A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, neither be envious of them that do iniquity.
|

|
Не ревну́й лука́внующим, ніже́ зави́ди творя́щим беззако́ніє.
|
For they shall soon be withered as the grass, and shall soon fall away as the green herbs.
|
|

|

|
|
Зане́ я́ко трава́ ско́ро і́зсшуть, і я́ко зе́ліє зла́ка ско́ро отпаду́ть.
|
Hope in the Lord, and do good; and dwell on the land, and thou shalt be fed with the wealth of it.
|
|

|
|
Упова́й на Го́спода і твори́ благости́ню; і насели́ зе́млю і упасе́шися в бога́тстві єя́.
|
Delight thyself in the Lord; and he shall grant thee the requests of thine heart.
|
|

|

|
|
Наслади́ся Го́сподеві, і дасть ті проше́нія се́рдця твоєго́.
|
Disclose thy way to the Lord, and hope in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
|
|

|

|
|
Откри́й ко Го́споду путь твой і упова́й на Него́, і Той сотвори́ть.
|
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noon-day.
|
|

|
|
І ізведе́ть, я́ко світ, пра́вду твою́ і судьбу́ твою́, я́ко полу́дне.
|
Submit thyself to the Lord, and supplicate him: fret not thyself because of him that prospers in his way, at the man that does unlawful deeds.
|
|

|
8
|
|
Повини́ся Го́сподеві і умоли́ Єго́. Не ревну́й спі́ющему в путі́ своє́м, челові́ку, творя́щему законопреступле́ніє.
|
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself so as to do evil.
|
|

|
9
|
|
Преста́ни от гні́ва і оста́ви я́рость; не ревну́й, є́же лука́вновати,
|
For evil-doers shall be destroyed: but they that wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the land.
|
|

|
10
|
|
зане́ лука́внующії потреб'я́ться, терп'я́щії же Го́спода, ті́ї наслі́дять зе́млю.
|
And yet a little while, and the sinner shall not be, and thou shalt seek for his place, and shalt not find it.
|
|

|
11
|
|
І єще́ ма́ло, і не бу́деть грі́шника; і взи́щеши мі́сто єго́ і не обря́щеши.
|
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
|
|

|
|
Кро́тції же наслі́дять зе́млю і насладя́ться о мно́жестві ми́ра.
|
The sinner will watch for the righteous, and gnash his teeth upon him.
|
|

|
13
|
|
Назира́єть грі́шний пра́веднаго і поскреже́щеть нань зуби́ свої́ми;
|
But the Lord shall laugh at him: for he foresees that his day will come.
|
|

|
14
|
|
Госпо́дь же посміє́ться єму́, зане́ прозира́єть, я́ко при́йдеть день єго́.
|
Sinners have drawn their swords, they have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy one, and to slay the upright in heart.
|
|

|
15
|
|
Мечь ізвлеко́ша грі́шници, напряго́ша лук свой, низложи́ти убо́га і ни́ща, закла́ти пра́вия се́рдцем.
|
Let their sword enter into their own heart, and their bows be broken.
|
|

|
|
Мечь їх да вни́деть в сердця́ їх, і лу́ці їх да сокруша́ться.
|
A little is better to the righteous than abundant wealth of sinners.
|
|

|
|
Лу́чше ма́лоє пра́веднику, па́че бога́тства грі́шних мно́га.
|
For the arms of sinners shall be broken; but the Lord supports the righteous.
|
|

|
18
|
|
Зане́ ми́шці грі́шних сокруша́ться, утвержда́єть же пра́ведния Госпо́дь.
|
The Lord knows the ways of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be for ever.
|
|

|
19
|
|
Вість Госпо́дь путі́ непоро́чних, і достоя́ніє їх в вік бу́деть.
|
They shall not be ashamed in an evil time; and in days of famine they shall be satisfied.
|
|

|
20
|
|
Не постидя́ться во вре́м'я лю́тоє і во днех гла́да наси́тяться, я́ко грі́шници поги́бнуть.
|
For the sinners shall perish; and the enemies of the Lord at the moment of their being honoured and exalted have utterly vanished like smoke.
|
|

|
|
Вразі́ же Госпо́дні, ку́пно просла́витися їм і вознести́ся, ізчеза́юще, я́ко дим, ізчезо́ша.
|
The sinner borrows, and will not pay again: but the righteous has compassion, and gives.
|
|

