Возлюби́х, я́ко усли́шить Госпо́дь глас моле́нія моєго́,

я́ко приклони́ у́хо Своє́ мні; і во дні моя́ призову́.

The pangs of death compassed me; the dangers of hell found me: I found affliction and sorrow.

Об'я́ша м'я болі́зні сме́ртния, біди́ а́дови обріто́ша м'я; скорб і болі́знь обріто́х і і́м'я Госпо́днє призва́х.

Then I called on the name of the Lord: O Lord, deliver my soul.

О Го́споди, ізба́ви ду́шу мою́; ми́лостив Госпо́дь і пра́веден, і Бог наш ми́луєть.

The Lord is merciful and righteous; yea, our God has pity.

|
Храня́й младе́нці Госпо́дь; смири́хся, і спасе́ м'я.
|
The Lord preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he delivered me.

Обрати́ся, душе́ моя́, в поко́й твой, я́ко Госпо́дь благоді́йствова тя.
|
Return to thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with thee.

|
я́ко із'я́т ду́шу мою́ от сме́рти, о́чі мої́ от слез і но́зі мої́ от поползнове́нія.
|
For he has delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
|

|
Благоугожду́ пред Го́сподем во страні́ живи́х.
|
I shall be well-pleasing before the Lord in the land of the living.
