя́. | For thou, O Lord, hast possessed my reins; thou hast helped me from my mother's womb. |

| Іспові́мся Тебі́, я́ко стра́шно удиви́лся єси́; чу́дна діла́ Твоя́, і душа́ моя́ зна́єть зіло́. | I will give thee thanks; for thou art fearfully wondrous; wondrous are thy works; and my soul knows it well. |

| Не утаї́ся кость моя́ от Тебе́, ю́же сотвори́л єси́ в та́йні, і соста́в мой в преіспо́дніх землі́. | My bones which thou madest in secret were not hidden from thee, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth. |

| Несоді́ланноє моє́ ви́дісті о́чі Твої́, і в кни́зі Твоє́й всі напи́шуться; во днех сози́ждуться, і нікто́же в них. | Thine eyes saw my unwrought substance, and all men shall be written in thy book; they shall be formed by day, though there should for a time be no one among them. |

| Мні же зіло́ че́стні би́ша дру́зі Твої́, Бо́же, зіло́ утверди́шася влади́чествія їх; | But thy friends, O God, have been greatly honoured by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened. |
|

| ізочту́ їх, і па́че піска́ умно́жаться; воста́х, і єще́ єсьм с Тобо́ю. | I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with thee. |

| А́ще ізбіє́ши грі́шники, Бо́же; му́жіє крове́й, уклоні́теся от мене́. | Oh that thou wouldest slay the wicked, O God; depart from me, ye men of blood. |
|

|
| Я́ко ревни́ві єсте́ в помишле́ніїх, при́ймуть в суєту́ гра́ди Твоя́. | For thou wilt say concerning their thought, that they shall take thy cities in vain. |
|

|
| Не ненави́дящия ли Тя, Го́споди, возненави́діх, і о вразі́х Твої́х іста́ях? | Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate thee? and wasted away because of thine enemies? |
|

|
| Соверше́нною не́навистію возненави́діх я; во враги́ би́ша мі. | I have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies. |

|
| Іскуси́ м'я, Бо́же, і уві́ждь се́рдце моє́; істяжи́ м'я і разумі́й стезі́ моя́; | Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths; |
|

|
| і виждь, а́ще путь беззако́нія во мні, і наста́ви м'я на путь ві́чен. | and see if there is any way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way. |