|
|
Зає́млеть грі́шний і не возврати́ть; пра́ведний же ще́дрить і дає́ть.
|
For they that bless him shall inherit the earth; and they that curse him shall be utterly destroyed.
|
|

|

|
|
Я́ко благословя́щії Єго́ наслі́дять зе́млю, клену́щії же Єго́ потреб'я́ться.
|
The steps of a man are rightly ordered by the Lord: and he will take pleasure in his way.
|
|

|
|
От Го́спода стопи́ челові́ку ісправля́ються, і путі́ єго́ восхо́щеть зіло́.
|
When he falls, he shall not be ruined: for the Lord supports his hand.
|
|

|
|
Єгда́ паде́ть, не разбіє́ться, я́ко Госпо́дь подкріпля́єть ру́ку єго́.
|
I was once young, indeed I am now old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread.
|
|

|
|
Юні́йшій бих, і́бо состарі́хся, і не ви́діх пра́ведника оста́влена, ніже́ сі́мене єго́ прося́ща хлі́би.
|
He is merciful, and lends continually; and his seed shall be blessed.
|
|

|
|
Весь день ми́луєть і взайм дає́ть пра́ведний, і сі́м'я єго́ во благослове́ніє бу́деть.
|
Turn aside from evil, and do good; and dwell for ever.
|
|

|

|
|
Уклони́ся от зла і сотвори́ бла́го, і всели́ся в вік ві́ка.
|
For the Lord loves judgment, and will not forsake his saints; they shall be preserved for ever: the blameless shall be avenged, but the seed of the ungodly shall be utterly destroyed.
|
|

|
|
Я́ко Госпо́дь лю́бить суд і не оста́вить преподо́бних Свої́х; во вік сохраня́ться; беззако́нници же ізжену́ться, і сі́м'я нечести́вих потреби́ться.
|
But the righteous shall inherit the earth, and dwell upon it for ever.

|
Пра́ведници же наслі́дять зе́млю і вселя́ться в вік ві́ка на ней.
|
The mouth of the righteous will meditate wisdom, and his tongue will speak of judgment.
|

|
|
Уста́ пра́веднаго поуча́ться прему́дрости, і язи́к єго́ возглаго́леть суд.
|
The law of his God is in his heart; and his steps shall not slide.
|
|

|
|
Зако́н Бо́га єго́ се́рдці єго́, і не за́пнуться стопи́ єго́.
|
The sinner watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.
|
|
32
|
33
|
|
Сматря́єть грі́шний пра́веднаго і і́щеть, є́же умертви́ти єго́;
|
But the Lord will not leave him in his hands, nor by any means condemn him when he is judged.
|
|

|
34
|
|
Госпо́дь же не оста́вить єго́ в руку́ єго́, ніже́ осу́дить єго́, єгда́ су́дить єму́.
|
Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are destroyed, thou shalt see it.
|

|
|
Потерпи́ Го́спода і сохрани́ путь Єго́, і вознесе́ть Тя, є́же наслі́дити зе́млю; внегда́ потребля́тися грі́шником, у́зриши.
|
I saw the ungodly very highly exalting himself, and lifting himself up like the cedars of Libanus.

|
Ви́діх нечести́ваго превознося́щася і ви́сящася, я́ко ке́дри лива́нськія;
|
Yet I passed by, and lo! he was not: and I sought him, but his place was not found.
|
|

|

|
|
і ми́мо ідо́х, і се не бі, і взиска́х єго́, і не обрі́теся мі́сто єго́.
|
Maintain innocence, and behold uprightness: for there is a remnant to the peaceable man.
|
|

|
|
Храни́ незло́біє і виждь правоту́, я́ко єсть оста́нок челові́ку ми́рну.
|
But the transgressors shall be utterly destroyed together: the remnants of the ungodly shall be utterly destroyed.
|
|

|
39
|
|
Беззако́нници же потреб'я́ться вку́пі; оста́нци же нечести́вих потреб'я́ться.
|
But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; and he is their defender in the time of affliction.
|

40
|
|
Спасе́ніє же пра́ведних от Го́спода, і Защи́титель їх єсть во вре́м'я ско́рби;
|
And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: and he shall rescue them from sinners, and save them, because they have hoped in him.
|
|
40
|
|
|
і помо́жеть їм Госпо́дь, і ізба́вить їх, і і́зметь їх от грі́шник, і спасе́ть їх, я́ко упова́ша на Него́.
