A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Idumea.

|
Бо́же, Бо́же мой, к Тебі́ у́тренюю; возжада́ Тебе́ душа́ моя́, коль мно́жицею Тебі́ плоть моя́, в землі́ пу́сті і непрохо́дні і безво́дні.
|
O God, my God, I cry to thee early; my soul has thirsted for thee: how often has my flesh longed after thee, in a barren and trackless and dry land!
|

|
Та́ко во святі́м яви́хся Тебі́ ви́діти си́лу Твою́ і сла́ву Твою́.
|
Thus have I appeared before thee in the sanctuary, that I might see thy power and thy glory.
|

|
Я́ко лу́чші ми́лость Твоя́ па́че живо́т; устні́ мої́ похвали́ті Тя.
|
For thy mercy is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.
|
|

|
|
Та́ко благословлю́ Тя в животі́ моє́м і о і́мені Твоє́м воздіжу́ ру́ці мої́.
|
Thus will I bless thee during my life: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
|

|
Я́ко от ту́ка і ма́сти да іспо́лниться душа́ моя́, і устна́ма ра́дости восхва́лять Тя уста́ моя́.
|
Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and my joyful lips shall praise thy name.
|
|

|
|
А́ще помина́х Тя на посте́лі моє́й, на у́тренніх поуча́хся в Тя;
|
Forasmuch as I have remembered thee on my bed: in the early seasons I have meditated on thee.
|
|

|
|
я́ко бил єси́ Помо́щник мой, і в кро́ві крилу́ Твоє́ю возра́дуюся.
|
For thou hast been my helper, and in the shelter of thy wings will I rejoice.
|

|
|
Прильпе́ душа́ моя́ по Тебі́; мене́ же прия́т десни́ця Твоя́.
|
My soul has kept very close behind thee: thy right hand has upheld me.
|
|

|
|
Ті́ї же всу́є іска́ша ду́шу мою́; вни́дуть в преіспо́дняя землі́;
|
But they vainly sought after my soul; they shall go into the lowest parts of the earth.
|
|

|
|
предадя́ться в ру́ки ору́жія, ча́сті ли́совом бу́дуть.
|
They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword; they shall be portions for foxes.
|
|

|
|
Цар же возвесели́ться о Бо́зі; похва́литься всяк клени́йся Ім, я́ко загради́шася уста́ глаго́лющих непра́ведная.
|
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall be praised; for the mouth of them that speak unjust things has been stopped.
