| Із уст младе́нець і ссу́щих соверши́л єси́ хвалу́, враг Твої́х ра́ди, є́же разруши́ти врага́ і ме́стника. | Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou perfected praise, because of thine enemies; that thou mightest put down the enemy and avenger. |

| Я́ко узрю́ небеса́, діла́ перст Твої́х, луну́ і зві́зди, я́же Ти основа́л єси́; | For I will regard the heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and stars, which thou hast established. |

| что єсть челові́к, я́ко по́мниши єго́? іли́ син челові́ч, я́ко посіща́єши єго́? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? |

| Ума́лил єси́ єго́ ма́лим чим от а́нгел, сла́вою і че́стію вінча́л єси́ єго́; | Thou madest him a little less than angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour; |

| і поста́вил єси́ єго́ над ді́ли руку́ Твоє́ю, вся покори́л єси́ под но́зі єго́; | and thou hast set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet: |

| о́вці і воли́ вся, єще́ же і скоти́ польські́я, | sheep and all oxen, yea, and the cattle of the field; |

| пти́ці небе́сния і ри́би морські́я, преходя́щия стезі́ морські́я. | the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea, the creatures passing through the paths of the sea. |
