A Prayer for the Poor; when he is deeply afflicted, and pours out his supplication before the Lord.

|
Го́споди, усли́ши моли́тву мою́, і вопль мой к Тебі́ да при́йдеть.
|
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to thee.
|

|
Не отврати́ лиця́ Твоєго́ от мене́; в о́ньже а́ще день скорблю́, приклони́ ко мні у́хо Твоє́; в о́ньже а́ще день призову́ Тя, ско́ро усли́ши м'я.
|
Turn not away thy face from me: in the day when I am afflicted, incline thine ear to me: in the day when I shall call upon thee, speedily hear me.
|

Я́ко ізчезо́ша, я́ко дим, дні́є мої́, і ко́сті моя́, я́ко суши́ло, сосхо́шася.
|
For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.
|

|
Уя́звлен бих, я́ко трава́, і і́зсше се́рдце моє́, я́ко заби́х сні́сти хліб мой.
|
I am blighted like grass, and my heart is dried up; for I have forgotten to eat my bread.
|
|

|
|
От гла́са воздиха́нія моєго́ прильпе́ кость моя́ пло́ті моє́й.
|
By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.
|
|

|
|
Уподо́бихся нея́сити пусти́нній, бих, я́ко нощни́й вран на ни́рищі [на разва́лині].
|
I have become like a pelican of the wilderness;
|
|

|
|
Бдіх і бих, я́ко пти́ця осо́б'ящаяся на зді [на кро́ві].
|
I have become like an owl in a ruined house. I have watched, and am become as a sparrow dwelling alone on a roof.
|
|

|
|
Весь день поноша́ху мі вразі́ мої́, і хва́лящії м'я мно́ю [на м'я] кленя́хуся.
|
All the day long mine enemies have reproached me; and they that praised me have sworn against me.
|
|

|
|
Зане́ пе́пел, я́ко хліб, ядя́х і питіє́ моє́ с пла́чем растворя́х,
|
For I have eaten ashes as it were bread, and mingled my drink with weeping;
|
|

|
|
от лиця́ гні́ва Твоєго́ і я́рости Твоєя́ — я́ко возне́с низве́ргл м'я єси́.
|
because of thine anger and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and dashed me down.
|
|

|
|
Дні́є мої́ я́ко сінь уклони́шася, і аз я́ко сі́но ізсхо́х.
|
My days have declined like a shadow; and I am withered like grass.
|
|

|
|
Ти же, Го́споди, во вік пребива́єши, і па́м'ять Твоя́ в род і род.
|
But thou, Lord, endurest for ever, and thy memorial to generation and generation.
|
|

|
|
Ти воскре́с уще́дриши Сіо́на; я́ко вре́м'я уще́дрити єго́, я́ко при́йде вре́м'я.
|
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Sion: for it is time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come.
|
|

|
|
Я́ко благоволи́ша раби́ Твої́ ка́меніє [о ка́менії] єго́, і персть єго́ уще́дрять.
|
For thy servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust.
|
|

|
|
І убоя́ться язи́ци і́мене Госпо́дня, і всі ца́ріє зе́мстії сла́ви Твоєя́;
|
So the nations shall fear thy name, O Lord, and all kings thy glory.
|
|
17

|
|
я́ко сози́ждеть Госпо́дь Сіо́на і яви́ться во сла́ві Своє́й.
|
For the Lord shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.
|
|
18
|
18
|
|
Призрі́ на моли́тву смире́нних і не унічижи́ моле́нія їх.
|
He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.
|
|
19
|
19
|
|
Да напи́шеться сіє́ в род ін, і лю́діє зи́ждемії восхва́лять Го́спода;
|
Let this be written for another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord.
|
|

|
|
я́ко прини́че с висоти́ святи́я Своєя́, Госпо́дь с небесе́ на зе́млю призрі́,
|
For he has looked out from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord looked upon the earth from heaven;
|
|
21
|
21
|
|
усли́шати воздиха́ніє окова́нних, разріши́ти си́ни умерщвле́нних;
|
to hear the groaning of the fettered ones, to loosen the sons of the slain;
|
|
22
|
22
|
|
возвісти́ти в Сіо́ні і́м'я Госпо́днє і хвалу́ Єго́ во Ієрусали́мі,
|
to proclaim the name of the Lord in Sion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
|
|

|

|
|
внегда́ собра́тися лю́дем вку́пі і царе́м, є́же рабо́тати Го́сподеві.
|
when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve the Lord.
|
|

|

|
|
Отвіща́ Єму́ на путі́ крі́пости Єго́; умале́ніє дній мої́х возвісти́ мі;
|
He answered him in the way of his strength: tell me the fewness of my days.
|
|
25
|
25
|
|
не возведи́ мене́ во преполове́ніє дній мої́х; в ро́ді родо́в лі́та Твоя́.
|
Take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are through all generations.
|
|

|
|
В нача́ліх Ти, Го́споди, зе́млю основа́л єси́, і діла́ руку́ Твоє́ю суть небеса́.
|
In the beginning thou, O Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
|
|
27
|
27
|
|
Та поги́бнуть, Ти же пребива́єши; і вся, я́ко ри́за, обетша́ють, і, я́ко оде́жду, свіє́ши я, і ізміня́ться.
|
They shall perish, but thou remainest: and they all shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them, and they shall be changed.
|

|
|
Ти же То́йжде єси́, і лі́та Твоя́ не оскуді́ють.
|
But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
|
|

|
|
Си́нове раб Твої́х вселя́ться, і сі́м'я їх во вік іспра́виться.
|
The children of thy servants shall dwell securely, and their seed shall prosper for ever.
|
