| Го́споди, прибі́жище бил єси́ нам в род і род. | Before the mountains existed, and before the earth and the world were formed, even from age to age, Thou art. |

| Пре́жде да́же гора́м не би́ти і созда́тися землі́ і вселе́нній, і от ві́ка і до ві́ка Ти єси́. | Turn not man back to his low place, whereas thou saidst, Return, ye sons of men? |
|

|
| Не отврати́ челові́ка во смире́ніє, і рекл єси́: обраті́теся, си́нове челові́честії. | For a thousand years in thy sight are as the yesterday which is past, and as a watch in the night. |
|

|
| Я́ко ти́сяща літ пред очи́ма Твої́ма, Го́споди, я́ко день вчера́шній, і́же ми́мо і́де, і стра́жа нощна́я. | Years shall be vanity to them: let the morning pass away as grass. |
|

|
| Уничиже́нія їх лі́та бу́дуть; у́тро я́ко трава́ ми́мо і́деть, у́тро процвіте́ть і пре́йдеть; на ве́чер отпаде́ть, ожесті́єть і і́зсхнеть; | In the morning let it flower, and pass away: in the evening let it droop, let it be withered and dried up. |

| я́ко ізчезо́хом гні́вом Твої́м, і я́ростію Твоє́ю смути́хомся. | For we have perished in thine anger, and in thy wrath we have been troubled. |
|

| Положи́л єси́ беззако́нія на́ша пред Тобо́ю, вік наш в просвіще́ніє лиця́ Твоєго́. | Thou hast set our transgressions before thee: our age is in the light of thy countenance. |
|

|
| Я́ко всі дні́є на́ші оскуді́ша, і гні́вом Твої́м ізчезо́хом; | For all our days are gone, and we have passed away in thy wrath: our years have spun out their tale as a spider. |
|

|
| лі́та на́ша я́ко паучи́на поуча́хуся; дні́є літ на́ших в ни́хже се́дьмдесят літ, а́ще же в си́лах — о́сьмдесят літ, і мно́жає їх труд і болі́знь: я́ко при́йде кро́тость на ни, і нака́жемся. | As for the days of our years, in them are seventy years; and if men should be in strength, eighty years: and the greater part of them would be labour and trouble; for weakness overtakes us, and we shall be chastened. |

| Кто вість держа́ву гні́ва Твоєго́, і от стра́ха Твоєго́ я́рость Твою́ ізчести́? | Who knows the power of thy wrath? |

| Десни́цю Твою́ та́ко скажи́ мі, і окова́нния [і нака́занния] се́рдцем в му́дрості. | and who knows how to number his days because of the fear of thy wrath? So manifest thy right hand, and those that are instructed in wisdom in the heart. |

| Обрати́ся, Го́споди, доко́лі? І умоле́н бу́ди на раби́ Твоя́. | Return, O Lord, how long? and be intreated concerning thy servants. |
|

|
| Іспо́лнихомся зау́тра ми́лости Твоєя́, Го́споди, і возра́довахомся і возвесели́хомся; | We have been satisfied in the morning with thy mercy; and we did exult and rejoice: |

|
| во вся дні на́ша возвесели́хомся, за дні, в ня́же смири́л ни єси́, лі́та, в ня́же ви́діхом зла́я. | let us rejoice in all our days, in return for the days wherein thou didst afflict us, the years wherein we saw evil. |

|
| І при́зри на раби́ Твоя́ і на діла́ Твоя́, і наста́ви си́ни їх. | And look upon thy servants, and upon thy works; and guide their children. |
|

|
| І бу́ди сві́тлость Го́спода Бо́га на́шего на нас, і діла́ рук на́ших іспра́ви на нас, і ді́ло рук на́ших іспра́ви. | And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and do thou direct for us the works of our hands. |
