Коль возлю́бленна селе́нія Твоя́, Го́споди Сил.

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
|

Жела́єть і скончава́ється душа́ моя́ во двори́ Госпо́дні; се́рдце моє́ і плоть моя́ возра́довастася о Бо́зі жи́ві.
|
My soul longs, and faints for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.
|

І́бо пти́ця обрі́те себі́ хра́мину, і го́рлиця гніздо́ себі́, іді́же положи́ть птенці́ своя́, олтарі́ Твоя́, Го́споди Сил, Царю́ мой і Бо́же мой.
|
Yea, the sparrow has found himself a home, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
|

Блаже́нні живу́щії в дому́ Твоє́м; в ві́ки віко́в восхва́лять Тя.
|
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will praise thee evermore. Pause.

Блаже́н муж, єму́же єсть заступле́ніє єго́ у Тебе́; восхожде́нія в се́рдці своє́м положи́,
|
Blessed is the man whose help is of thee, O Lord; in his heart he has purposed to go up
|

во юдо́ль плаче́вную, в мі́сто є́же положи́ [во юдо́лі плаче́вній, в мі́сті, є́же положи́]; і́бо благослове́ніє дасть законополага́яй.
|
the valley of weeping, to the place which he has appointed, for there the law-giver will grant blessings.
|

По́йдуть от си́ли в си́лу; яви́ться Бог бого́в в Сіо́ні.
|
They shall go from strength to strength: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.
|

|
Го́споди, Бо́же Сил, усли́ши моли́тву мою́, внуши́, Бо́же Іа́ковль.
|
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: hearken, O God of Jacob. Pause.
|

|
Защи́тниче наш, виждь, Бо́же, і при́зри на лице́ христа́ Твоєго́.
|
Behold, O God our defender, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
|

|
Я́ко лу́чше день єди́н во дво́ріх Твої́х па́че ти́сящ; ізво́лих примета́тися в дому́ Бо́га моєго́ па́че, не́же жи́ти мі в селе́ніїх грі́шничих.
|
For one day in thy courts is better than thousands. I would rather be an abject in the house of God, than dwell in the tents of sinners.
|

Я́ко ми́лость і і́стину лю́бить Госпо́дь, Бог благода́ть і сла́ву дасть; Госпо́дь не лиши́ть благи́х ходя́щих незло́бієм.
|
For the Lord loves mercy and truth: God will give grace and glory: the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

Го́споди, Бо́же сил, блаже́н челові́к упова́яй на Тя.
|
O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in thee.
