| Іспові́дайтеся Го́сподеві, я́ко благ, я́ко во вік ми́лость Єго́. | Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever. |

| Да реку́ть ізба́вленнії Го́сподем, ї́хже ізба́ви із руки́ врага́, | Let them say so who have been redeemed by the Lord, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy; |
|

|
| і от стран собра́ їх, от восто́к і за́пад, і сі́вера і мо́ря; | and gathered them out of the countries, from the east, and west, and north, and south. |
|

|
| заблуди́ша в пусти́ні безво́дній, путі́ гра́да оби́тельнаго не обріто́ша; | They wandered in the wilderness in a dry land; they found no way to a city of habitation. |
|

|
| а́лчуще і жа́ждуще, душа́ їх в них ізчезе́. | Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. |
|

|
| І воззва́ша ко Го́споду, внегда́ скорбі́ти їм, і от нужд їх ізба́ви я; | Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he delivered them out of their distresses. |
|

|
| і наста́ви я на путь прав, вни́ти во град оби́тельний. | And he guided them into a straight path, that they might go to a city of habitation. |
|

|
| Да іспові́дяться [да іспові́дять] Го́сподеві ми́лості Єго́ і чудеса́ Єго́ синово́м челові́чеським; | Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men. |
|

|
| я́ко наси́тил єсть ду́шу тщу, і ду́шу а́лчущу іспо́лни благ; | For he satisfies the empty soul, and fills the hungry soul with good things, |
|

|
| сідя́щия во тьмі і сі́ні сме́ртній, окова́нния нището́ю і желі́зом, | even them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death, fettered in poverty and iron; |
|

|

|
| я́ко преогорчи́ша словеса́ Бо́жія, і сові́т Ви́шняго раздражи́ша. | because they rebelled against the words of God, and provoked the counsel of the Most High. |
|

|
| І смири́ся в труді́х се́рдце їх, і ізнемого́ша, і не бі помага́яй. | So their heart was brought low with troubles; they were weak, and there was no helper. |
|

|
| І воззва́ша ко Го́споду, внегда́ скорбі́ти їм, і от нужд їх спасе́ я; | Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses. |
|

|
| і ізведе́ я із тьми і сі́ні сме́ртния, і у́зи їх растерза́. | And he brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds asunder. |
|

|
| Да іспові́дяться [да іспові́дять] Го́сподеві ми́лості Єго́ і чудеса́ Єго́ синово́м челові́чеським; | Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonders to the children of men. |
|

|
| я́ко сокруши́ врата́ мі́дная, і вереї́ желі́зния сломи́. | For he broke to pieces the brazen gates, and crushed the iron bars. |
|

|
| Восприя́т я от путі́ беззако́нія їх; беззако́ній бо ра́ди свої́х смири́шася. | He helped them out of the way of their iniquity; for they were brought low because of their iniquities. |
|

|
| Вся́каго бра́шна возгнуша́ся душа́ їх, і прибли́жишася до врат сме́ртних. | Their soul abhorred all meat; and they drew near to the gates of death. |
|

| І воззва́ша ко Го́споду, внегда́ скорбі́ти їм, і от нужд їх спасе́ я; | Then they cried to the Lord in their affliction, and he saved them out of their distresses. |
|

|
| посла́ сло́во своє́, і ізціли́ я, і ізба́ви я от растлі́ній їх. | He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions. |
|

|
| Да іспові́дяться [да іспові́дять] Го́сподеві ми́лості Єго́ і чудеса́ Єго́ синово́м челові́чеським; | Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men. |

| і да пожру́ть Єму́ же́ртву хвали́ і да возвістя́ть діла́ Єго́ в ра́дості. | And let them offer to him the sacrifice of praise, and proclaim his works with exultation. |

| Сходя́щії в мо́ре в корабле́х, творя́щії ді́ланія в вода́х мно́гих, | They that go down to the sea in ships, doing business in many waters; |
|

|
| ті́ї ви́діша діла́ Госпо́дня і чудеса́ Єго́ во глубині́. | these men have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep. |
|

|
| Рече́ — і ста дух бу́рен, і вознесо́шася во́лни єго́; | He speaks, and the stormy wind arises, and its waves are lifted up. |
|

|
| восхо́дять до небе́с і низхо́дять до бездн; душа́ їх в злих та́яше; | They go up to the heavens, and go down to the depths; their soul melts because of troubles. |
|

|
27
|
| см'ято́шася, подвиго́шася, я́ко пія́ний, і вся му́дрость їх поглощена́ бисть. | They are troubled, they stagger as a drunkard, and all their wisdom is swallowed up. |
|

| І воззва́ша ко Го́споду, внегда́ скорбі́ти їм, і от нужд їх ізведе́ я; | Then they cry to the Lord in their affliction, and he brings them out of their distresses. |
|

|
| і повелі́ бу́рі, і ста в тишину́, і умолко́ша во́лни єго́. | And he commands the storm, and it is calmed into a gentle breeze, and its waves are still. |
|

|

|
| І возвесели́шася, я́ко умолко́ша, і наста́ви я в приста́нище хоті́нія Своєго́. | And they are glad, because they are quiet; and he guides them to their desired haven. |
|

|
| Да іспові́дяться [да іспові́дять] Го́сподеві ми́лості Єго́ і чудеса́ Єго́ синово́м челові́чеським; | Let them acknowledge to the Lord his mercies, and his wonderful works to the children of men. |

| да вознесу́ть єго́ в Це́ркві людсті́й, і на сіда́лищі ста́рець восхва́лять Єго́. | Let them exalt him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders. |
|

|
| Положи́л єсть рі́ки в пусти́ню і ісхо́диша водна́я в жа́жду, | He turns rivers into a desert, and streams of water into a dry land; |
|

|

|
| зе́млю плодоно́сную в сла́ность, от зло́би живу́щих на ней. | a fruitful land into saltness, for the wickedness of them that dwell in it. |
|

|
| Положи́л єсть пусти́ню во єзе́ра водна́я і зе́млю безво́дную во ісхо́дища водна́я. | He turns a wilderness into pools of water, and a dry land into streams of water. |
|

|
| І насели́ та́мо а́лчущия, і соста́виша гра́ди оби́тельни; | And there he causes the hungry to dwell, and they establish for themselves cities of habitation. |
|

|

|
| і насі́яша се́ла, і насади́ша виногра́ди, і сотвори́ша плод жи́тен. | And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, and they yield fruit of increase. |

|
| І благослови́ я, і умно́жишася зіло́; і скоти́ їх не ума́ли. | And he blesses them, and they multiply exceedingly, and he diminishes not the number of their cattle. |

|
| І ума́лишася і озло́бишася от ско́рби зол і болі́зні; | Again they become few, and are brought low, by the pressure of evils and pain. |
|

|
40
|
| ізлія́ся унічиже́ніє на кня́зі їх, і облазни́ [заблужда́ти сотвори́] я по непрохо́дній, а не по путі́. | Contempt is poured upon their princes, and he causes them to wander in a desert and trackless land. |

|
| І помо́же убо́гу от нищети́ і положи́, я́ко о́вці, оте́чествія. | But he helps the poor out of poverty, and makes him families as a flock. |
|

|
42
|
| У́зрять пра́вії і возвеселя́ться, і вся́коє беззако́ніє загради́ть уста́ своя́. | The upright shall see and rejoice; and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. |

|
| Кто прему́др і сохрани́ть сія́? І разумі́ють ми́лості Госпо́дні. | Who is wise, and will observe these things, and understand the mercies of the Lord? |
