| Гла́сом мої́м ко Го́споду воззва́х, гла́сом мої́м к Бо́гу, і внят мі. | I cried to the Lord with my voice, yea, my voice was addressed to God; and he gave heed to me. |

| В день ско́рби моєя́ Бо́га взиска́х рука́ма мої́ма, но́щію пред Ним, і не прельще́н бих; отве́ржеся уті́шитися душа́ моя́. | In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; even with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted. |

| Пом'яну́х Бо́га і возвесели́хся, поглумля́хся [размишля́х], і малоду́шствоваше дух мой. | I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. Pause. |

| Предвари́сті стражби́ о́чі мої́; см'ято́хся і не глаго́лах. | All mine enemies set a watch against me: I was troubled, and spoke not. |

| Поми́слих дні пе́рвия, і лі́та ві́чная пом'яну́х, і поуча́хся; | I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years. |

| но́щію се́рдцем мої́м глумля́хся, і тужа́ше [размишля́х, і іспи́товаше] дух мой; | And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, saying, |

| єда́ во ві́ки отри́неть Госпо́дь і не приложи́ть благоволи́ти па́ки? | Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more? |

|
| іли́ до конця́ ми́лость Свою́ отсіче́ть, сконча́ глаго́л от ро́да в род? | Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever? |
|

|
| єда́ забу́деть уще́дрити Бог? Іли́ удержи́ть во гні́ві Своє́м щедро́ти Своя́? | Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? Pause. |

| І ріх: ни́ні нача́х, сія́ ізмі́на десни́ці Ви́шняго. | And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High. |

| Пом'яну́х діла́ Госпо́дня; я́ко пом'яну́ от нача́ла чудеса́ Твоя́, | I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember thy wonders from the beginning. |

| і поучу́ся во всіх ді́ліх Твої́х, і в начина́ніїх Твої́х поглумлю́ся [размишля́ти бу́ду]. | And I will meditate on all thy works, and will consider thy doings. |

| Бо́же, во святі́м путь Твой; кто Бог ве́лій, я́ко Бог наш? | O God, thy way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God? |

|
| Ти єси́ Бог творя́й чудеса́; сказа́л єси́ в лю́дех си́лу Твою́, | Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast made known thy power among the nations. |

| ізба́вил єси́ ми́шцею Твоє́ю лю́ди Твоя́, си́ни Іа́ковлі і Іо́сифови. | Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Pause. |

| Ви́діша Тя во́ди, Бо́же, ви́діша Тя во́ди і убоя́шася; см'ято́шася бе́здни. | The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee, and feared; and the depths were troubled. |
|

| Мно́жество шу́ма вод; глас да́ша о́блаци, і́бо стрі́ли Твоя́ прехо́дять. | There was an abundant sound of waters: the clouds uttered a voice; for thine arrows went abroad. |

| Глас гро́ма Твоєго́ в колесі́, освіти́ша мо́лнія Твоя́ вселе́нную; подви́жеся і тре́петна бисть земля́. | The voice of thy thunder was abroad, and around thy lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled and quaked. |

|
| В мо́рі путіє́ Твої́, і стезі́ Твоя́ в вода́х мно́гих, і сліди́ Твої́ не позна́ються. | Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in many waters, and thy footsteps cannot be known. |

| Наста́вил єси́, я́ко о́вці, лю́ди Твоя́ руко́ю Моїсе́йовою і Ааро́нею. | Thou didst guide thy people as sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron. |
